I’m getting ready to go out on the road and have been worried about what to do. Thank you for this video! It really helped take the stress off because I didn’t want to get starlink due to the cost.
The good news is that we have options. Learning more as we go...the last 3 spots we have been in Mn and ND ATT 4G has been better than the 5G T mobile. Its all about how you travel where you travel and how much you need connectivity. Thanks for watching.
Ken: thanks for the info. Outfitted our 385FL yesterday with the T-Mobile 5G Gateway. At our home base which is a 5G fringe area, it works well. Looking forward to seeing it in action on the road to the Alliance National Rally.
Awesome. It has worked well for us for many miles on the road. Look us up at the rally. We will be there.
Hey Ken don't worry the scruffy look goes with the rock music your just playing the rock star roll!! Thanks for the video if anything it opened us up to doing more research everyone has been so pushing and doing videos on starlink and we are not full time yet but going on several long trips and found that to be a spendy option along with a few other options. We are Verizon but we are now looking at some possible options. Thanks for the ideas and being reasonable on what is cost efficient!!
I think Verizon has a similar offering. Starlink is awesome if you are boondocking a lot IMO. T Mobile is working well for us. And yes so did shave. Haha.
Great Review and Info. Many thanks.
Thank you and glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching and commenting.
good information Ken, thanks.
Thanks for watching....glad it can be of help!!
Good info Ken. I’m going to definitely look into it.
Glad you shaved before dinner😎
Haha Thanks. Its working well here in Reddick, so imagine Ocala proper would be even better,
First, you rocking out was great!! You gave us some really good info to consider. We're not very tech savvy either, which makes choosing the right internet for us a little difficult.
Lots of good choices these days. Just depends on how and where you camp/travel to, what your budget is, bandwidth you need etc. We just felt this was ano briner to try and so far its worked quite well.
We got in on the $25 for life promotion. I got it just as a backup to our cable which goes out often due to trees falling and taking out cable (heavily wooded area). You can get a D-Link multi WAN router for about $50 which automatically shares traffic between multiple internets or uses them as backup when the primary fails. I'm on the edge of T-Mobile coverage but I get 400 megabit speeds during slack hours.
We do love our T Mobile. There have been some times where it has not worked well but for the most it has. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I have my heavy metal moments too! Thanks for the info.
Haha. I am a drummer...si yes need a little har rock Therapy occasionally. Thanks for watching
Thank you SO MUCH Ken ! We got one for the house and it bumped from 3mb to 125mb 😂 live in a rural area and had no other options. Can’t wait to take it on the road. Hope to cross paths again . Greg & Kris (Tropic UT RV park)
Awesome. It’s not perfect but so far it has worked well for us.
We we watched this last night and ordered up our T-mobile today! Thanks
Awesome. Let us know how you like it!!
We have T-Mobile. A couple of years ago, we went to their T9 solution when it first came out. I think we have a 100G's for $50/month. We were just talking about the T-Mobile home solution last week as an upgrade and costs savings by dropping our ATT home internet for $80. I'll be swinging by their office tomorrow to verify availability and true speeds. Great video as always.
Rock on RoadSmiths!
I hope they keep their plan the way it is....very affordable and its been reliable. Just the one location where we did not have coverage. Was kind of a rockin' song...have to admit. Haha. Thanks Pete.
@@TheRoadSMITHS Yes, very upbeat and Rockin' indeed.
Terrific info. Thanks, Ally!
Thanks. It’s worked well for us. Are you an Ally as well?
@@TheRoadSMITHS Yes we are...2 years fulltime in our Paradigm. Headed to the rally!
@@randallgriffith6416 we will be there as well! Thanks for watching! Hopefully, we can meet there!
Excellent video my friend! I've also been with At&t since they were Bell South & the same phone number. I still have my unlimited plan with the HBO Max & I think 50 gb HotSpot🤔. But I'm a trucker & getting ready to get back out there & I watch this guy that pulls tanker & he has the T-Mobile home WiFi in his truck & he loves it! He said the same thing you said that only one or two times he was waaaay out in the boonies & couldn't get a good signal. But other than that it's be great! And he runs all over the country. So I just wanted to get a second opinion from someone that travels something like a OTR truck driver & your video was excellent! I thank you sir & you & the better half have safe travels & happy holidays 👍🏿✌🏿
Thank you and glad the video was helpful. We have been very happy with the service.
Thanks appreciate the info!!
Hoping it gave you some ideas about what might work for you! Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and comment! 😊
We got it and love it. Good info.
Awesome,,,its good, fast simple and cost effective for sure!!
Hey guys!! We have T-Mobile internet as well! Great info!
Thanks....works well so far..just that one spot where it did not.
I got the T-Mobile Gateway and took it on my 1st camping 100 miles from home and it worked great. I always hated getting to a campsite and had to setup up my wifi router to the RV parks wifi network. It was slow and time consuming. With the T-Mobile Gateway all you have to do is plug it into power and within a couple minutes you are up and running, no conjuration, all my phones, laptop and TV/Firestick are connected with fast download speed. Since I was already a t-Mobile customer with my 2 iPhones the Gateway was only $30 per month and I was able to talk them into giving me a $150 rebate card so that makes my monthly cost only $20 per month for the 1st 15 months. I'm a happy camper.
Thats awesome. We have been very happy with the service. There have been a few places where the 4G ATT was better, but only about 5% of the time. We have only had to use a campground wifi once and while better than nothing, it was not much better than nothing. Haha. Thanks for watching!!
We're using it too! First time was at Margaritaville!
Awesome...I think you will like it. I heard there were a lot of first time things at Margariaville. Haha. Like someone ( and we know who your are) putting a loofah on our hitch. haha.
Great head banging. Lol. I'm setting up a quality 4g service soon. Starting with that wineguard 360+ on the roof.
To be honest we are not all all happy with our Winegard. It loses connectivity often and we have to re-boot it about once a day when we are using it versus our T-Mobile. We use the Winegrad and the 4G as a backup but we are pretty close to decommissioning it.
Purchased Nomad. After 3 weeks of not receiving it we cancelled. Purchased T-Mobile. It is lightning FAST!!! Faster than my fiber optic at home. Have taken it out once so far into the mountains. Worked flaulessly!!!
That stinks about Nomad but great about T-Mobile. When we did this video, we had no experience nor had we yet heard of all the issues with Nomad. Gald its working well for you!!
Nomad is a scam. They have no legal contract with carriers. There are being sued, and the owner is a con artist. Notice the website has no carrier logos? Exactly. The carriers are now finding processes to stop companies like this. There are all sorts of new services coming up reselling nomad services now. If they don't have the carrier logos, they are not legit. There's a reason why no mad customers just have their service shut off randomly. The carriers are starting to figure it out. Do your own searches in your own research. This is not bullshit nomads a scam.
We've been out for about a month now. I have a Zte hotspot with a 4G T-mobile sim card and a small MIMO anttena (sticks on the window). We have T-mobile phones also. I have a Moxie hotspot from FMCA on AT&T too. Yesterday we had 12Mbs AT&T connection for the first time. Previously the max we saw was less than 5 and sometimes that was "NO SERVICE". Our travels started near Atlanta and took us north into PA, and NY mountains. I recognize that we were in some pretty remote locations but our stay at the Finger Lakes area of NY should have had good coverage, but it was marginal. T-mobile is definitely a lot better than AT&T. Granted the Moxie didn't work for the first few days and I called support and they discovered that my unit was stuck updating the firmware and they cleared that up. We are in an area where we can get the T-mobile home unit, so when we get back, I'll pick one up and see how it compares. I'll probably keep the hotspot for a while since but if the home unit works OK I'll cancel the hotspot. I'll try to work with FMCA to see if I can improve the AT&T connection 'cause we need an alternative. The Moxie doesn't work well from home, and we live just outside of Atlanta so I think we should have coverage. I checked the maps a number of times and AT&T claimed 4G coverage in areas where we had no service. That's my story.
We spend a couple of months in the spring/summer on the road, a few partial weeks at nearby GA state parks and a couple of months in winter in FL. So I guess we are considered active part timers.
Jim.
Definitely need multiple options. The T Mobile has been good but oddly enough through North Dakota and rural eastern Montana now the 4g ATT with our wingard has been better, but that’s not saying much. Haha. I wish the winegard 5g gateway was more reasonable but it would be $999 for the new Gateway and then would have to also replace our roof WG 360 antenna. Not worth it. Let us know how the T Mobile works for you after you put it through its paces. Thanks for watching.
This is such a great help! Keep it up guys, shaven or not! LOL :)
Thanks...glad we could help. Yes, my face feels better shaven...and Pam likes me better that way as well. Haha
It would have been nice to see an example of you using the internet 🛜 with the device. As they say, a video is worth a million words! Just a suggestion!
The beginning of the video shows a speedtest of the T Mobile at the location we were at when we shot his video. That is a more qualitative representation of the speed IMO. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Hey scruffy guy! We have had the T-Mobile Home Internet since I believe, May 22' and we love it! Ruskin, FL was a bit of a challenge but for the most part, this device works virtually everywhere and we use it on two MacBooks, streaming TV (Roku), two phones, and a tablet. We did switch our phones over to T-Mobile back when we first met Chris and Katrina in Conroe, TX, and have been quite happy with our service. I think T-Mobile probably has better coverage now since the Sprint merger. I refuse to do the Starlink as it is way too expensive for hardware, monthly service, and limited depending on your location (trees). We do have two Mifi jetpacks (Verizon and T-Mobile) as a backup or to carry with us in the truck.
have to sport a a little "man scruff" occasionally. Haha. We have been happy with it, hence the video. We would do Starlink if we boondocked extensively in remote areas and i that case it might pay for itself by usiing what we would have paid for a months RV park to buy the equipment. Not sure if you can pause the service and restart as needed.
Appreciate your input on the tech! Like how your coveted what you use and why. Happy travels out there.
Thanks for watching and the compliment...I thought showing the data would make it more informative.
We switched from Veriozon to T Mobile last year with 5G phones and we are VERY happy. We have the T Mobile home internet and we use it for streaming all our TV and have been very happy with it. Also as T Mobile customers we get Netflix and several other freebies. As fulltime RVers it has been the best internet option for us. We are taking our modem with us as we travel like you said when we spend the summer in Utah workamping. Great video!
Thanks We have had great success with it. I hope T Mobile keeps this "home" internet roaming capable. Not sure it was by design but they expanded their market form just home user to Nomads as well. We are looking at switching out our phones as well.
Workamping is something that Tina and I may do as we plan to retire. Looking into options, locations, etc. UTAH.. Oh man, what a great place to do that! MIGHTY 5!!!
@@RVWagginTails we were weekend campers and started following fulltime blogs when we were still working in corporate America. We went fulltime in 2015. We love it out west, we attended Sturgis in 1999 so we have spent 5 summers workamping in the Black Hills of South Dakota, now we are onto Utah. We no longer have a motorcycle, we have a Honda Pioneer side by side. This is our social activity now and we love it. We workamp for 6 months and relax for 6 months and cruise. Retirement this way is an awesome life!
@@susananderson618 Not wishing my life away, but... MAN, cannot wait!
how did you find an acceptable address for t mobil? i am having trouble in southern oregon finding an address that t mobil will allow service at. the 5g gateway is ideal for my rural property.
We love our T-Mobile internet. Combined with Starlink and our ATT phones/hotspots we do pretty good on the road
Man..you guys have all the options covered. :-) If we start boondocking in really remote places for a long period of time we would definitely add starlink.
I have the T-mobile home internet and I love it, but I will taking it with me when I start my Van Life soon!!
Oh, so very exciting for you!! I’m sure you can hardly wait! T-Mobile has been fantastic for us while on the road! I hope your new journey is filled with adventure and joy! Stay safe and thank you for watching!!
@@TheRoadSMITHSyes I’m very excited!! I will start my video journey at the same time, I will be sure to tag you as well, just for input! 🚐
Excellent video! Does the T-Mobile home internet box allow for an external antenna connection so if you had an antenna on the roof you could hook it up for a little better reception?
I dont think it does. It has 2 lan connections, a USB ( for updates I guess) and a UPS input. At least the router we have, they do have 2 router boxes. That being said, our antenna on the roof ( Winegard0 may not support it.
Thank you for the information, Ken. I am wondering if you know what is the difference between this product and the T-Mobile Hot Spot?
Not sure how T Mobile does it, but most hot spots are limited in monthly download allotment and there is a monthly equipment charge. With the home internet there is currently neither.
Great overview. Have you been able to use it while in motion? Do you have to report change in locations or just turn it on?
Thanks for watching and commenting!! Not we dont have to report it, we just power it up when we get to where we are going. We have a Winegard 4G gateway that is on when we are moving so we can use that if need be while underway.
We've loved ours for 2 years, don't know what we're going to do with the upcoming changes
I know..we are in the same boat. I don't think they know what the impact is going to be if they indeed make this change. Instead of gaining $50- $110 more a month from every RVer that uses it, they will lose the $50 a month form 90% that do.
We have used t-mobile internet in the rv for almost a year now. We love it. The price is great and it works most places. Lynn and Danny
I just hope they keep this service in place. Only had 1 location where it did not work.
@@TheRoadSMITHS us too.
Thanks so much for watching 😉
We were told if we're in a location with little to no cell service the TMobile Home Internet won't work. Any experience with that you can discuss?
@@AdventuresOverStuff We have only been in two locations where we had no service. Nothing worked in Either of these places.
Do you have any suggestions for an exterior signal booster?
Sorry I do not since we do not use one. I know many people have used weboost in the past but have no experience with it.
You know, Han Solo was "scruffy looking"! Good information. We've considered the same even before going "PART TIME" RVing.
So are you saying I might have a career in Hollywood? Haha...this is a good option for part timers as well. If you have this service at home and then can take it when you travel, you are only paying for 1 service.
@@TheRoadSMITHS Do you have to call T Mobile prior to moving or as you arrive at your new site?
Hi Ken and fam!
Can you please share the speed are you getting most of the time with T-Mobile?
We have Winegard 4G with ATT and is not bad but sometimes is very VERY slow. I tried few weeks ago with a SimCard from T-Mobile and didn’t work at all either. That Winegard 5G system for almost $1,500 is way too expensive.
We work sometimes from our RV my kids use the TV to watch their cartoons and movies (Netflix) and at night they play with their iPads. So, I’m just wondering how’s the speed with
T-Mobile home.. thanks for your great info and video! Just subscribed! Cheers! 🙏🏼🤙🏼
Since we move a lot, it varies. We have seen well over 200Mbps according to the Speedtest app at times and even took a snapshot of one tie over 500Mbps. Not sure how accurate it was...but 95% of the time it exceed the WG 4G. My frustration with the Winegard is that I would have to sometimes re-boot it once or more a day because it just stopped. We are currently 20 miles south of Polson Mt and are getting 40Mbs with T Mobile and 12Mbs with WG 4G ( ATT). With T-Mobil, there is ( at least when we started) no contract and no HW purchase require ( they provide the router) and you have a 15 day free trial period. Good Luck...thanks for watching and commenting.
@@TheRoadSMITHS that speed is GREAT compared to Winegard. We do state parks most of the time (don’t like those rv resort 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️) so we have a lot of trees around. I re-boot my Winegard a lot too (2 times per day). I called T-Mobile few months ago, and they told me that is not for traveling purposes. Do you have a business plan or this is something that they change recently? Thank you! 🤙🏼
Sorry just responding back. No business plan just standard. Its my guess they will geofence at some point...but for nowI am glad to pay them $50 a month for great service.
@@TheRoadSMITHS I read yesterday somewhere that T-Mobile is planing to allow the people to take the home internet anywhere. If they do that, that will be great! I’m going to try it! Thank you for all the info. Be safe! Cheers! 🙏🏼🤙🏼
The problem is being in the right area. The address I was going to used was a suburb of Atlanta and T-Mobile says they didn't support it although t mobile telephone service is excellent in the area.
Hmm not sure how that would be unless they just don’t have 5G there yet. Thanks for watching!!
I just learned that T-Mobile is planning to geo-lock these routers. As they require an available tower at your residence before you can order one, that makes sense since you are basically married to your tower and each tower only has a finite amount of slots. I recommend calling T-Mobile, because I learned all this in a short phone call. We have T-Mobile service on our iPhones and a pretty big data package but phones are lower power than other devices that you don’t put by your brain. There is as of today a 14 day trial period. You need a qualified address. There is also a 100GB data plan called “Lite”. We decided to grab a TravlXL router and buy a 5g SIM.
Thanks for the info. I really hope to Wy don’t do that on these units since it’s such an awesome service. But I had a feeling they would lock this down over time. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The wife and I are considering this T mobile service. We are not full timers but do travel a lot in our motorhome. After looking into this setup it specifically says for fixed use only and the way I read it, it’s violating the t&c’s if used in this manner. What are your thoughts on it?
We have not had an issue. When I first contracted with them I told them I’d would be moving around and they had no issue with that.
Was also told the same thing. For use only at your home address. Another youtuber pointed out the fine print that they can stop signal.
We use ours for all internet stuff, and have found no one else that comes close at the price.
No sir! Happy spouse, happy house. Both deserve to be happy
You are absolutely correct! The happiness always goes both ways. Thanks for watching 😊
We tried the T-Mobile Internet with our RV and it didn’t work. We tried it across the line in New York State at a campground where it showed on their map that they had full coverage and it wouldn’t work and they said sometimes those maps aren’t quite so accurate, and then we tried it againat at campground here in Pennsylvania and again the map showed that they had coverage but it didn’t work again, so after the second month I canceled it.
Sorry just responding now. We were off grid for a few days. I think like any carrier they have areas where the coverage is not good. We had a few of those places across the country. In fact in March we were in the Panhandle of Florida and for 2 of the weeks it was fine then they had a fiber cut and it took almost 2 weeks to resolve.
Can you use the service while moving or is it just while stationary? Thanks for the video, Sssssssuper helpful.
Thanks for watching and glad it was helpful. We have not tried to use it while actually moving. I would imagine it would be fine other than securing the router while moving. We do have the winegard 4g on the roof and we can use that while moving.
@@TheRoadSMITHS I just ordered one and I’ll let you know as I’m headed on along trip.
Awesome. Let us know how it works for you!!
@@Hannblumendid it work ?
We have T mobile for our phones. This sounds like it will be our internet once we go full time. Thanks for the review! Also, after deciding on a few different RV's as our full time choice, it looks like the Paradigm 340RL will be our rig.
Awesome choice on the rig....340RL is very nice,. We know several people that have that model. If we upgraded, thats what we would likely choose. T Mobile has worked well for us with the exception of one location. Thanks for watching!!
Where do you get the sim cards you use?
We got the SIM card for the Winegard from ATT directly. The T Mobile router does not need a SIM card. Thanks for watching.
how do yall full timers find an acceptable t mobil address? I have rural property in southern oregon. The gateway will be a perfect setup for my property. being you can add external antennas to it. the lady in the t mobil store told me i just need an acceptable address. but the trick is finding one. ive randomly tried several oregon addresses. none have been accepted.
Have you looked at their 5G service map? www.google.com/search?rlz=1CDGOYI_enUS696US696&hl=en-US&sxsrf=APwXEdcvydr21T6VnflIPJly1I3h68AsrA:1685587122602&q=t+mobile.service+area+map&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwilz7ithaH_AhW7kokEHdcFCAwQ0pQJegQIChAB#imgrc=HwQYqsQr9FI21M
If you choose to go with the T-Mobile, is the only thing you need is that tower?
They have 2 types of routers. We have the Nokia round tower. There is another one, rectangle box that I can’t recall the vendor. I have heard from
several people that the rectangle one has had issues. Not sure if they have been resolved. So far no issue with our Nokia one. Thanks for watching!!
I was in a T-Mobile corporate store yesterday. I said I wanted to buy Home Internet. They asked for my address and said they couldn’t sell it to me at our address because the tower next to us is closed to new customers because of the tower capacity. So I said that I was an RVer and I was going to install it into my rig and travel. To which the said emphatically, NO. That each unit is assigned to a home address and subsequently the tower associated with that address. So I left empty handed. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks for reaching out. Thats may be what they are told to say but I can tell you thats not how its worked for us. We started with in in Montana last year then took it to Colorado, Utah...back through Texas to Florida back to Texas, Up to Indiana, back to Montana, then Idaho, and now Washington State and its worked just fine in all but a few places, not because it did not work, jut that cell coverage was spotty for it and ATT. We have an address thats in T Mobile serving area so that worked for us.
@@TheRoadSMITHS yeah, if they would have let me have it I am sure we could have gotten similar results. But because their computer says it won’t work at our address they won’t even let us take it! The talking point whether accurate or not is that the tower closest to us is at capacity therefore we aren’t eligible for having one. BTW, we did get the Verizon router and it’s working great at our home. We will take it on the road soon and see what happens. When we got it, they also mentioned that they had a limited supply for our area/tower. I’m guessing everyone switching over to the C-band frequencies are having some capacity issues is areas of high population where Xfinity was alway the only choice for high speed internet.
That’s funny because they did the opposite with me. Said it wasn’t available at my address but let me take the gateway home anyway. Said try it out and if it works then I can pay for the service. Of course it works fine.
I'am Your Newest Subscriber I Have T-mobile Phone Service And Home Internet The Home Internet Is Fast And Slow They Said The Tower Is 2 Blocks Away From My House In Clearwater Florida Their Is 2nd And 3rd Tower Within Half A Miles. They Claim All 3 Are Getting Maintance Done To Towers. They Lies At the Store And Said The Home Wifi Box Can't Be Taken Out Of The Area I Wanta Take It In The Car And Run It Off A Inverter To Find Out . Friend Lives In Gulf Hammock Florida They Had That Old Grandfathered In AT&T Plan That They Were Using. . My T-mobil Home Wifi Gets Up To 275 Mbps Download And 100 Mbps Upload At My House
I think the terms of service state that it cant be moved but there is no geo fencing that I am aware of. A lot of RV'ers are using this now and IMO it would be foolish to start doing that since most of us would have to cancel.. Thanks for watching joining and commenting!
We have been using a Verizon hot spot for almost all of the 10 years we have been on the road with a grandfathered in truely unlimited 4g plan and have been very happy, and it's very cost effective compared to whats out there today. But we would sort of like to try this T Mobile 5g thing and compare the two as we travel. Maybe some day.
We too have a grandfathered data plan ( ATT) but our Winegard is only 4g and sometimes that is not fast enough. The Winegard 5G gateway id $999 plus would need a new 360 antenna, so not feasible. The T Mobile 5g has been great. But interestingly enough, we are in Northern Minnesota right now and the AtTT 4G is better and the T Mobile 5G in this spot. Thanks for watching.
Can the T-Mobile gateway be plugged into a 12 volt RV USB connection?
Not that I am aware of. There are routers, ours is the cylindrical Nokia while the newer ones are another vendors so not sure if that one does. We ony use it when stationary so we plug into our 110AC shore and/or inverter power. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I think the version I have can. I have the Arcadyan version. Not sure if you need some kind of adapter or not.

Started to sign up - chat person stated I could NOT move this from my home address 😢
I went to a local office and the person their said no issue moving it. The only catch was that you had to have an address for you or family that was in a T Mobile serving area. Do you have a store close by?
Thanks for the reply. I’ll check on a local store. My alternative is a peplink if this doesn’t work.
I think its one of those things that less information given to them is better. Although as I mentioned in the video, I sis mention this to the store salesperson and he had no issue with that. Of course there is no contract, and no equipment charge, so if you tried it and had an issue, simply return it. It has worked well for us.
The saying I go by is: "no wife, happy life". 😊
Haha. Well we have been happily married for 33 years so there is that. 😀Thanks for watching and commenting !!
Does anyone know what rock song that was? Thanks
We use Epidemic Sound with is a fee based Royalty free music source. The name of the song is called Speed Devil by an artist called Under Earth. Thanks for watching.
Thank you. I'm retired Army. Was Tank Commander on the M1 Abrams tank and we used to listen to heavy metal while Tanking. Lol. Never heard that song though.
@@johnthomas9141 I am a drummer...so good music and timing is important to me in making our videos. Since we have to use royalty free music in order to not infringe on copyrights, I was skeptical at the quality of music for this service...but...I love the music that they have to offer. Thanks for watching and thank you for your service!!
Love that comment!! We would love to do an episode on driving a tank 😂
Nomad customers in other UA-cam videos don't recommend it. They claim it is a bait and switch game to upsell customers to another higher priced product.
Understand...we made this video just weeks before the blow up at Nomad..and quite frankly did not know much about them other than what I researched at the time when we filmed this. Then it all blew up,,,and I was like....oh awesome...I just put out a video mentioning them, but of course not recommending them. Thanks for watching!!
Will this work if only 4 g is available
I do not believe so. As mentioned we had one location where T Mobile 5G would not work but our 4G ATT did, barely. This is where the Pep Wave and Nomad can be handy since they apparently have multiple sim cards and radios. If we had not already invested in the 4G Winegard, then maybe Pep Wave might have worked for us at least for cellular.
Had T mobile for 3 months on the road this year. Pretty crappy imo. You need to have Verizon, Tmobile and At&t going this route. T-mobile just doesn't have great country wide coverage.
Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Not sure there is any one thing rights now that's always great. T-Mobile has worked great for us almost everywhere we've been...there have been a few places (such as right not) that neither our AT&T or T-Mobile aren't working that great. For us though, adding T-Mobile has been the best solution. I agree, sometimes you need all 3 carriers depending on the places.
WGAS?
OK...not sure what you mean but I think I do. What am I missing?

We did this video before the negative information on Nomad was public by other You Tubers that were affiliated with them. We were and are not at all affiliated with Nomad.
I tried Nomad and found it unreliable, but worse, the customer service was just short of horrible!
We made this video about a month before the Nomad thing blew up. We had not idea and we certainly were not recommending it. Its a shame what they did to customers. Thanks for watching and commenting.
