I like how Present Mic, mostly a joke character, can have dark, serious moments as well. it really adds depth to the character and his relationship with Aizawa.

It goes more into Oboro's story in the Vigilantes side manga. I don't want to spoil anything because I'm not sure if they will ever make it into its own series, but I'm pretty sure Oboro had wanted to be the teacher or told Shota he'd be a good teacher right before he died.

This episode is actually the beginning of the arc of season 6 everyone's been telling you about. All I can say is, once you get there, you're in for a wild ride. It's basically peak my hero.

theres a growing theory as to why hes a different type of nomu compared to the rest and even the high ends and thats because that nomus are made from corpses and theres a chance oboro was still alive when he was made into a nomu, hence why hes so intelligent and seemed like and actually human
