Pretty good,l like Tedeski and Trucks ,nothing beats walking blues in the late 80s G.D. live.Absoulutely some of the most smoking DEAD shows ever,Bobby l respect and give you credit for playing all these years .Love you all!,🌹🌹🌹💀🌹💀

Best groove I've ever heard for Walkin' Blues.
then u dont know mutch
Love how Bob gives the drummers the right backbeat...turns it around...
Happy Birthday #susantedeschi! Keep on rock in’ and many more to you and your family
Bob has become a living legend. I guess I gotta apologize for making fun of those shorty shorts back in the 80's 🤭
The Ace was sexy in the 80's in his shorty shorts, and he's sexier now, in the best shape of his life, he is a silver stone cold FOX 🦊 for the LoVe of BoB!
In the 80s his main interest was turning on girls. Did make him look like a bit of a poser. But he has come a long way since.
The magical esoteric knowledge Bob has could fill a corridor in the halls of eternity, he is elementally sublime, he is perfect Sound personified. Oh my BoB💓
yeah but he's always been a bit crap at singing
@@rufuspennypacker1893 all said n done mediocre compared to Jerry's extreme talent and how he genuinely cared about the music. However this is great.
One of the great Blues songs. TTB and Bob. It doesn't get better.
When I woke up that morning I was still trippin is the shocking truth. A Ten strip sent me exploring with them walking blues! I searched for outside the tent for my shoes, got to the stage and saw bobs mustache also had those walking blues.
For as hyped up tucks is props to Jerry cuz his solo over this song was euphoric. Tucks is too much bluesy, he's not silly enough ✌🏽
Wow, this nails the essence of the dead pretty much in 1 word. Now that euphoria was gone by 1980 - whatever problems there were with Donna/Keith they helped keeping those hippie good vibes, Brent was not exactly better for the vibe of GD. I guess its all unavoidably more correct today.
@@steinbauge4591 1989 new minglewood blues 7/4/1989 was euphoric. 1980-1985 was a dark period for the band.
@@jerry-st7rc check it out, I like 89/some of the 90s. Yes of course there was good stuff ahead still.
@@jerry-st7rc Fantastic show, there's even a great audience recording - but they don't play Minglewood ;)
I’ve seen them in concert Evansville ind, Memphis in may Nashville. Back then Susan didn’t play wow girl you have really come along way. I’m mean you got Derick to great job bob
Yes Suh! Hand me them damn shoes!!!
Sweet
Definitely, top of his game
Soothing
Next dead and co
oh la la
Wowowowowowow!!
Bobby is getting a lil more controlling in his old age
Improvise while not high lol no just noo
Not sure why Bob felt the need to change the rhythm.
I know. I think the band was a lil surprised by that. Ole Bobby's used to calling the shots, I guess.
Cause he's been mistreated and he doesn't mind dying, oh yeah and he controls the weather too.
because bob weir is the god damn king lol
Oh yeah, and because it worked!
I've heard Bobby talk about this. He says that each time he plays a song it evolves as a new creature and it manifests itself however it must. I agree it seemed to take the band by surprise and happened just in time for Susan's verse. But Susan delivered the vocals in a way that pleased the creature the song had become.
Bob showing how to inject individual character into blues vocals. Derek's ol' lady needs to learn this so she doesn't sound so obviously derivative.
I'm sorry, I'm sure Bob Weir is a wonderful musician in his own right but you are out of it if you insult the quality of musicianship that Susan Tedeschi or the rest of this band has, especially over Bob Weir.
@@roderickbalt8993
Learn to read.
I said Derek's ol' lady.
@@jackstarr4726 Oh no I read you alright, but you must mean Susan Tedeschi, Derek's wife. And I corrected you, what you called Bob's individuality is simply lack of skill, and what you call derivative is simply called great singing.
@@roderickbalt8993
You don't know music.
I can sing much better than Susan without even trying.
Derek's music is FAR better when she's not involved.
Bob Weir is beyond the comprehension of anything you could imagine.
@@jackstarr4726 Looks like we've got two different outlooks on music, which is ok, but I'm simply astounded that you would have such disrespect for such a loving and wonderful artist such as Susan Tedeschi, especially as a music lover!! All the best
meh not as good as I hoped
No white man can sound like a black man. Its a nasal thing. But nice try. What this group needs is more energy. It needs that raw driving sound and if you've ever heard it you know exactly what I mean.
When I first heard Janis sing piece o my heart, I thought, who is this black kid sing in this song .
Louder bass
