I have a banks derringer and a S&B intake. The defuel between shifts alone drives me nuts. You say there’s skip shifting like the fords ?. Could I swap in a tuned TCM and run your tuning and if the tranny packs it in put in my old TCM for warranty?

I've just got 1 and notice from a stop under throttle just pulling out on the highway but not full throttle, it was like 5-6 shift or 6-7 shift it felt like it missed shift and hung then shifted or possible the converter lock up unlock situation? any thoughts? My truck has 142 miles and is paired with the DuramaX
Is there a way to get the TC to lock up in 1st and make the exhaust brake also work in 1st when going down steep off road grades. I gross out at about 20k and when the TC won't lock until I hit 20 MPH in 2nd gear and then it only works down to 15 MPH in second that's no good 😡 I hope someone can cure this problem cause I'm to the point where I'm thinking about selling it and replacing it with something like a 2015 dodge with a 6 SPD.
So what is the point of having 10 gears if it skip shifts? And is the transmission the reason the L5Ps have such a horrendous throttle response from a stop? My 24 feels like a snail until you hit 15 mph and then it suddenly has power. It feels like torque management to keep the shitty Ford transmission alive.

my 24' definitely does not skip gears like the 6.7 ford I drive for work..
