Great installation and clear and straightforward process
Thank you for your kind comments 😊🛠
It's a shame my local B&Q branch only sells warped and twisted doors! In fact I've yet to find a straight piece of timber in the entire store.....!
Would have been nice if you had shown how the door operates from the OTHER side - especially the PULL handles
Yeah, I was wondering too
From other side no handle is needed, just push to open ..
@@XYZ-lc7cd but you need a centre handle for closing properly.
Yes only shows handle on one side solution I think is a recessed finger handle that you can pull or push. Better in centre of door?
thank you
You're welcome 😊
i could listen to his accent all day. i might need to watch this a few times just to negate the distraction factor :)
Clear and cute.
🥰
Excellent thank you
Can you fit any draught excluding to this as to stop say kitchen fumes from entering the other room?
Hi there! Yes, you could fit draught excluders to the door frame as you would a normal door. However, please be mindful of where you put them, in case it gets in the way of the door opening and closing properly. You can check out our range of draught excluders & door seals below! I hope this helps 😊

just bought one of these doors and the fittings that came with kit bear no resemblance to the ones on your video! so I can't work it out as there are no predrilled holes as there should be!
had it delivered so I don't think it came from my local store
minute 1:01 - typo in "Required door bi-fold width... should be "'width' of opening..." not "height"... right?
It would help for novices like me what size the door dimensions are
My door opening is 2000mm high & 680mm width not sure what size bi fold to buy
Hi Lisa, most off the shelve bi-fold doors are designed to fit standard door openings. Bi-fold doors are fitted with a track at the top and a pivot bracket at the bottom. So, the door height needs to be roughly 40mm less than the height of the door opening and roughly 13mm less than the width of the door opening. Some standard bi-fold doors can be cut down by approximately 10mm in height and width. If you need to cut the width, you will need to separate the two sections of the doors and cut an even amount on each side (if you need to cut 10mm, that'll be 5mm on each door). You will need to check the manufactures instructions on the door you would like, to make sure you're able to cut it. Our range of doors will tell you in the Product Description what size of opening the door will fit. You may have to look into having the door 'Made to Measure' if you're unable to fit a standard door. I hope this helps! 😊
My door is wider 121cm width so planning to get double bi fold doors but I wanted all to open to one side not one bi fold to right and the other to the left. So will I be able to open all to one side?
I can find any other products that will do 3 or 4 panes.
Hi, we have a range of bi fold doors that are 3-4 doors long. Please click on the following link and scroll down to see these. I hope this helps! 😄 bit.ly/3AMDUKo
Did you ever find a solution to this? I have the same setup
I can see gap between bifold door. How to fill that?
@@bandq If you look at the hinges for the bifold - they are not recessed, that might be why there is a gap. Also I assume you can add door stops as there are also major gaps either side?

How are you supposed to get a lock on that door?
First great job 🙋♀ I have a funkie bathroom door. I wish I could install a pocket door but found out I’ll have to move a wall to make it fit. I have a according(plastic) door there now. I hate it. Can a bifold door be installed but fold in the room instead of out into the room?
Hi, Linda! The bifold door has to close against the door-stop of the door frame, so it will depend where the door-stops are positioned. If they're in the wrong position for what you want and if the frame has loose (pinned) door-stops, then it should be possible to move the door-stops to the other side. If the stops are actually rebated out of the frame and can't be moved, the frame would have to be removed and turned around or a new frame fitted. Hope this helps! 😊
@@bandq thank you
What about the Gap
Hi 👋 Thanks for reaching out! Could you provide more info regarding your query and we'll be able to assist further 😊
It’s quite obvious
👍
😄
WOW
Why cant these doors be used without the runner?
Every frame should have a door stop so you can , you only need hinges !
inches please
Hi, if you put the dimensions your looking for into a search engine and type "convert to inches", you will get the measurement you want 😊
horrendous instructions come with the door
What the heck is a millymeter?
Thatguy Overthere millimeter. Get a ruler/measuring tape with cm measurements? In simple terms if you see a centimeter (cm) measurement, the millimeter is each little point within that measurement (there are 10). It goes Meter - centimeter - millimeters. Much easier than inches.
What the heck people don't educate anymore??
