When the jokester character becomes serious, you know shit’s getting real
Kurogiri's name, "kuro" means "black". Shirakumo's name, "shiro" means "white". To symbolise the contrast between those two personalities.
Also 'giri' means mist and 'kumo' means cloud if I'm not mistaken.
@@woolfiegamer2558 in this context the kanji used implies "Fog" and not just simple mist; Fog being kinda symbolic; A bright blue sky filled with fluffy white clouds instills hope and happiness, Whereas a Dark Night filled with fog instills a sense of unease and despair. Fog is also "Low lying clouds that cling to the ground" which is attesting to how Shirokumo's clouds have fallen low, and barely cling to the surface.
You know something’s wrong when Present Mic is stressed
Aizawa crying his heart out and trying to reaching out his old friend, only to discover that the friend -- who both admired and motivated to be an hero, is now reduced to a brainwashed living zombie.
That wa so dark and heartbreaking.
Kurogiri was captured back in season 4. Gran Torino was able to close the distance and knock him down before he could release what happened and open a warp gate. Then the big guy showed up. We also knew that Kurogiri had a physical body. Bakugo figured it out in season 1 and was able to target it, allowing him to pin him for a while.
This was a bit more tragic for manga reads, particularly if you read the Vigilantes spin off manga, which had a flash back arc to Aizawa's days in high school to introduce the guy and get a feel for his personality.
Shirakumo has been described as the Mirio friend for Aizawa.
This is my favorite episode. So much of what Aizawa does makes so much sense after learning about Shirakumo. And we've seen so many glimpses throughout the series. One of my favorite glimpses is back in season 3 when Bakugou accidentally sent some rubble falling towards All Might, Aizawa's face looks almost panicked because he went through that with Shirakumo. But there's also the talk he had with Deku, saying he would watch him during the Hessaikai Raid, and the talk he had with Uraraka when she was blaming herself about what happened with Nighteye where he told her she needed to think if this was really something she wanted to do.
And Mic in this episode! He went through what Aizawa did, but we see he's the type of person to bury his own feelings to take care of his friends. He immediately asked if Aizawa's eyes were ok after this. And before they went in, his trembling hand on Aizawa's shoulder telling him to calm down. His face in the car. I love Mic so much and he deserves more screen time.
Shirakumo was like mirio, president mic is like nejire, and aizawa is like amajiki!
And next episodes begin the My Villain Academia arc, let’s go!
I don’t care what anyone says, it’s still one of the best arcs in the anime.
@@scottvgamer1163 even better in the manga, uncensored & extended explanations on how much stronger the league of villains get (backstories too)
@@dngr6359 backstories for the league members (except Spinner) were pretty much the same in both versions. The censoring doesn't necessarily contribute to it not being as good as the manga version.
Wait a fricken minute…..that doctor in the ending looks like the doctor who told little Deku and his mom that Deku won’t have a quirk in the first season episode 1
Yeah wait a frrrricken minute
I'm very sure he is the same one. I guess Dabi mentioned his name during his meeting with Endeavor and Hawks. His "name" is Ujiko.
Should I say it? If it’s true?
Yup he’s the same
That doctor stole Little Izuku Quirk that why he is quirkrles ✌🏾🇵🇷
The doctor was already show before, Zamber. WAY, WAY, BACK... in episode one. 😏
Also the end of season 2
Also, his "name" was mentioned by Dabi during his meeting between Endeavor and Hawks. Dr. Ujiko.
@@rowquerpaz8265 Tsubasa, Ujiko, Garaki. The guy has so many aliases lol.
This makes me wonder if the Nomus we have seen over the course of the series can remember their past/are in control of their actions?
It's been said that the winged nomu from the stain arc went for deku because it was the winged kid who was following bakugo and making fun of deku when they were kids and that connection to deku was why he went after deku, so it's possible.
@@xmant8842 or the fact Shigaraki specifically ordered him to go after Deku
@@narutosraman that could be one reason, though I think when asked why the nomu went after deku horikoshi showed a picture of the kid with wings from the past as an answer
For better context please read My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Chapters 59 to 65. It is a flashback arc separate from the story. Those chapters of the spinoff manga (which is set in the past) were released before the Kurogiri revelation in the main series.
"woundn't say it is the darkest episode" nah Zamber just wait
Angst? Angst! Angst.
LMAO THE TRANSLATION
Deku: **gets an updrage**
Shigaraki: Hold my Father
It’s so sad, because the incident that killed Shirakumo was almost impossible to avoid. (I’m sure the exact reason will be touched on later.) But also because Shirakumo did what he had to in order to save a group of toddlers. Eraser and his quirk would not have been able to save them, but Shirakumo’s could.
To explain without spoiling the possible future stuff, Shirakumo has the quirk “Cloud” (his name is literally white cloud lol. Hero name was Loud Cloud. That’s why there was all the cloud imagery in the opening) Basically he could make this little cloud that he could ride on or have others ride on etc. (Think the rideable cloud from dragonball/legend of the monkey king) But only one from what we could tell. So when a ton of rubble was falling all over from a collapsing building and about to crush a ton of little kids while Shirakumo and Aizawa were patrolling, Shirakumo sent out his cloud to move the kids to safety, but in doing so, sacrificed his own cover and ended up getting hit straight in the head by a separate piece at the same exact time. Arguably, had he not saved the kids, he would have been able to save himself, but then all the little kids would have died. There was no good option there. Which is why I’m not too fond of Aizawa saying “devaluing themselves for the sake of empty justice”. There wasn’t any other option really.
Present Mic is one of those generally energetic and happy characters that it's really scary to see angry.
The training wheels of this show are off Zamber. This show takes a turn from here on out. It coddled us before….we’re going to see just how freaking terrifying this world is from here on out.
Let’s start with Aizawa. If he failed to get through to Kurogiri, it’d be even worse than Tsukauchi described. Not only would Shirakumo’s family be brought in, but Aizawa would have to STAY there and STILL have to use his quirk the whole conversation. As only his erasure is preventing him from warping away if he’s not sedated. (Which knowing Kurogiri is a Nomu actually eases me a bit in the ethics department.) Also it must be ABSURDLY painful to keep your eyes open for an entire several minute scene, WHILE crying through most of it. I can’t even imagine how much that sucked.
AFO attacks, manipulates, or maybe even just nonchalantly removes quirks he wants by simply walking down the street if his performance in the 2nd episode of this season is to be believed in how fast it happens. He must be a signature component in the Nomu making process. He can both take AND give quirks. The better question is how that operation continues WITHOUT AFO. Also Shigaraki has ALREADY been confirmed to be AFO’s successor. What has not been made clear is wtf that even means. We know Shigaraki was raised by AFO to hate All-Might and although he wasn’t targeted for being related to Nana, that was the cherry on top. But there are no real clues as to where that is leading or the process he’s going through. Other than he’s getting tortured for “unlimited power” by the doctor. The only clue the show has given us of what AFO wanted for Shigaraki is to find his conviction in season 2. Not give him one. But choose his own. So all that remains a wild card for now.
Also if Kurogiri is such a high functioning Nomu, and he’s considered a model that is not recent, are there OTHER successes like that. That needs to be posed from your logic of the other Nomus being unintelligent. And if they came AFTER Kurogiri, what UPSIDE is there to keep them so mindless. Because we don’t know when ANY of these Nomus were made or began their productions. So they may just be throwing the old leftovers.
All that for the last thing to talk about. OH MY GAWD URARAKA IS TOTES CUTE. Her keeping her present from Izuku close just makes my day and prevented me from being a COMPLETE sobby mess. (Hope he feels better after his skull got punctured.)
All aboooooard the pain train!
Aizawa is my favourite character and I love Mic too and damn this ep just made me cry for 20 minutes straight 😭😂
Literally saw this in my recommended and said out loud “oh, sadness”.
Knowing that my hero Academia Vigilantes or something I instantly got excited by the thumbnail
Aizawa my fucking beloved I wanna hug him so bad.
My brain when I saw the thumb nail as a manga reader oh no
the specifics of oboro's death is actually even more tragic, i really recommend checking out vigilantes!
The spin-off manga My Hero Academia: Vigilantes has an arc where it digs into Aizawa, Yamada (Mic) and Shirakumo's UA days (along with Nemuri (Midnight), who was the class above them; Shirakumo had a crush on her). It adds so much more weight to this reveal. 💔😭
👁❤📢☁️
What do you guys think of all mights jokes
Yep....shit gettin' real now
THIS EPISODE HURTS WAY MORE WHEN YOU READ MHA VIGILANTES THEY WERE SO FRIKIN CLOSE 😭
That was same doctor from season 1 ep1
We’re glad you’re back Zamber!
Glad to have you back Zamber
Yay I’m so glad your back I missed seeing your face on my fyp xx
@@IAmZamber I am screaming with excitement knowing you have just liked and replied to my comment… thank you 🥰😃
I hope your leg doesn’t hurt 😞, speedy revovery!!!
Great reaction!
Is it just me or can anyone else see that the shadow on All for One's face is a face?
The way Mic yells “Who would wanna take care of that gloomy little punk all day long?!”And then he looks at Aizawa and it cuts to Shirakumo initiating a friendship with Aizawa’s gloomy ass and always looking out for him.
It’s as funny and adorable as it is tragic and disturbing. They took his nurturing ‘bring the sunshine to the darkness’ nature and used it to their advantage. It creates a pretty nasty parallel between Aizawa and Shigaraki that you can bet your ass Aizawa hates.
Welp time for big sad
what an episode
I agree there is danger to hero work, people can die but also people get hurt and we have seen that in this series, with many heroes in the series, deku is a living example of how much heroes can go through and so are the rest of his class mates and eri and it’s painful as heck but their is a reality to hero work that is painful.
My villain academia is the best arc, easily
SHIRA-BABY-KUMO EPISODEEE
Get ready you're about to head into the deep zone
Can't wait for her to react to attack on titan
Edit:if she ever does pls react to attack on titan
I think she's reacted to it on her patroen but only a few episodes of the first season.
@@channelofnincha6139 wow just wow why I dont care if the episodes are completely on UA-cam but why only on patron saving the good ones for patron or what
Ehi, ZAmber, what if you react to That time I got reincarnated into a Slime
I'm skipping around, but how come the episodes have gotten shorter from season 4?
The MVA arc was very well done, but this was in my opinion the best episode the entire season.
Finally i can watch it on English
When are you going to post ur miraculous reaction today?
Ehehehe
mva yay
im the 900th
