The guy at the Verizon store recommended this when I went in to get a SIM card for my Peplink router. It’s not technically meant for nomad living, but it’s been working great my first night. I’m paying $35/month and getting 150mb+ speeds even while moving. I’ll still be getting a second data plan for redundancy, but zero complaints so far. And by the way, I got into this mess when Starlink decided to start throttling customers with the RV plan. I’m in the middle of a job search and can’t really afford dropped Zoom calls.
How's that Verizon do in a cellular dead zone? That's the benefit of Starlink. My I'm posting this on my Starlink which has obstructions and still works like a champ. Cellular dead zone. Streaming HD with no buffering. WiFi calling too. I didn't think it would even work with the little open sky I have. Extremely impressed.
As a authorize Verizon dealer. Thank you for this video. The RV world keeps speaking on starlink when they need to go with Verizon. If you have a problem with it just use a different address and you'll get it because it's portable.
I took it 3 hours away last week. I didn’t change my address at all with Verizon and it worked flawlessly at my camp site. I lost my iPhone in the ocean, Verizon helped me do my insurance claim and I got a new phone the day before I left… phone has 320gb in the cloud back up and I didn’t want it sucking up my “unlimited” data lol so I plugged the Wi-Fi up in my truck on the 3 hour drive back, it worked flawlessly downloading my back up from the cloud.
Honestly I wish I could get this Verizon keeps telling me my address isn’t eligible because I’m in a rural area and only satellite service available which sucks
They both have their purposes. I use Starlink where there is NO Verizon tower, such as Death Valley. When back on the grid, I use Verizon.

Nice brother! Glad to hear it’s working out for you!
It works really well for RVing, Verizon rep told me that you can travel with it. If you have Verizon already and are a veteran it's about $21.

There’s gotta be internal settings to fine tune it. Double check it’s turned all the way up!
I’m an IT guy by trade lol I checked everything… and there were others having this issue I’ve talked to along the east coast

Verizon doesn't work in the middle of nowhere, pretty pointless for an rv.

Pretty good deal there! Do you plan on doing the starlink speed test in the next video??
Yes, will upload tonight or tomorrow
Can you travel with it?
I’ve gone all over the state of SC with it and had no issues
@@BigCountrysWay ok. I'm a truck driver and drive all over the country was just wondering. Thanks for the reply.
@@townsey101 just remember, it only works where Verizon works. So there will be some spotty areas. Can’t help that 🤷🏻♂️
@@BigCountrysWay I ordered it. Do I have to be at the address to register it
@@townsey101 negative. I hooked it up at the Verizon store in my truck and it worked great right then and there
this is not available in my area
