@MZZHZZWZZ From what it looks like current 10-Speed TCM tuning should be compatible with newer 2024+ models. However we are still waiting on full support for tuning the 2024's so it will probably be a few months until we see a break through that will allow us to be able to flash tuning.

When you add this tune, does it put more pressure on internal transmission components? I keep seeing that the GM transmission has smaller internals than the Ford 10 speed which might have issues long term. I'm not a mechanic, I'm just asking if it might hurt the transmission long term. I appreciate the video.
@@changuili appreciate the rely. I was just told by a Ford mechanic about a week ago they were co- designed but Ford’s internals are beefier and it runs slightly hotter than the GM transmission. Either way I’m sure they are nice.
Wow been waiting for someone to "jailbreak" the new Allison 10L1000. Want to use it in a...well special sauce on a big block build, i hate "new" engines but love new transmissions lol. Does it still use HP Tuners? And does it mate with after market torque converters? Are my big questions, as 450HP is laughable output for what I expect this thing to be able to do. @@user-fw6eg3hc8f Any engine can be built. I hate all small blocks, and computer cars. It is a question longevity, how long will it run like that. Eventually something gives. Old gm/chevy big blocks will flip the odometer AND drive constantly the whole time, new engines get thrown at 150,000/250,000mi. My question is related to transmissions. The 10l90 is kinda unreliable AND a pain to reprogram, where as the 10l1000 should be way more reliable but is still a pain to program. A 454 can really kill with one of these, it can also kill one of these. Massive torque numbers require a massive torque converter. If the 10l1000 is really only ment for small blocks that's bullshit!
@@Duramaxtuner Would be really cool if you did. Outside of the Ford 7.3 Godzilla. Virtually no one is touching the HD gas game when it comes to tuning. If you could roll out some tunes for the 6.6 l8t and the 6.4 hemi youd basically be the only people that owners of those could come to

We don't use skip shifting in normal or T/H

The internal pressures have been raised to help with clutch clamping.

Thanks I thought the 10 spped Allison was equipped with internal wet clutches which avoid the TC from slipping. pleease advise Thanks
@LowOnCash We have not heard this. Are you sure this is the case for the 10L 1000 Allison and not the TC10 Allison?

Does the torque converter stay locked a 100% of the time from 2nd gear on? Our 8 speed Toyota does, we really like it

We currently are not tuning that engine.... yet. Maybe in the future.

Yes, this tuning does not have to be used in conjunction with our ECM tuning.

Would this be beneficial for a truck at stock power?
TCM tuning compliments ECM tuning. It wouldn't have much benefit stock.
Does this give the same level of tuning that is available with the 10 speed Ford?

They can, we always recommend returning to stock and haven't seen that happen when done so.
Was testing done with stock or modified engine tuning?
The engine was modified. It was tuned to 500Rwhp (Mustang Dyno #’s)
