Ohtani is basically setting new records for Dodgers or for baseball history or for MLB or for himself in almost every game or every other games or several times in every game! If you're an Ohtani fan, you'll be busy of receiving all sorts of baseball data twt in almost every game telling you all kinds of records Ohtani broke since his arrival in MLB and especially after 2021. Recently Ohtani had broken a series of his own and Dodgers and MLB records, but sometimes Ohtani broke some very interesting and unique historical baseball records that either made us laugh or tears😂!
To me, shohei is a full time pitcher and part-time DH. I love that MLB is all about shohei recently even though he is not even playing his full time role. Love watching the goat play! Walk him? He steals a base.
If the next batters are Betts and Freeman, Shohei Ohtani won't run boldly unless the pitcher goes into slow motion. This probably comes from his high baseball IQ, which allows him to understand the psychology of pitchers and sluggers and develop strategies that take the entire batting lineup into consideration. Now that both players are absent, we will actively accumulate numbers!
Not exactly, Betts was too slow in running bases that Ohtani was once got caught in first game of Dodgers stadium because he ran too fast while Betts in front of him couldn't catch up with Ohtani's amazing speed. After then, Ohtani slowed down a lot when Betts was running before him!

Ohtani has been aggressive on the bases recently, stealing a lot of bags. He's fast and has a good sliding technique. Imagine, though, that you're running down a dirt path and have to drop to your rear end and legs to slide along the hard dirt for several feet. It still seems like a recipe for hurting yourself. Oh well, what do I know?
@@stevesmith756 Yes, I followed the Angels the whole time Ohtani was playing with that team. Trout is now so injury-prone that he can't be counted on to help a team. But Trout rarely even tries to steal anymore for fear of injury. Yes, age is a factor, and the game is inherently rough on the body. Baseball is still boring. They need to speed it up and increase the scoring. There should be an intentional walk zone outside the strike zone that goes 2 bases instead of 1. Even faster pitching clock, they already have all the advantage. Stolen bases can run outside the line and has to be touched with the ball in glove for an out. So simple to make it more fun to watch.
