My 23 year old daughter used to love scouring through second hand stores looking for bargains until she got a job in a luxury store. Although she always looked great in her clothes I'm amazed how her style has changed. She donated many of her second hand clothes (which were mainly mass produced items from fast fashion stores) and has started investing in quality pieces like cashmere. It takes a while to achieve but the investment is worth it. Her wardrobe has less items in it now but is a lot more curated and she always looks elegant and stylish in what she wears. So you and my daughter are two people I aspire to in the wardrobe I would love to have.

This video has inspired me to get rid of my 30 odd pair of shoes and save up to buy a burberry trench coat! They are almost £1800 in the UK now 😮 I have been meaning to get one since they were around £1500!

Wow can’t believe they’re £1800 now! The Burberry trench coats are really worth it! I bought mine when they were £1500 and thought I was crazy spending so much on a trench but have gotten so much wear out of it since. It still looks as good as new after 7 years or so.

Ahhhh thank you so much! This is so helpful! I started my job during college and never had to dress properly and then we suddenly went remote and I have no idea what to wear in a work setting and may be transitioning to an onsite position so I really needed this!
I prefer Merino to cashmere, warm soft but above all easier to wash :). I have shrunk countless cashmere piece.

Me too. Cashmere jumpers may be softer but they are way expensive and difficult to maintain

So Enjoyable! Love your wardrobe. I just thrifted a few more neutral pieces to add to my wardrobe - a wool lined Full length Trench Coat, Cashmere Sweater, Cognac Leather Boots... Still hunting for the perfect Camel Wool Coat. One thing I've learned, I may have shared this before; since searching for quality Natural materials I bring home fewer pieces... more selective and shopping is more fun, even when I don't purchase anything. I loove your outfits, simply beautiful💙💜🖤 I wonder what do you wear with these lovely jumper-tunics, on the bottom? These are leggings, or jeggings or fitting trousers? Sadly, you did not mention this topic of bottoms. Also, I see you store shoes on furniture surfaces without putting any protecting layer. Say you've come from walk, then what do you normally do- you clean the shoe soles each time, and dry it, before you put shoes on and in shelves, or you just put shoes how they are and clean shelves from time to time? Your shelves are white and clean, and I'm very curious about your scheme of how you keep it all in such museum type of cleanliness, since shoes we wear every day and soles is most dirty surface
I usually wear skinny jeans with jumpers/tops and leggings with dresses. Regarding the shoe storage, I feel like you heard the little voice in me 🙈 I’ve been thinking to add a layer of water proof vinyl in the shoe drawers. As for now, I usually leave the shoes in the passageway by the front door when I enter the house. I have a little shoe cabinet there too, so I usually wipe when I can and then leave them to dry there for a bit. Depending on where I go and what I do for the week, I then store the shoes in my drawers in the room xx

Do you have to wash and dry clothes more often with a small wardrobe?
It depends on the item. For example, it’s not recommended to dry clean cashmere regularly anyway, but I do have to wash those close-to-skin pieces more regularly xx
