Hello Josh and Mark. It's great that you've got Kodiak Transmission to help you with your trucks. Everyone should travel to Kodiak Transmission and get them rebuilt.
this is why when the time comes to rebuild my trans......i want Mark to do it......and ill be coming from NC.
I talked to Mark on the phone….good guy… hard to find people like him. Plan on taking my truck up there and having them rebuild my transmission this winter, or whenever he’s got time.

Josh you should make that your next video. Stock trans coolers vs upgraded trans coolers for gm/ford/dodge. All years of these diesel trucks. Cause I have a 2010 f250 w/ 6.4l powerstroke that needs a trans and I was thinking about upgrading the trans cooler too.

I'd pay to have the access to the knowledge this group of gentlemen have. Just to learn and be able to share that knowledge with my children. I mean the knowledge they have can be used to build lots of different things to be more self sufficient. Great work again guys! Keep it up.
My commute to North Prairie Is Just Over A 1000 Miles As Well. I'll be coming from North Carolina. Can't wait for MARK to call. AS soon as I get off the phone with him I will be jumping in my truck for that 16.5 hour Drive
TCS makes a billet C2 clutch hub. Im not sure if thats the same as the drum or if that can fix the hardness issue

I know an owner of transmission repair shop that has been into a few of another rebuilder of high performance transmissions.This company says they put in upgrades and do not,This shop found stock parts put in them.This owner has heard of Kodiak truck
I live in PA, marks shop is a 9 and a half hour drive for me and I will sure in the hell be making the drive to have my trans built even if I gotta wait a year I’ll let the truck sit, just the way he talks you can tell he really does know his shit
I pulled my transmission and shipped it to No Zone diesel owned by Dmitry Mallard. $600 shipping there and back and installed it myself. Built for 750HP 2 years at 650HP no problems.
I had this issue with a 750HP trans from duramax tuner, it had shifting issues from the beginning. I complained to them for a whole year and did every check they asked me to do. They took the trans back tore it down and said nothing was wrong. Well 20,000 miles later the trans was smoked, duramax tuner would not back up their product and I was forced to buy another built trans. I ended up going with Inglewood trans 1000HP transmission been running strong, shifting correctly since install. I will dog on duramax tuner all day because I told them something was wrong with the trans for almost two years…..piss poor integrity.
What a shame. I love my Stealth turbo with over 30k miles on it so far. I would never expect them to do such a thing I would take the truck to the shop and have Nick Preignitz drive the truck!
@@beowulf885 I would have loved to do that but they are on the other side of the country for me. and driving that far with a fucked transmission wasn’t a good idea.
My first choice was Inglewood. Flew down there and everything. Ended up with Dmitry Mallard at No Zone diesel because he reached out to me. 750HP built transmission I'm at 650HP.
I had mine rebuilt in decatur il by ss transmission and i would never do that again took them 6 vists 2 converters 6k and 4 months with out my truck and got it back with the drive shaft smashed on the end and it was a brand new drive shaft be aware guys the place i took it "built" allisons all the time after it was all said and done the trans was great but i dont belive he built it like he said. Now i have a 2015 denalli with the 6.2l gas motor and the 8 speed trans so ill be needing a rebuild on that soon because the 8 speeds are garbage. Rant over good content though man keep up the great work

Mark and his shop and Ryan’s diesel Service is like a dream shop every time I take my truck to a shop I cringe and cross my fingers because I know it’s a 50-50 chance I’m gonna get fucked I just had my Allison transmission replaced four times because of the junk transmissions they kept putting in 🤦🏻♂️ a good shop is worth it’s weight in gold!!!
Does garren have kits for the light duty trucks as well i am lookijg to get the 6 speed on the silverado 1500 rebuilt

Guys this is the truck that I asked for help in how the world it went from a C3500 to a K3500 with the floor shift transfer case. I so need to convert mine over here in Central Pennsylvania! And now I'm having issues with it running without the EGR here. Just finally got it back with the new engine and was to be wiring harness swap over. I still need a low miles engine bay complete wiring harness setup. And for it to stop going into limp pulling any thing behind it. Sucks.
And following up on the last comment by @haskellburks, I'm located in the Los Angeles area and while I don't imminently need my Allison gone through, I curious whether there is an association of transmission builders locally that really know their stuff. I'd love to get to Wisconsin when I need mine fixed but I'm 2000 miles away. Any recommendations regarding an individual with Mark's expertise in the Los Angeles area? Thanks for any light you can shed on this.

Hey, I doubt I'll get a reply, but I was wondering if in the future I wanted a build for my trans. I dont have the lift, tools, or knowledge to rebuild it myself, does Mark offer build & install if I drove there? It's a couple hour drive but nothing I wouldnt consider for a good builder. :D
If you're serious about it, you'd pick up the phone and call their shop. It literally shows their phone number at 1:10 in the video.

Help!!! I have a Beautiful, Mint 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 CTD 4X4 SLT, Unmolested, with 117K and 5 Speed Manual Transmission. I recently became disabled and unable to drive a standard shift transmission anymore. I have been shopping for a new truck and am very disappointed with what is available these days. I love my 2001, but the standard transmission makes it impossible for me to drive. So, what I would like to do, is find a Shop, that can pull the 5 speed manual and install a bulletproof automatic for me. I want i done Right! Bulletproof transmission, matching components and interior work. I want it to look original, but run like the Beast it is. My problem is, I am unable to find any shops to do this swap. I am in Tucson, AZ, but will travel out of state for a reliable shop. I know it will cost $$$, but it will be cheaper than a new truck and a lot more reliable. Thank you for any help and recommendations you all can give me.

Inglewood Transmission is famous for building Transmissions. Inglewood CA. Google Mike L. Transmission He even has parts named.agter him and has shown many many shops how to build transmissions
You could atleast let us know what rebuild kit not to buy
People lie... People sell shit under false pretenses... To take a person's word without any creditability is on u... U allowed it to happen... That makes u stupid... For that purchase... Never buy anything unless it has documentation
