Mine was too! But then I did it off of a dock, not cuz of this video, but just cuz, u have to push back really hard, and dont worry about back/belly flops, your over water. Lol. Hope u learn it soon!
mhm! same here, i got really scared!! this may not be helpful, but i started on my ladder in the deep-end where you get out, i do a back-hand - spring on that stair and get comfortable with it. (KEEP IN MIND KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN) Then i go onto the top stair, and do another back handspring with my eyes open until im used to it, then i go back to the 2nd to last and i try to do a backflip keep doing it until im used to it, then i do it on the top stair, once im used to it i go to the edge of my pool at the deep-end and do a back handspring. (if you get scared doing that call it a “backwards dive”) then send the handspring into the pool. good luck everyone!!
to learn a backflip into the pool, i used these simple steps i came up with do like a side wards dive from standing with my back from the pool progress into a full backwards dive just rotate a little more and make it a backflip *the last step is a lot easier than it sounds* just a tip so you don’t crack open your head, stand with half of your foot on the very edge and half of it just over the water and just spring back as far as you feel safe to
When I was 14 I did it first try without any guide just with imaging it, did it again and again until I eventually messed up and scratched my head on the wall when I was swimming on the surface, never did it since
This is the exact thing I was planning for the day, started looking for tutorials and was excited to see one by you. I'm gonna try a webster and a stalled cheat gainer in the pool today
I watch these type of videos seating on my couch and I feel really exited, full confident and there is a weird tickle in my head that says I can easily do it.😎😎 But once I am in swimming pool don't know why but whole bravery vanishes.😆😑😔

To do a backflip into a pool jus put your feet like half of the edge and then kinda slowly fall back and then jump out and then tuck and it’s pretty easy
I wish my backyard grass was soft as yours
I wish tooooooooooooo oh my G
Then just dont mow it🤣🤣
All it is, is good lawn care

My worst fear is smacking my face against the edge of a pool.

Hi I love ur vids and the inspired me to flip
Thank you so much it took me a month but I finally got it
Greta job man. Im 26 years old and jist now starting thia journey. Ive always been scared to fuck my back up but now im gonna master this
You've helped me with my flipping progress so much like I can do a backflip into a pool now without under-rotating
I can backflip into a pool and on a trampoline but I’m scared to do it on ground. Do you think I’m good to try a backflip on a mattress?
You should do it off something before you do it right on ground
For example, stack mats on top of each other
Joshua Nyffeler So you mean, jump off the mats onto the mattress?
Joshua Nyffeler Also, isn’t it better to jump up? If I did that, wouldn’t I have to jump back? Like if I was at a pool? Thanks for feedback
Justin Jenks you can jump up and because it is a mat it doesn‘t matter when you land on the edge (when the mat is certainly soft)
Can you do a palmflip tutorial?
How I learned is gust practicing backflips on a flat surface in the pool at the deep end and got used to it then I send it
This Might actually work!
Winter here in Australia pretty cold
