I used to hate the place, but now it's actually one of my favorite areas. It's such a pretty area, and it has some interesting platforming with the conveyors.
SPOILER ALERT: There's actually 2 benches, but only one of them is free and open to sit in when you enter Crystal Peak from the bottom of the Forbidden Crossroads using the lumafly lantern instead of using the desolate dive ability from the top where you first meet the famous cute and one of the best NPCs ever Myla! She actually kinda reminds me of that painfully cheerful melancholy blue star character in that new Super Mario Bros 3-D movie that came out last summer.

Just got Crystal Heart today, but every time I die I respawn in the tram because of the bug on that bench
There's a bench near the bottom of the area (past the dark room where it connects to the Forgotten Crossroads)
