He didn’t play with feeling, he played with passion like his life fucking depended on it. He embodied the music. He became the music. Genetic: Delores Rhoads was a very small lady, < 5', who lived to 95.
Smoking: It was a different time. Smoking was fashionable and most celebrities smoked. Winston Churchill was a 5'6" chain smoker and lived to 90.
just a bunch of rock pentatonics over and over.. no "classical" anything.

Awesome video! Thank you, thank you for taking the time to put it together.
I'm thankful that I got to see him shred back in Jan 82 in Salt Lake while I was there for a month. A short time before his accident. A legend!
Randy sounds better live than in the studio… wtf…
Live here was having fun in the moment .......
Tonight, from DOAM, has not 1 but 2 of his best guitar solos!
I always was blown away by “Steal Away the Night” on the first LP
There are 3 guitarists that died young that the world really missed out on what else they could have given us because they were among the best EVER …. Jimi Hendrix, Terry Kath and Randy Rhoads. I got to see Randy with Ozzy once before he died and i was just mesmerized by how awesome he was live. It blows me away that the guy didn’t even wanna be a rock star and was thinking of quitting on Ozzy to get a degree in classical guitar. I think he was better than Eddie VH
Stevie Ray Vaughan
He will always be my favorite
Wow. Awesome. I've never seen that footage other than the AHs vid. Such a great guitarist. RIP RR.
