1. Break boxes for goodies 2. Explore levels for goddies 3. Know your grenades 4. Stay and fight to heal, don't run 5. Don't rush to dodge and parry 6. Press execute button while meleeing just incase 7. Re-map parry on PC 8. Dodge 9. Learn combos of each melee weapon
Re #7: remap nearly everything on kbm. It's all pretty bad. Especially compared to controller, where the default is basically perfect. I ended up mapping shoot to left mouse, aim to right mouse, grenade to mouse3, melee to mouse4, and parry to mouse5. Then fiddled a little bit with the keyboard controls to get those I more intuitive places, and it ended up feeling pretty good. It took a lot of experimenting and adjusting to get it right though.
Just learning about this game. Listening to the tips and watching the game play in the video I am reminded of Outriders. Is this pretty similar or am I off-track?
Love seeing destiny content creators playing other games than deadstiny 😂 on a serious note glad to see you spread your wings more true Vanguard been a fan of your content since d1 but destiny is definitely not it anymore unfortunately dead like some friends irl since d1. Keep making new content go off king.
Tip #10: Don't add a gun you just upgraded to artifice to another loadout, or else you'll just waste your 2nd coin (if you have it). Now I have to suffer through another substantial with a weaker main gun because of a horrible, unexplained mechanic.
Could've accidentally upgraded the artificer weapon by accident? If you hold the select button (e.g. X on PS) down after the weapon has been selected, then you'll use an armoury data to upgrade that weapon, thereby getting the mastery token jobbie (weapon perk token) without pouring experience into the weapon.
@@Oakeybloke That very well is something I could've done early in this game, but I saved the video of it happening as soon as I noticed it was gone so I could go back and see what happened, and it for sure cleared the token just from equipping it to another loadout on the same class! I'll watch again to make sure (on my home computer) but I'm pretty sure it was just a single press to equip, not a long hold of X. Not that it really matters anymore. If it was an error, hopefully it was fixed and didn't harm too many people who were low then. I'm sure some people would be pissed if it happened to their one extra relic coin they were saving for a main primary or secondary, and maybe has since I complained, but back then I didn't see any posts about it happening to others. Thanks!
@@corywertz9268 fair play, I made the same mistake, though only with green data. The mistake I made with requisition points was probably funnier - used all the points you start with + from all the trials (was learning the game so quite enjoyed them) on unlocking several chapters worth of cosmetics, almost one for each class beyond tactical. Then I saw that I needed points for perks and weapons! And was doing minimal threat for too long, so struggled for a while 😂 Am one with the game mechanics now though 👌🏼
@@Oakeybloke Ayyye, there you go hahaha. Its funny how we get used to mechanics then look back at old complaints, and for me, I feel quite silly now worrying about it, like one more purple run with a green gun was gonna be the worst thing I've ever done. TBF, It sure wasn't fun at the time though, I remember purple enemies taking a lot longer to kill with the green heavy bolter at the time.
@@corywertz9268 always good to look back and laugh, we get value that way 🙂 You're well ahead of me anyways, I'm starting to do substantial runs with green guns. Wish me luck!
I wish you had waited to post all these videos man, I get you got to feed your family, but when I say that I have been waiting all my life for this game, I mean it, so as I really want to support you space marine 2 videos, I can’t till I play the whole game, will be back to watch every video probably next week sometime, when us normal people get hands on with the game
I will definitely be checking this game out if the story is interesting ill buy ut but NO MORE STORIES ABOUT WHINING AND CRYING MEN!!! The main issue with D2 stories is the completely boring "whining broken men" trope the only expansions/seasons that were kinda interesting had no whining broken characters. Hope this game can just be strong warrior men putting aside themselves for a greater good.
All time bad take. Men are allowed to feel emotions, that doesn't make them "whiny" or "broken." D2 stories like Crow wrestling with his previous life as Uldren or Zavala with the death of his family were great narratives. Titus was betrayed by his battle brother in Space Marine 1, that could make some great storytelling here in the sequel.
@@Deep_WatersI’m not sure I would say betrayed. His Battle Brother saw some sketchy warp stuff going on and was like “wait a minute. . .” He was a snitch for sure, but I at least understand his motives.
If anything it could be argued that Titus betrayed the Ultramarines, the Codex Astartes, and possibly even the Emperor, and he seems to believe that given that he's volunteered himself as a Deathwatch Black Shield. @@stuartbagley2586
Love seeing the Thousand Sons not burst into bloody gore but into pure Warp energy.
Lore accurate.
Right? There's a ton of fan service in this game but done naturally and organically.
Always impressed with your reaction times in any of these “dodge and parry” games. I just get smoked in the face all the time 😂
Got beat sekiro, then you too will be a parry/dodge God. Lies of p or stellar blade work too

Just found out about this game 2 weeks ago. Super excited for it.
I like the new game coverage TV 💪
I CANT WAIT to play this game on launch

Really looking forward to getting my hands on this.
Thanks for the tips. Excited to play today
To my pleasant surprise the combat feels crispy and clean, thought it would be way more clunky
Mouse right Zoom, middle Mouse Ping, two Mouse Buttons for melee and parry, way easyer for me to handle! Give it a try
I’m fired up about this game

Picking this game up
Are you going to stream this one?
It looks really fun actually
Useful info. Took 3 times longer to say than needed

Get baited nerd, your carrion emperor is a fraud
If you have adaptive triggers set on your ps5, turn them off or you will be forever fighting with your controller with any shooting

As a man, I couldn't agree less. The more we normalize men who cry and struggle and have emotions (other than anger), the better 🙏
