why? they have self healing wraps that last 10+ years. Easy to maintain and still cheaper than a great paintjob. I've had bad experiences with paint shops even when I paid alot of money.
Thank you! Absolutely I’m just waiting for the warranty to go before I do any more power just because with all the electrical screen glitches, I want to have that warranty.
My mk8 is stage 2 with a full milltek exhaust (downpipe and catback). I went to the dealer for an error that kept popping up on the dash and they didn’t even mention the mods. I even had a check engine light 😂
looks great so far. ive got a 22 moonstone se and waiting to install my downpipe, intercooler and pmax turbo so i can be stage 3. Def going to be getting those alzor wheels they look so good.
Yours is unique! Love that color! What color was it off the lot? I’ve got a 2023 40th Anniversary Edition in the color I wanted (pomelo yellow), so just PPF for me instead of a wrap. I’m just keeping mine stock. Had it for 1 1/2 years now, 6,800 miles, no issues, just pure fun! Thanks for sharing!
Spoiler..big 👍 But just 1 thing research before you spend! Avoid products that will experience constant load duties (only OEM or better) especially for prefab aesthetic stuff for 50-60% less than shop $ (that wing is sik, but is it worth 2 full lip kits+1 Spoiler?! Enjoy the ride 🤘
i will never pay 3,000 or 4,000 for a wrap.

@@elgoogkcuf in a $500,000 car maybe.
@@andresmattos7541 i get what your puttin down
@@andresmattos7541 you should see how much ppf goes for in Massachusetts. $4000 isn’t all that bad for a good wrap.
NICE MK8!!! One thing to note actually Audi did release an 18in Rotor Wheel from a 2012 A3, that's where I got mine for my MK7.5 GTI.
Thank you! Interesting I didnt know that!
Loving the ruby star, good choice.
Good looking ride so far Shep! Any plans to throw a tune on this bad boy? I think you’d love the added power and personality!

Does the hood prop rub against the coolant hose? Ive read online there was an issue with it
Nope, another anymore. Just have to adjust the hose down more then its all set!
@@ShepsGarage good to know, thanks bro
Ofc man anytime!

Thank you! Oh very nice. Yes i highly recommend these.
Cost. Not costed. Who did your tint?
Beautiful gti ..How many miles on it now?
Thank you! 23,500mi on it currently
@@ShepsGarage strong 💪 its reliable car..beautiful color i like it
any reason you did not get the spoiler wrapped around the edges? it would look a lot cleaner, more like how its paint matched on golf Rs
Good question, me personally I think it looks better top have the base color matched and the actual wing part black.

You got a discount (yay!) & then did that wrap...dude...were you high?!?lol
$750 installation & alignment!..dude
If the car is 300k.yes go ahead buy a 5,000 wrap but paying more than 4,000 for this car is just not justifiably correct. 😮😮
I plan to keep this car forever so I have no problem spending all this money on it. I love it to much.
@@ShepsGarage i see that makes sense then
That’s the going rate in MA. I have a mark VIII r and was quoted $5k for full front ppf and ceramic coating.
My take away is... stupidity is expensive
