Salafis have no Isnad from Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to Ibn Taymiyyah and from him to Abdul Wahab. The amount of takfir committed by them is incomprehensible. They are literalists who never understood the Quran and Sunnah in essence. They have deep contempt for those who differ with them and never fail to attack them. Imam Malik (ra): "Whoever learns Fiqh (jurisprudence) without being initiated into Tasawwuf (Sufism) will be corrupted. Whoever initiates Tasawwuf and does not learn Fiqh will become a heretic. Whoever combines both will reach the Truth." [Kashf Al-Khafa Wa Muzid Al-Abas, v1, p341] Imam Ibn Khaldun (rh) wrote: "The way of the Sufiyyah (Sufis) is the way of the Salaf us-Saliheen, the scholars among the Sahaba al-Kiraam, al-Tabi'un, and Taba al-Tabi'een (may Allah be pleased with them). Its origin is to worship Allah (SWT) and to leave the adornments of this world and its pleasures." [Muqaddimah, p328] Imam Al-Nawawi (rh) said: "The specification of the ways of the Sufis are five: 1. To keep the Presence of Allah ﷻ in your heart in public and in private. 2. To follow the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ by action and speech. 3. To keep away from dependence on people. 4. To be happy with what Allah gives you, even if it is little. 5. To always refer your matters to Allah, Almighty and Exalted." [Al-Maqasid At-Tawhid, p20]

Let them separate themselves from their anthrapromoric shayukh, and stop quoting them and I'll take them from under my "broad brush" as long as they are praying for deviants and keeping their company, don't care what else they do. Our beloved Prophet, may blessings and Peace be upon him, warned us that they would be of his tongue, be of his skin, and have impressive salah, and impressive tajweed. When our prophet, may blessings and Peace be upon him, wakes the Ummah up to a grave danger, it would be nice if the people who have pursued leadership over the common, wouldn't put them right back to sleep. May Allah protect us from the fitna al-Wahhabiyya and from all of the tribulations of these evil times.

If Sufis are athari why do they call themselves Sufi?
They are innovators
sufis are mostly ashari/maturidi
Just like a man can call himself a woman nowadays, so can Sufis call themselves Athari, it's a sign of the times.
@@انا_جامي_والجربوع_مرجئ Nadjis are innovators, sell-outs, and traitors of the Ummah.

So what does sufis actually believe in? Do they call on dead people for help and is it ok?
If you go to majority sufi countries, you will see imams openly asking help from shaykhs in the grave. Like, oh sheikh jilaani help us. Is this fine because majority of them do it. Some don't but majority do.

I know it's called isthighasa. Isthigasa translates to asking help. We muslims do isthigasa to Allah and sufis do it to awliya. I was wondering whether that's OK to them. Especially when they ask sheiks directly. I am not referring to tawassul, just direct plain asking for help from dead.
@@raiyanchoudhary768

I am not here to argue for salafism.
What I was wondering was, how is unity even possible when major difference in akheeda is present. So, I am arguing against unity. Not against sufism. I love unity but it's just not possible.
Same goes for sufis as well. I am sure sufis appreciate a salafi imam getting up at 3 am and doing adkaar for 2 hours. But that's not what we disagree upon.
The same Salafi imam consider sufi isthigasa as major shirk. So how is unity possible.
I guess yasir qadhi explained this .. like he says calling upon saints with the intention that it is Allah who is the one actually helping us but these saints are means just like how we ask a doctor to treat illness but believe that Allah is the true Healer ... then according to yasir qadi it is not shirk but he falls it haram and there is a difference of opinion ... there are scholars who say it is permissible and others who say it is not ..
For unity we will have to believe that what the other person doing is not shirk and there are scholars who allowed isthighasa and they are also eminent scholars ..
So I think it is better if we all throw away our differences as what we agree upon are way more in number compared to what we disagree ...
For years I've been pressured to join a camp as either a Sufi or a salafi. I'm Muslim! Peace to all. Follow your Prophet and his sunnah and May Allah forgive us for our differences

Whoever combines both will reach the Truth." [Kashf Al-Khafa Wa Muzid Al-Abas, v1, p341]
Imam Ibn Khaldun (rh) wrote: "The way of the Sufiyyah (Sufis) is the way of the Salaf us-Saliheen, the scholars among the Sahaba al-Kiraam, al-Tabi'un, and Taba al-Tabi'een (may Allah be pleased with them). Its origin is to worship Allah (SWT) and to leave the adornments of this world and its pleasures." [Muqaddimah, p328]
Imam Al-Nawawi (rh) said: "The specification of the ways of the Sufis are five:
Opposite for me. The Sufis (not the crazies) brought me closer to Allah. The Salafis werre/are extremely harsh and have extremely bad manners which eventually turned me off. They talk about Muslims in a really bad way and at times I wondered if they were in power, what would they do the majority of Muslims? Also 95% of their student of Knowledge/Western scholarship is just looking at Islamqa/Taking Prophet PBUH words literally. If that was the case, Islam wouldn't have the rich scholarship it does.
Whenever I have questioned Salafi SOK on a fatwa especially If I cant conflicting evidence online, they will just refer me to Islamqa lol
With people like Dr Shadee, I see actual spirituality. This is the case with most sufis, just look at the manner of speaking. They appeal to intellect/Principles of Interpreting Islamic sources vs Emotional rants you see from Angry Salafis. All that does is shock you in the short term and in the long term cause cognitive dissonance. This is why Many Salafis become securliasts or ex muslims.
