Japan is actually one of the Asian countries that have the best Baseball Players out there besides USA.
That last pitch slider was SAVAGE!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Congrats, Japan!! 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵

Trout was trying to pull it when he should have tapped it to a single to right field.

Same stadium where he got 50/50 with 3 HR's 2 SB's and 5 XBH's and 10 RBI's!
with a broken arm too
This is almost just as intense as when it happened live. This is what sports is all about. This was truly a special moment in sports.
the real 'world' series when you think about it
The re invigoration of baseball in America has a direct correlation with Ohtanis success. He's incredible and even though he (and japan) beat us this kind of excitement and attention to the Great American pass time makes me so happy
True. Now AMERICAN football needs a re invigorating bc it's not popular worldwide yet... Tho technically Rugby is kinda similar to it?
American football will never be popular worldwide, lol
@@MasterCombine I agree. Its too complicated and the refs sometimes have more yardage than the players. Its a truly beautiful sport with some of the most technical playcalling and moving parts on the field. But to go global it needs to be understandable easily like soccer or baseball. And they need to invest in getting rid of the refs/expediently overruling bad calls and no-calls
@@MasterCombine i dont think people realize how long it would take for any country to catch up with america in football lmao
The ultimate dream matchup? No. That sir would be Ohtani vs Ohtani.
Finally, he reached “54-59”
Fact that he is great at hit and pitch is insane.
When the epic hero meets the final boss
I will never forget thinking the day of the game
‘Wow, there’s a chance it could come down to ohtani vs. trout with the game on the line’
The fact that this came to fruition is an absolute treat, a moment that I will cherish forever as a baseball fan
It still amazes me that Ohtani is not only a great hitter but also a great pitcher!!! Just wow!!!
Dont forget great runner and fielder
@@MasqueradeDance1 the Lebron James of baseball
@@GabiN64 he's better than Lebron
@TraumaER Lebron can play all 5 positions on the court and has. No other player in recent memory can do that.
@@GabiN64 LOL, he can't play Center and doubt anyone would call him a SF or PF.
Its been over 5 days... But ive literally watched this over 100 times. SOOOOOO ELECTRIFYING
He's like a right-handed Randy Johnson. 100 mph gas and a completely psychotic slider. Oh, and then you put a bat in his hands and he hits 50+ home runs and steals more bases than Ichiro.
I've called him "once in a generation" baseball talent but I think he might be once in a lifetime.
One in multiple lifetimes. Some life will never see a player like him
51/51 club the greatest ever
I was watching how he had one of the most amazing games batting the other day. I had never heard of him before. Now he's a pitcher too? This dude is going places.
a year later in 2024 he joins the 40/40 club with a walk-off grand slam.
I'm 66 that was one of the greatest things I have ever seen
Ohtani is something special indeed. What he is doing is legendary
Almost forgot this dude could pitch as well.
Amazing…..😮
We don't even have baseball in the UK but now I am a fan of the sport and Shohei Otani. Congrats to team Japan.
