Absolutely love those pots, what a beatiful giant that lily is!
I love this plant. The leaves are so crazy
Divina la spathiphyliun sensación
A piece of coffee filter paper does well for the drainage hole
Yes. I need to get some plastic mesh stuff already hahaha 🤣
Beautiful Sensation Peace Lily❤
Very informative 👏
Thanks Gloriana
Nice job,,love the pot as well.
Thanks Leah
Thank you Jeff ! Your peace lily is beautiful! 🌷💚🙃
Thanks Judy!
Gorgeous huge Lily in a gorgeous pot!!💓💓. My lilies are in self watering pots and haven't had any yellowing nor crisping. They get ambient full spectrum light from a floor lamp that is for my pet bunny. 😊. They are also in a North facing window where light is medium level, reflecting from white house next door. So far so good. 🤞
Thanks for the information about your plants!
Wow. That was quite the challenge. It’s a beautiful plant and I love that new pot you put it in.
Thanks so much Karen
Thank you for sharing your beautiful Peach Lily and the pot is beautiful
Thanks Jillian!!!
Turned out amazing in that pot. It's a huge plant.
Thanks Linda
Your decorating indoor plants is very beautiful.your peace lili is able to grow well
Thanks WAKTU KAK SUGENG!
Beautiful! My mom has a normal peace lily that is almost that size, she’s had it for over 25 years. I have a collection of my own lilies filling up my bathroom. They’re so simple and elegant, I just love them. 💚
Always get new tips from your videos Jeff! Thanks for sharing👍
Thanks Anne
What a makeover! It looks great in that planter! Awesomely huge plant!
I love it...thanks Laura
Nice plant, pot & stand w/wheels. Thanks for sharing Jeff!
Beautiful plant! Looks great in the new pot!
Thanks and I think so too!
Peace Lilly suits the new pot beautifully 🌱💚
Thanks Kathy!
@@EverythingPlantscan you sell seedings for this mutated form of peace lily, please?
So glad to find this. I received an enormous one this size 8 years ago when my mother passed away. I knew it didn’t look like a normal peace lily, but then it finally bloomed like one. I am repotting it again (I think I potted it in too large of a pot) and was concerned how deep I need to plant it. The large rhizome area has always sat above the soil.
Enjoyed the video. Boy oh boy, that is one BIG peace Lily!😮. Thanks for all the lighting information!
It's one of my favorite plants!
Love it when I get a notification that you’ve posted a new vid!! 🤗🤗🤗
Yay! Thank you!
It's looking great!
Thanks Brigitte
Looks beautiful in its new pot! Just don’t let it get too root bound in it or you’ll never get it out! 🙃
Thanks!!!
The peace lily is one of my favourite plants. It’s “generic”, but I love it so much. It has stunning foliage. Mine is constantly blooming, but I actually don’t like the blooms! I end up chopping them off before they even open up because they make a huge mess of pollen everywhere. 😂
That pot is beautiful and the lily looks great in it. I use a coffee filter to cover the holes when I repot.
I have started using coffee filters too
Cool video. That pot looks really nice too
Thanks man!
Jeff, Jeff JEFF, so excited to tell you about my latest project. I am not a fan of the moss poles either, I have made them same as you have. I am not a fan of wooden planks as my plant room is part of my living room. I don’t want the plastic look either 🙄🙄🙄 so I have tied a new medium for the poles. I purchased coconut coir MULCH and made a couple of poles with it as the filler. I packed it tight dry so when I watered it would expand and it looks great. I have NO mess like the moss and it has stayed moist for days. The color is nice too.
It’s a beautiful wave lily. Now I want one. I have a regular one and I just got a variegated one. I love the tubs on your lily. That’s what I’m looking for.
Thank you 🤗
Hi Jeff.
I love Peace lily(Spatifilum)
IT îs a very easy plant to grow.
You did again a very good yob.
Thanks Mariana!
beautiful plants
So nice of you
I remember when you repoted it last time.
Wow that talavera pot did wonders for that beautiful Peace Lily!! I’m beginning with a cutting…we’ll see how that comes out. Thanks for the info!! 🪴🙋🏼♀️💚🐩
Do you have the large sensation peace lily?
@@EverythingPlants no just the medium one.
I love it in that pot! Nice!
Me too!
Looked like a tough re-pot. I have wanted one but I can't lift that. 😕
Gorgeous!!!
Thanks Ereka
I have a peace lily. I try to not to overwater it. I usually wait to see the leaves droop a bit then test with a stick to check if dry. However, after watering I get the yellow leaves. Frustrating! Beautiful lily and love the pot.
I've actually had my peace lily inside medium light and it actually got those same crispy sides and brown edges incl. brown spots, The leaves actually stopped doing that after I put it outside, and has been receiving filtered sun and when I bring it back inside (because the southern side of north america sucks in weather), it gets direct sun from my south-facing window, and hasn't got any burns on it from what I've seen.
I think the Spathiphyllum 'Sensation' is very tolerant of higher light levels and or semi-direct sun as long as it's not thrown out in the open, but these are simply my conditions as where I got it, it was already in direct sun, and was doing pretty well. I've also come to realize darker leafed plants can handle full sun very well as long as you let them acclimate to it slowly, but that's just me.
I do think peace lilies are just stubborn plants and just are never perfect looking despite them nice leaves 💀
I cannot recall if it's in this video or not, but I have since added a growlight to increase the amount of light it receives. I am hoping that this solves the issue. Thanks for this comment and I would agree with you!
I had no idea the sensation one is the larger one 😂😂 I've been pep talking my little guy for no reason lol
Is it time to get a sensation now? Lol
YESSS!
That plant is beautiful. How did you get the leaves to stand up the way they do. Mine droop a little. I don't want to over water. How often do you water and fertilizer?
i love how many tools you have haha!
Haha thanks
Don’t let it become root bound in the new pot. You don’t want to crack it. It’s too pretty to crack and break.
Wow, looks stunning in that pot.
Thanks!
I have also big sensation peace Lilly ,it grows well but flowering absent.what can I do?please suggest remedies.
Today I received my Sensation Peacy Lilly. It's so big and I got two plants in 1 pot. I am going to seperate them so I can let them grow. Does this plant grows fast? I have other small peace Lilly's which grows pretty fast. Is this similar with this giant version?
My husband had some screening material in the basement so I cut up pieces for my pots, he couldn’t figure out where he used the large piece cut from it 😅
I definitely need that as well hahaha
I re-potted my mom's Peace Lily, Irene the other day. The soil was drying out too fast. I thought that she looked root bound. I followed your UA-cam video on dividing the Peace Lily. I planted the majority back into its grow pot. I had a difficult time finding a deep enough pot for the pieces of the plant that I separated from the mother plant. I've got a lot of Terra Cotta pots, but they would have been too heavy to move. It's been two years since Irene has been re-potted. Suggestions?
Thanks, Jeff I love the pot. Where did you buy it?
I bought it from Winners HomeSense store.
How do you get your leaves so big and beautiful?? ❤️❤️❤️
They came like that haha
Love your videos and tips! I recently reported a Peace Lily that is very special to me. It is VERY droopy, since repotting, and I can’t seem to get it to perk back up. Any suggestions?
It is probably going through a bit of transition shock....give it time. What type of light do you currently have it in? Did it need water before you repotted and did you water after?
@@EverythingPlants It is in front of Northeast facing windows. I would say it receives bright indirect light. It did need water before repotting but wasn’t bone dry and I did water it thoroughly after repotting. As of yesterday, the leaves have started to lift a little and it seems to be slowly perking back up some. Fingers crossed! Thank you so much for your help!
Sorry Off topic question, do you ever use heat mats with your perlite prop boxes?
No I don't specifically with my prop boxes, but I do use it for a few plants right now
Use water treated with no chlorine
Yup
my two cents here; from my experience, peace lilies hate it when their roots get disturbed so my advice is not to disturb the roots when repotting your peace Lily.
So far so good.... But thanks!
What happened to the lemon tree that used to be in that pot?
I got 3 lemons off it ...ate them. We went camping and my lemon tree was outside for the summer and it got roasted in a heatwave
That thing is huuuuuge!
Yes... Yes it is lol
Peace Lily's die in my care 😭 rare plants or difficult plants do well but the "starter plants" just die...
I love the one you work on in this though, it looks a lot like a bird of paradise except it doesn't tear!
As your plants get bigger you may want to change the channel name to "jungle Jeff" since you're mostly hidden 🤣
Off topic question. My ZZ only has 1 stem per bulb, so 3 stems. Everytime it gets a new one the other dies off. Any clue why this is happening? Did the alocasias teach it bad habits? The stems do size up but it's annoying that it looks so sparse.
Cut it !!😂
Never do that the plant needs to drsin well!! No rocks oh myy ! Lol
Never do what? It has a drain hole lol
First ! 👏👍💗
Yay! Enjoy the video
I really did enjoy it. I like this plant a lot,it is one of my wishlist plants, but here in Romania ,i don't find it.
Let me know how much water you used to water the plant properly. Have you used fertilizer too ? 🌿☘🌼
