Dude...I'm a certified Rhoads fan boy. All of your solos here were great but your Revelation solo was other worldly. Truly, be proud man. Not many people can do that with that level of accuracy and fluidity. To say you nailed it is an understatement of enormous proportion.

I wouldnt say he nailed Mr Crowley, 3:34 the back to back riff is not done the same, the second part of that riff is supposed to hit a higher note. The riff at 3:54 is not exactly the same , some what close. They still sound good? Yes, they are awesome , but they are not identical to how Randy played. it. this is the riff im talking about ua-cam.com/video/G3LvhdFEOqs/v-deo.html at the 5 minute mark.

Randy didn't even want to get on that fucking plane either, he was such a good kid too, just truly dedicated to his craft, he wasn't in it for the partying or the rock star lifestyle, he was an insanely good classical guitarist as well.

I think the key to Randy's playing was how he could take a serious passage and manage to add a whimsical air to it. It is utterly stunning how naturally he did it
anybody that can nail down Randy's guitar parts is already much more talented than most people, awesome job! So cool to see just how great Randy's playing was, his creations were unique and very difficult.
Actually his parts are not difficult at all due to him haaving such tiny hands . There are no huge stretches of anything thats difficult for people who don't have big hands , it's just repeated patterns over and over. I bought the Tribute guitar book and found it much easier to follow than many other famous guitarists of that time.

As a player I was going to concerts in the 80s wanting to see how close the guitarist could come to playing live what they had recorded on their records. Being young I thought that was a measure of how good they were. I also wanted to learn their licks by watching them. To keep this short and not name them all. The second time I saw randy perform he did crazy train and Mr Crowley to near perfection. I thought I would have years of watching him play. You brought back some memories. That's a great video and really good playing. Nice flying V you got there.

Thank you for keeping Randy's music alive. You have obviously studied these solos down to the smallest detail, because your covers are as close as I've seen, and likely to see. Randy would be proud. I was fortunate to see Randy live with the original line up on the Blizzard of Ozz tour and also at one of the few UK venues for the Diary of a Madman tour. I was 14 at the time and I hope your passion for Randy's music lives on as mine has. All the best for the future.

Very good job my friend! I was in 10th grade in 1982 when Randy passed. I live in Glendale CA and at that time we all knew who Randy was because he lived in Burbank CA which is the neighboring city to Glendale. Randy studied classical guitar from Robert Vaught at Glendale Community College. Robert never wanted Randy to play heavy metal and at the time of his death, Randy was planning on returning to UCLA to continue his classical guitar studies and get his masters degree in music. This was on the advice from Robert Vaught. Unfortunately he was never able to do that. Years later in 93' and 94' I also studied classical guitar with Randy's teacher Robert Vaught. Robert is the one that taught Randy the majority of his classical music training especially music theory. Robert was a great player and teacher. I studied three semesters of classical guitar with Robert and then began to study privately with him. He rarely spoke of Randy and was extremely sad about what happened. I got the pleasure of asking him about Randy a few times. He said that Randy was the best student that he ever had! He loved Randy. I'm telling you this because you are a very good player and someone has to keep the flame alive! Randy's classical influence on his playing style is undeniable. It's great to see young players like you playing the amazing music of Randy Rhoads! Keep it up brother.

Where did you see Blizzard in UK? I saw them at Port Vale but was with Tommy Langridge and Rudy Sarzo not Daisley/Kerslake.

Very good job my friend! I was in 10th grade in 1982 when Randy passed. I live in Glendale CA and at that time we all knew who Randy was because he lived in Burbank CA which is the neighboring city to Glendale. Randy studied classical guitar from Robert Vaught at Glendale Community College. Robert never wanted Randy to play heavy metal and at the time of his death, Randy was planning on returning to UCLA to continue his classical guitar studies and get his masters degree in music. This was on the advice from Robert Vaught. Unfortunately he was never able to do that. Years later in 93' and 94' I also studied classical guitar with Randy's teacher Robert Vaught. Robert is the one that taught Randy the majority of his classical music training especially music theory. Robert was a great player and teacher. I studied three semesters of classical guitar with Robert and then began to study privately with him. He rarely spoke of Randy and was extremely sad about what happened. I got the pleasure of asking him about Randy a few times. He said that Randy was the best student that he ever had! He loved Randy. I'm telling you this because you are a very good player and someone has to keep the flame alive! Randy's classical influence on his playing style is undeniable. It's great to see young players like you playing the amazing music of Randy Rhoads! Keep it up brother.
