Do you have any organizational tips that changed your closet? 👇🏼🥰 And watch How to stop buying clothes you never wear next: ua-cam.com/video/VT9hs3hrhTc/v-deo.html ❤
🙋🏼♀️ I’ve been organizing my clothes by how I wear them/put them on, top to bottom, and then by color 🌈! I put all tops 👚 on the top rack of closet or top drawers of the dresser, and work my way down with bottoms👖 on the bottom rack or bottom drawers, and shoes at the very bottom of the closet. It’s really easy for me to see what matches when I have the tops right above the bottoms above the shoes in the same color. Which is awesome when you love monochromatic outfits! I find it helps me get dressed faster because I just start with the top drawer or closet rack and work my way down. I also do it with my intimates and socks! ❤️
I have a rule...one new item in...one old item out. Also, all my leather...belts, shoes and bags, are protected by Dubbin or other protective coat. I still have 20 year old Country Road boots...in pristine condition.
@@KimBedene i can tell you it gave me so much inspiration, that i am planning some serious reorganization (and a trip to Ikea, too😁) But don't worry, i am not going to do an insane declutter, or something very drastic to my house: i was meditating many different dispositions for quite some time now, and your video gave me the energy and motivation to finally strike😁 Thank you again 🥰
@@federicamanfroi That's sounds amazing, I'm glad you got inspired!! 😊 And my closet, including all the drawers and inserts is actually from Ikea as well, I love their PAX closet system so much, you can really customise it to your needs 😉 Have fun reorganising! 😘
I love that you mentioned re-wearing clothes! This cuts down on so much time and energy you don't need to waste and it's way better for your clothes, the environment & your wallet! They'll last way longer! And it's important to have a place to keep them. And I loved the idea of putting up a quote inside your wardrobe doors. If I had a wardrobe, I would put up some old pictures that make me smile! (socks)
I have a reach in closet and when I wear a shirt or blouse that doesn't need washing yet,I hanq it inside out so I will recognize that it has been worn before. I also use an over the door bar that extends from the door into the closet and holds about 10 hangars. It is useful for segregating clothes that have been worn from the rest of the clothing that hasn't been worn.
The half-dirty clothes (of my husband & 2 sons) are the bane of my existence. And living in FL, and being cold all the time anyway, I don’t even have to deal with storage of cold weather clothes … Nicely done video though. I agree with almost everything.
🧦 I've never heard anyone talk about creating areas for your currently worn clothes! That's so helpful!!! I have ADHD and I'm not good at putting my clothes away at the end of the day - they all end up tossed onto the same chair in the corner! 😂 I don't have a lot of wardrobe space, but maybe I can find a basket or a hook situation to leave items that I'm still wearing before they get washed...
I have a small garment rack that I use to hang garments that I want to wear again before I wash them. (I like to put only freshly laundered clothes back in my closet). Usually, they end up only draped over rack, not on hangers, but it’s better than the floor🙂
I have a coat stand in my bedroom where these things go. It is not very esthetically pleasing, but the clothes have a dedicated spot and do not fall of the chair. And the chair is actually free for sitting.
🧦 Another Wardrobe changing video! Not only are you videos full of specific tips instead of generalizations, but the are succinct and not full of unnecessary talking. I find your videos so valuable. From this one I have a few things to try to make my wardrobe even better!

The way you talk about this most stagnated part of my life has motivated me so much that instead of sitting down to rest a little after putting my kids to bed, I FINALLY tackled the laundry situation in my bedroom. Between two adults and an ever-growing toddler and baby, there are just so many items. And recently having been pregnant, I am still juggling the clothes that fit me before the pregnancy, maternity wear and what fits me now. Some things I am unwilling to let go of, some I am not ready to accept into my new reality... it's a struggle. But now, at 2:48 a.m., it at least looks like someone has control over what's going on in there. And then I can take it from here 😊 Thank you for the positive push!! I never put any clothes I’ve worn back in my closet, I have a hook I hang things I’ve worn but want to wear again. I am a stickler for keeping a good smelling closet…and use a diffuser with essential oils as well as only allowing clean things in my closet. I am lucky I have a walk in closet so I can separate clean and worn clothes apart.
Ikr?! Omg. Clothes that are to be reworn I hang at the front of my closet, on the door. But really not a fan, even like that. Also, OMG?!?!, do NOT take off the tag until you ACTUALLY wear it, and take it off and wear it ONLY if you plan on wearing it multiple times. Once the tag is off, the reselling value will have plummeted!
I love that you’re bringing up the extremely important aspect of our overconsumptions of clothes. ❤ For nature and wildlife, clothes production is one of the industries that cause most harm. The same goes for the end of the textile waste cycle. Clothes production both begin and end with pollution in countries that pay the price in nature destruction. And healthy human living conditions are dependent on healthy nature. I would love it if you develop this aspect of your clothes philosophy in your channel even more. 🌍❤️♻️
This video inspired me, I took all the clothes out, selected the ones that I'd wear now in the winter, and filtered the ones that actually still fit me well. I now have about 7-10 wearable tshirts. Explains why I am not able to put together an outfit every other day. Thanks for this video.
The tip about using methods that take less time is extremely smart! I get overwhelmed when it comes to putting new or "special" clothes into my wardrobe and it always leads to procrastination, and I've found that the best solutions are the immediate ones like the video mentioned. Thank you for sharing useful information, keep up the good work! 🧦✨
🧦🧦 very good ideas. I will look into adding a bin for’wear again’ items because that’s the thing that makes my closet look messy as I currently use hooks. My thought was that the items aired but the look of your set up is so tidy- love it
Great video! So many good suggestions. I will be trying the folded method so I can see everything in the drawer. I hate making a mess and seeing what’s stacked under and so I just grab what’s on top and end up wearing the same few things and neglect the items that are folded under in the drawer! ❤
This was so incredibly helpful, thank you! I especially like the fact that you talked about where to put things that are in between dirty and clean. Thanks so much!
Lots of terrific tips! I have hung my sweaters on padded or (now) velvet hangers for many years and never had issues with them stretching out of shape. However, if I had a long sweater dress I would fold the bottom neatly over the bottom rung of another hanger beside the first. Something that long would be heavier and more likely to stretch. Thanks!

🧦🧦🧦 Hello! I just found your channel and am also in the process of decluttering my closet. I really liked the tips you suggested, especially the used not dirty Thank you very much for your advice 😁
Wow! you're the first person that talks about already worn items, I also don't wash it if it's not dirty but I don't like to put it again with everything else, I will try the boxes method! Thank you!😊
I agree with all the great comments. This video was so much more in-depth on a meaningful way. I am struggling with how to hang my very casual clothes and then dressy clothes. Do I separate them or hang them together by style, shirt sleeve, long sleeve or by color. Tried several ways and haven’t found the right fit. I don’t have to dress for work anymore just going out to dinner etc. but those clothes are much dressier so not easily mixed with super casual.
Yay, I'm so glad you enjoyed it so much! 🥰 As for your question, I always like to design a layout that matches how you get ready. So if you think about your process, do you first pick your items based on category, colour or occasion? I for some reason always start with colour, so my wardrobe reflects that. But my mum prefers to start with a category (short-sleeves, long-sleeves, dresses), so we divided her closet into 3 categories that we sorted by colours. I don't see anything wrong with mixing fancy pieces with casual ones unless like I said, you prefer to start with the occasion 😉 I hope I explained it well and that this is helpful❤

Thanks for the video Cindy i enjoyed it as usual, everything is coming on nicely, kitchen looks great, was nice to see Louise again. Good luck for your future Louise. ❤🏴
Thank you Kim, I've learned new tips here! I'm just in the process of decluttering and reorganising my closet, my problem is I find it really hard to let things go and I have a hard time deciding what to get rid of because I love most of my clothes but I just have too much! How do I decide what to get rid of?😅

🧦 great ideas I will come back to this vid to write down some of the ideas. Love the half dirty boxes and the book to fold everything the same size 🤯 this will change my life 😅
First video I've watched of yours and I've subscribed, I just hope I'll be able to declutter my things. I've got a wardrobe that's full of different pieces of clothing and my drawers are full and I have no room for anymore. Considering wearing these pieces of clothing more, so once it comes to decluttering, it will end up with less each time. I feel like I cannot declutter as all the stuff in my wardrobe is brand new and I've not long bought them and it would be a waste of money if I decide to throw it away etc. Loving your video btw! Hope you see this comment x ❤🧦
🧦Thank you. I'm a singer so have separate cupboards for home clothes, going out like a normal person clothes, and then all my long show dresses on one rail and short dresses on another, and then the other items and shoes for themed events I keep in transparent plastic crates with labels on
Thanks for all your tips. I’ve watched so many organisational videos but this is so helpful and clear to follow. I am looking forward to getting my wardrobe organised now. 🤗.

I've watched quite a few videos about organizing clothes, but yours seems the best to me. I made some notes and will try out a few ideas tomorrow. Thanks. Greetings from Poland. 😊
Great, happy organising! 😘
You are the sweetest!! Thank you for all the tips! They are all great!! I don't have drawers so I am trying to see how I'll do those pieces that could be folded.
I am watching it several times because you’re pleasant to watch and your ideas are ones that I want to be instilled into my daily life. Thanks a bunch!!!🧦🧦🧦

🧦Great video! I really struggle with organizing things, but treating a wardrobe like a store display is really helpful. Hopefully my closet will look better now 😊
Good luck organising! 🥰
I loved your video. I just decluttered my closet and you gave me more ideas. You are so cute and I could listen to you all day. I hope you will have more organization videos! 🧦

I have every single item in my wardrobe you mentioned to we should declutter
Kim is a lovely person. I also read Mary Kondo's book, and applied most of Mary's tips but I also roll my jeans in a drawer! (like Kim).
How do you know the leg width if it’s all rolled up?
Great👍👍one hard thing here in California is we have basically one season with maybe 3 weeks of cool.
Love your long cardigan trick! 🧦

Thank you Kim, I've learned new tips here! I'm just in the process of decluttering and reorganising my closet, my problem is I find it really hard to let things go and I have a hard time deciding what to get rid of because I love most of my clothes but I just have too much! How do I decide what to get rid of?😅
I'm glad you enjoyed this! 🥰 And if you have trouble deciding, I have an entire video about this topic only, which is amazing, and I will link it for you here: ua-cam.com/video/dkuz8ln3H-k/v-deo.html ❤

Awesome 😍 Thank you!
Simple explanations, very helpful ideas and advice, love it , I will implement them!
🧦 great ideas I will come back to this vid to write down some of the ideas. Love the half dirty boxes and the book to fold everything the same size 🤯 this will change my life 😅
Yay, this makes me so happy, I'm glad I could help! 🥰
This was the most useful video I’ve seen about organizing a closet.thank you so much ❤
Yay, this is so nice to hear! ❤
Yay, welcome, I'm happy to have you here! 😊 And absolutely, decluttering is process so do it at your own pace 😉😘
How freakin cute and sweet can someone be?!? I’m sold. Love your polite nature and your Genius tips! I’m subscribing 100%
