I'm using the hbmp and it's difficult for me to follow because I HATE fish, and some of the meals use fish. I'm not real big on ground turkey either. And I dont mind eating bison but it's very expensive and hard to find in my local grocery store. So I feel like all I can really eat is chicken breast. Please tell me theres a way I can incorporate beef into the meal plans. I just feel so limited 😞

I just wanted to say that ever since following your meal plans and using your app, there's been a real mindset-shift in my life. My SW was 233 lbs and the last time I weighed myself I was 185 lbs. I feel so much more peace and confidence in making healthy choices and I see food so much differently. Not to mention, the workouts in the app really challenge me and I feel so much stronger! Thank you for sharing your story, you have had such an impact on mine. God bless!

Hi Katie! During the pandemic I worked out consistently and ate really well, but now that I am back at the office and have to leave my house at 6:30am for work (sometimes not getting home until after 8pm) it has been really difficult to maintain my workout schedule. Any advice for busy women/men to maintain a healthy lifestyle and workout schedule? Thanks!

Good for you on 10 years of keeping on track. Once you build those healthy habits, it gets easier every day and becomes a no-brainer eventually.

Hi Katie. I really appreciate you sharing this video and speaking your truth. Thank you for sharing your story as it adds a personal touch and a sense of vulnerability where we can relate. I am glad that I found out about your program a few months ago, as I have struggled with my own self-esteem and self confidence. It can be hard when people tell you that you are either ugly, fat, or incompetent, etc. it can be really painful when you are already having a challenging time loving yourself, only to have other people bring you down. So, I am so grateful that you created a program and community that don’t just focus on the physical health but also provide ways to support people with their mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. It is wonderful that you found your purpose as I feel the most rewarding and fulfilling work you can do is to help others. Congratulations on 10 years of an amazing journey and overcoming all those obstacles to be where you are at now. I strongly believe you will continue to reach more milestones and do great things. Again thank you for having such a big heart and for caring. All the best to you and your team!

Thank you Kathy, I so appreciate that and more importantly that you have found all the love and support of the LSF community. Others who try to tear you down are only doing so because of their own insecurities. I've found we have to feel empathy for those people and know they are doing it because they are hurting. It's not easy, but that knowledge does make it a lot easier to push past and do what you need for your body.

I understand the struggle with eating bad foods to make you feel better. Sneaking food from my loved ones is something I do on a daily basis. It's soo hard every day to do the right things for your body. I have the support from my husband, but I don't have the support from myself. It seems like something that is so far from being obtainable, or just impossible. I have said each week that this is the week that things are gonna change, then I fall off of track. These videos are an inspiration. Thanks for being such a beautiful woman both inside and out.

Its the same way with the keto diet. Some people dont care if its a healthy food, what mattered to them was choosing carb vs carb. Choosing a carb thats 2g per serving vs something much healthier carb foods like broccoli which is 12g of carbs per cup but they prefer the packaged non veggie food because it was 2g of carbs.
Im currently on keto for the passed 2 months, working so well but if i choose the broccoli vs the packaged foods because its a healthier choice, i dont mind that its 12g of carbs

Katie thank you for sharing. Since February, I have changed my eating habits, added walking everyday and lifting weights. Dx of Hoshimotos. I also need to lose 40 pounds. Still working to find the right synthroid dosage I have lost 10 from Feb to July. I am much stronger and starting to see some slight results (how clothes fit). I still feel I should be seeing more results. Maybe a video that explains intervals of how your body started to change and what kept you motivated. Your clothes fit, seeing definition, feeling stronger. Even the little things. When did people start to notice a change? Maybe a journal type of vlog?

I have only recently become aware that unhealthy relationships with food are 1. more than the eating orders we hear about, and 2. can be used as a way of selfharm. I always felt that I have normal eating habits because I'm not anorexic or overeating. But the truth is that sneaking food, swinging between starving and binging, and feeling guilty for enjoying food isn't normal. I realised that I need to find healthy habits that my body wants... So I am going to see a nutritionist soon, but struggling through exercises and saying "healthy, strong, toned" like you say in one of your videos help. It shifts my mind from "skinny" to health. I am strong. Stronger than most of my friends. But I am proud to say that!

It is so true what you are saying around 16th minute here. I got used to the great feeling the right foods can give me, thanks to the sugar detox and Hot Body Meal Plan, that now, when I went away for two weeks and couldn't eat what I wanted, I was missing chicken breast, spinach, broccoli and protein powder so much. Also, I could see more than ever before how change of diet back to less healthy food made me feel worse, more bloated, heavier on the stomach. Thank you for teaching me how to eat better. 💖💖💖

I don't mind cooking on my own but some tips on dealing with slight loneliness of cooking and dealing with unsupportive people would be great! Sorry for rambling and I hope this makes sense! I relate to this one a lot....I've never had to worry about my weight before, I was always so active and ate tons of junk and never gained weight but was never happy with myself. I always felt like I could've Been smaller or stronger. I never felt good enough. Now that I've gained weight since covid started I look back and think I'm crazy I didn't love myself. But now it's even worse, i was known for being really small and petite and I'm not anymore... I'm trying to learn self love and learn how to live a healthy life since I never needed to worry about my weight before. I know that just being skinny isn't going to make me happy, because I've been there and done that but I still wasn't happy. I started trying to be more healthy 2 years ago but had this huge set back because of covid and losing my business because of that and moving. So I took my new "before photos" and hoping I can get on track lose the weight I gained and finally feel good and start truely loving myself. Thank you for being such an inspiration!

Question...do you weigh more now have a lot less inches in bust, waist, and hips. My scale is not moving and I have actually gained 5 pounds...but I have lost inches. Will I eventually start to lose weight again? I do need to lose at least 25 pounds to be at a healthy weight...but I have list 57 pounds so far.

Congratulations on all your progress so far! That’s amazing! Yes, I weigh more now than I did when I first lost all the weight, but am smaller measurement wise at 130lbs than I was at like 124. That’s totally normal as you gain muscle and burn fat

Thank you! I have arthritis in both knees and really need knee replacements...no thank you! Losing the weight really has helped with that I am also hypo and I will be 59 in October! I average about 10,000 steps a day. Most exercises are hard because of my knees and a lot I have to modify to do them standing or like push ups off the wall or hip thrusts and butterfly kicks for abs laying on my large ottoman. I'm okay with planks but can't do regular burpbies ...i just do a plank walk out legs and walk back in stand and jump...or use your disks for the floor. I have a small trampoline that I use for jumping jacks and running pushes. Do you think you might consider doing a UA-cam video for an exercise plan adapted for someone like me ? 🤞keep inspiring!❤
