I looked at a new ultimate Denali 2500 the other day and it was $150K Canadian. GM sticker price. A high country was $105K. I want something really clean and nice…. Can you get a good clean rust free for $30-40K? A dually would be a plus.

So what’s better in your opinion? MO or PPEI transmission tuning?

I have already have SOTF but want to tune TCM. Do I need to send the SOTF tune file to them for the trans tune?

So when the tcm was tuned by motorop the transmission would shutter? Did they ever offer an updated tune?

ALL the info I am finding out on the 10 speeds is not good! All the performance guys are dogging them. I think I am going to get a 2019 and call it a day. I am in the market for a new Duramax its either a 2024 or a 2019 I haven't made up my mind yet if I want to go with the 10 speed trans. I want to know what everyone thinks about the 10 speed. I guess my question is do you like the 10 speed and if your going to build a truck for performance would you get a 2019 with the 6 speed. From what I can see from researching online the 10 speed built only can take about 750 hp and the Allison 1000 is tried and true, can hold more way more power, and in my opinion is better! There was a reason why it was in the trucks for 19 years, because it worked. All this epa hippy crap and emissions man is killing the performance world! I am curious what you and other people think about the new 10 speed if you like it, any issues you or anyone's had with it. Im sure its night and day with tuning but when adding extra power I hear its not able to take it. I'm told it can't take the abuse and has parts that are prone to failing on high hp builds. Theres simply no room for more clutch materiel and at least at this time builders want $1000 per gear so that's 10 gs for a built 10 speed that only takes 750 hp. A 2019 sounds more and more like the way to go in my opinion! I was told the 2024's are going to be "untunable" as they have a super encrypted ecm. I am curious if anyone knows anything on that as well I don't want to get a new 24 then not be able to put weight reduction parts on it if ya know what I mean hehe.
