I will now look at the roots of my Drama Queen to see what is going on. Thanks so much for this!
Think mine was unhealthy as i over watered it, potted it on and will wait now, has lots of new growth and leaves, no roots! how much water do they need at watering time, less is more? really good video thanks.
When my dear mom was dying in the hospital last year, I came across a very neglected peace lily in her house. Mom felt bad for a long time, but she didn't want to admit it, so she didn't take care of the plants anymore. The peace lily looked like it had died completely, all the leaves had dried up. It was standing on a stand in a southern but cold room. I moved it to my heated apartment, bought a humidifier, cut off almost all the leaves, transplanted it into better soil and today it looks beautiful! The only thing is I don't know if it will ever bloom, it's been sunny here for a long time and it's in an ideal place, near the east window. It keeps putting out new leaves, no yellow, no brown, but no flowers either. I feed him regularly and live in hope. For my mom ❤️
This is so accurately and eloquently phrased!!! Agree wholeheartedly, appreciate the creator of this content so much!!! I bought a beautiful Peace Lily in honor of earning/achieving my peace after losing my fiancé to COVID during the first wave (April ‘20), I’ve endured and overcome so much and I randomly came across a beautiful, lush PL at Walmart the other day, she had a few wilted leaves and dying blooms….her dirt was scattered all over the place and she’d obviously been neglected she was all alone in a corner, partially hidden by some wooden pallets….. I suppose this may sound crazy according to anyone that isn’t a plant parent/enthusiast….but she reminded me SO MUCH of myself and how some of us just need a little extra love and care even though we are already beautiful and whole as we are…so she came home with me and I’m so grateful I found your video!!!! I love books, particularly informative…aesthetically pleasing ones. But like everyone else in this inflated, perpetually busy society….I don’t always have the time to sit and read books so this is a perfect medium!!! Green 🌱🥹💚
I’m so sorry to hear about your fiancé. That is heartbreaking. Plants are good for the soul in my opinion! I’m proud of your for overcoming so much. This life is full of challenges and man is it ever hard sometime. But tommorrow is a new day and we are all lucky to get another day on this beautiful earth and you can do this! I hope your peace Lily is thriving and I hope it reminds you of your beloved fiancé dear! Take care and happy growing 💚🌳💚
Thank you for the information My Peace Lily was given to me after my daughter passed and I’m trying to keep it alive in memory of her. Thanks for your help! ❤
I am sorry for your loss. I too received a Peace Lily after my sister passed unexpectedly. It was the most beautiful gesture to get this plant. It started to get sick because I over-watered it. I too am trying to keep it alive in my sister's memory, It's slowly recovering.... I wish health and wellness to you and your plant.
I have a peace lily that I received when my Dad passed away in 2005. I have been babying it all this time. It was in a small planter and every couple of years I put it in a planter 2" or so larger. It is now in a planter about 20" round and it stands about 3' tall. It's been in that planter now for about 5 years now and I have noticed that I am seeing a lot of yellow leaves here lately. I think I am going to separate it and put it in into a few smaller pots. Thank you for the tips on how to do that.
This is the most helpful video I have seen about problems with Peace Lilies. I bought a big, beautiful one about a month ago in Wal-Mart on clearance for $10. It looked healthy. It seemed to need watering twice a week, so I pulled the inner pot out & found some roots protruding. I re-potted it into a 12". It has been drooping for about a week & I have not watered it for 10 days, because my moisture meter indicates that it remains moist. I use only dehumidifier water or rainwater. The current plastic pot has a built-in drain pan, so I will have to pull the plant out roots & all to check their condition.
I find my peace lilies do better in indirect low light. 🤷🏼♀️ I also found following the standard watering instructions of “keep watering until it comes out the bottom” resulted in root rot and other overwatering issues. I used a plant-care app to calculate an exact amount of water to provide for each different sized planter pot and my Peace Lilies appear to be improving.
I’m glad your plants are doing better. Every climate will have different watering needs. Depending on the age of the plant it may need less light too. Less sun will need less water. You def don’t want your plant sitting in water in excess water after it has been watered, that will def cause root rot. Happy to hear your peace lily is happy!
Very good information. I've had peace lilies for over 12 years now. They have never sent out new shoots, nor flowers. They just continue to send out new leaves. They are quite tall and doing well. I'm really enjoying them indoors.I live in the Caribbean.
Overwatering means watering too often. Watering until the water runs through the bottom is ok. I literally drowned an Ivy gifted to me from a coworker. She thought I had a green thumb. I had no idea how to care for the Ivy, so I poured water in that poor thing till it died!!
I've only ever been good at caring for a few types of plants but I got this peace lily from a friend at my father's funeral recently and it's beautiful so I really want it to survive so I thank you for the tips.
I am so sorry for your loss Christina. That is so special that a friend gave you one! What a beautiful reminder for you. I hope you feel your father close.
First time watching your channel and I'm impressed. This is the most comprehensive and concise guide to identify and diagnose problems in peace lily. Thank you for sharing!
Love love love all the comprehensive information! This is the most helpful Peace Lily video I've seen Thank you so much for sharing your expertise! ❤️🪴
@@moodybloomsyou're welcome. I submitted a question as to whether or not I should keep my peace lilies in the pot they came in for a funeral. I have two large plants and want to do what's best for them. Thanks!
Super helpful video! I purchased a Peace Lily (Sp. Sensation) a couple weeks ago and it was in decent condition but I noticed it had some caterpillar chew marks. I put it in quarantine for a few days after a treatment with Neem. I then cleaned the old potting soil from the roots, washed the leaves, and noticed it was 2 separate plants in the single pot-so it was good I was repotting it lol. I spritzed the roots with some diluted Hydrogen Peroxide and put them each in a smaller pot with my homemade soil mix and did not water them the first 2 days post-transplant. They are absolutely thriving now and look so good! I can’t wait to see how big these beauties get. ❤
Thanks so much, my poor peace lily suffered many of those problems due to changing homes..I really appreciate your simple and thorough way to detect, diagnose and solve all those problems.
Great video! Far more understandable than most. My poor peace lilywas moved to a different part of the house and started to die. This video helped me to understand my peace lily so much more 🙏
Thank you - very helpful. We have moved to an area with very hard water and have a built in water softener. I think both of the "hard" and "soft" water have not been very good for my peace lily. I may start trying my filtered water and distilled water. Well, anyway, I have a few new options to try after this video! Thanks again.
I appreciate the info. I can pretty much grow anything on the outside but this plant is really hard to care for inside of my home. It just feels like no matter what you do it’s not working to help the plant to thrive. I’m sure I just don’t know what I’m doing but wow.
I always come back to this video when my peace lily starts being dramatic, it’s so thorough! seems my problem is (again) a mix of temperature and underwatering. as it’s gotten colder most of my plants have been acting up, and I think that’s due to them being near my sliding glass door. additionally, my peace lily soil felt bone dry when I checked today even though I just watered her a couple days ago. I’m hoping a bottom-water in the tub and a move to the center of the room will have her perking up!!
THANK YOU FOR THIS FANTASTIC VIDEO REGARDING PEACE LILIES. I AM ON MY SECOND PLANT. IT MAKES ME SO NERVOUS.. I WAS AWAY A FEW DAYS, CAME BACK, IT HAD COMPLETELY COLLAPSED. I PANICED.. I WATERED IT THOROUGHLY RIGHT AWAY, AND WAITED...NOTHING! THE NEXT MORNING IT CAME BACK TO ME! I WAS SO HAPPY. I CLEANED UP SOME LEAVES, WIPED THEM OFF..AND NOW IT'S GOOD. LOOKING AT YOUR VIDEO, I AM WODERING IF I SHALL RE POT IT. IT'S IN THE ORIGINAL POT I BOUGHT IT IN BACK IN JUNE. AFTER I RE POT, OR THE NEXT UNPLEASANT EPISODE, I WILl NOT PURCHASE ANYMORE. THEY'RE BEAUTIFUL, BUT DELICATE. I DO BETTER WITH POTHOS, WHICH I HAVE TWENTY.. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING ME TO PLANT SCHOOL, BEING A NEW PLANT MOM, I AM LEARNING BY TRIAL & ERROR.😊
Pothos are the best!! I love that you have 20!! I would only repot now if it has outgrown its current pot, since it has had some recent shock from lack of water.
Thank you. I'm new to the peace lily someone bought me one when my mom died. I felt so bad i neglected it. I will treat this one better. Its been 2 years and I'm ready
I ordered a peace lily online and USPS held it four days late in the middle of January in New England. When it arrived, it looked okay initially, but slowly some of the leaves started turning black. I determined that it was likely cold and shock, and put it in an east-facing window for gentle direct sunlight. The bad leaves continued blackening until they were completely dead, and I removed them. The rest of the plant has perked up and is doing well.
Such an amazing and informative video! I bought a Peace Lily 3 days ago and put it in a big pot. I also watered it. However, that soil was previously used for another plant that had died, so it was already moist. Today, I noticed that the Lilly's leaves and flowers were wilting. I immediately suspected overwatering, so I removed the plant from the pot, I took all the moist soil out and replaced it with fresh soil from the store. The plant seems to be doing better than it did earlier today. Hopefully it will be ok! ^^
I use aquarium water from my tanks and indoor ponds. I use RODI for my aquariums. I also use grow lights for control/consistency. I have aquatic plants too and they all love the nitrates and phosphates from my aquarium water 👍🏾 thanks for the info
I just discover your channel and I am amazed with all the explanations and advises you have give in your video . You have answered a lot of questions I have to understand how to care about my Peace lily
Thank you so very much! I rescued a peace lily from a previous neighbor. It was outdoors in WA state at end of Sept. Terrible idea. Also in a 3 ft pot with an outdoor flower plant. 😮 Hope she can survive! She's completely fallen over, wish her luck ❤
I appreciate this video so much. I've had my peace lillies for over a year and have had issues off and on with them. This video answered all my issues. I'm so happy I found it. Thank you!
Very informative video! Thanks for sharing your expertise. My biggest problem is with the new baby leaves turning blackish and dying before they ever grow out from under the larger, older leaves. What might be causing them to seemingly rot? I water from below and the older leaves are fine. The plants do have mostly green flowers.
Black anything is from stress. Could be over/underwatering, drafts, cold, etc. The larger leaves may be stronger and can tolerate more than your less established leaves. How is your lighting? When peace lilies get too much light, the blooms turn green. This occurs because the plant performs more photosynthesis in stronger light and the green pigment in the flowers show through.
They are so temperamental and delicate, but I think I figured it out, through my own actions 😅. I saw so many variations of this plant under differing conditions. Resilient little things!
Great information : ) Lovely plants and colors : ) Big Like : ) Excellent video and presentation Mary Ellen : ) Fantastic tips : ) Thank you so much for sharing this awesome presentation and video : )
So much helpful information!! A friend told me a egg shell and vinegar mixture to feed my plants but I’m scared I’ve used to much vinegar 😢 however they were propagations just potted so I’m just anxiously waiting everyday 😞
I didn’t know all that thanks for everything I know what to do now with mines but I live in Vacaville California n they don’t like being in doors so I keep them outside so I will prune them but my mom don’t want them change out of there pot especially the oldest one I don’t know if I can change her mind about that it does better in the winter here bc temp is lower than in the summer but we have had high temp was really high for a while but they do better outside n I don’t water them unless the leaves start dropping down n I only give them spring water from a bottle our faucet water is not really good too use for them n sometimes I will use destill water n I make sure they are not indirect sun either bc they don’t do well I knew that part none of my plants do thanks again Rose Stines
Thank you for the info I have a peace lily and it's almost a year old your information has been very helpful to me because through the process sometimes my peace lily with Drew now I know what to do thank you so much for your information 😊
First time watching your channel very informative 👍 👌 my piece lily giving me problem after watching ur channel realised it doesn't like the cold, bringing them upstairs.
Thank you for this video. Really the best one I have seen yet. I have two pots with peace lily and both plants look nice, but the bottom leaves turn yellow. I water them with filtered tap water and whenever I notice a slight drop of the leaves I add a little bit of water, so it might be the case that I am watering too often. They did bloom at the beginning of February and the flowers are still nice and white after a month. Overall they are beautiful plants, but the yellow leaves are bugging me. If watering is not the case, I might try adding fertilizer because I don't add any at all.
Sure wish I could send a picture on here. My peace lily was on the grave of a very dear friend. I’m doing all I can but the majority of the leaves a brown from the tip up to half way the leaf.
I am so sorry to hear that such a special plant is having issues. What a lovely way to remember a dear friend. Brown leaves could be a number of issues. You may want to check out my complete Peace Lily post here: moodybloomsco.com/peace-lily-problems/
The plant will droop a bit when thirsty, telling you when it needs a drink. If you pay attention to when it usually starts to sag, you can plan to water one day before it generally happens. Peace lilies need consistently moist soil, but they definitely don't like to sit in standing water. Whenever the top inch of soil is dry, water the plant until the overflow starts to come out of the bottom of the container. Wait until it stops draining, then set the pot back in its saucer.
I saved my dad's very neglected peace lilly from a few dried up yellow leaves and it's now huge and bushy and producing multiple flowers for the first time! I'm getting nervous now because so many talented plant people have said they have problems with them! I knew next to nothing about plants and it's somehow thrived,so something has to go wrong, right???
A severe temperature change or lack of water will cause peace lily bud maturity problems. Make sure your peace lily is moist but not soggy and the air flow around the plant is remaining constant. Also, have you checked for pests...specifically thrips? Thrips are a small slender insect. If buds to appear, turn brown and then die before they open, it’s a sign of the plant being stressed. Typically, it’s water stress or light stress. Peace lily’s should only be watered when required. For lighting, dappled light only...no direct sunlight. Over and under-watering will cause bloom problems and cause leaf discoloration. When these plants need to be watered, they begin to wilt. Only water a peace lily once it shows slight wilting. Also, do a finger test to see if the soil is dry to touch or moist or use a moisture meter. Add water when the soil is dry to the touch and only lightly. If it is not forming blooms at all, make sure your peace lily gets the proper amounts of water and light. The most common reason peace lilies don't bloom is because they aren't getting enough light.
My 5 peace lillys are outside in south alabama getting almost full sun. Ive potted them into the largest pot i could find. They flower almost continously also.
Yes, my mom has Peace Lilies in the ground in full sun in Northern Florida, and they are HUGE, and full of flowers! Mine on the other-hand are being cared for inside, and they are always throwing a hissy fit for one thing or another. 😩
If you suspect a fungal infection, remove the infected leaves, spray the rest of the plant with a commercial houseplant fungicide, let the plant dry out and then resume watering only when the soil is dry to the touch. If possible, move your dieffenbachia to a brighter spot. Fungicide spray can be found here: amzn.to/49JtZmY
Great video, very informative thanks. Coming on to the end you showed peace lily in water vase. But you didn’t talk about that. So what about Living in water? would that be a problem for peace lily and having fish in the water to provide nutrients to the lily?
Hi Allan. Yes, peace lilies can grow in water alone. You can even buy them in vases without any soil. Ideally, the base of the plant should be suspended above the water line, either by a specially-made vase insert or a layer of small river rocks. If planting with fish choose a peace lily that isn't very large, but has a well-developed root structure. Since the roots will be dangling down into the fish bowl, they should take up no more than about 20 percent of the space to allow your fish ample swimming room. I am not sure if they provide nutrients tho. Here is my complete Peace Lily Problem Guide: moodybloomsco.com/peace-lily-problems/ for more tips!
Just acquired my first peace lilly. My husband's memaw passed and we were gifted this beautiful plant. Thank you for these expert tips! My daughter named it "Bob" 💓
Thanks for this video, it helped. My only problem with my Peace Lily is little flying bugs seem to be attracted to her. I've tried the 1/3 vinegar and 3/4 water spray under the plant and in the plant but the next day, the bugs are all over her again. Do you have another safe alternative to get rid of these little bugs besides a vinegar and water solution? Side note, I think they're fungus gnats but can't be sure...... Thank you in advance :)
Thank you for a very informative video. I did not identify very many problems that applies to my Peace Lily except for one yellow leaf on the bottom part. I am confident that my Lily is ok and meets all the criteria for keeping it healthy. I may be wrong because of this :My problem (which may not really be one) is: the plant is now very tall. It is in a pot that is 9" deep and diameter of 11". The plant stem is now 15 inches from the top of the soil and adding the length of the leaves, it can easily measure 20+ inches tall! I prop it with dowels because it is top heavy and the leaves are heavy enough to make it droop. I wonder if it needs repotting to a deeper pot OR needs to be thinned. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thank you very much.
If it only 1 yellow leaf it may just be the normal aging process. You could always propagate it to reduce the weight. Just depends on what personally looks best to you.
My peace lily buds are turning black at the tips. Should I cut only that part off or cut the whole flower off at the stem? The leaves are beautiful and green. Is this a normal process or is it getting too much sunlight from my window? How do I prevent the rest of the flowers from turning black?🤔 Your advice will be sincerely appreciated. Thank you, have a great day.
It is hard to say what is causing them to turn black. It can be caused by many things like low humidity, drafts, sunburn, over fertilization, tap water with high amounts of fluoride, etc. Black tipping of leaves typically indicates low humidity for me, but it can also be from cold temps. Peace lilies are very sensitive to tap water, tap water contains fluoride which they're really sensitive to. Black tips can certainly be caused by this. It doesn't harm your plant too much, but think about changing to rain water or bottle water. You can still use your tap water but it's not as good (just leave it out for a day or even two and the fluoride and chlorine will evaporate). You can cut the flower anywhere really, but I'd cut the flower at the base. Hope that helps!
Hi there! Thank you for your video! I have a problem with my peace lily which is not listed here and thought maybe you could help. I had to be out of town for several months and asked my friend to look after my plants, however she was not consistent and we had a summer heat wave. When I got home, I saw that half of my peace lily was looking great, and half of it drooped and seemingly died from underwatering BUT the leaves were not, in fact, dead. Those leaves don't dry, don't turn yellow or black or brown, they just lie there completely drooped AND they don't stand up after watering. It's been a full month, I thought I'd wait and see if those leaves die down, but they don't! They are just as green but it seems, completely unalive. Half of the plant feels great, however. You know how peace lily bush consists of several mini peace lilys? Some of the bushes are completely laying down, and some of the bushes are doing very well. Should I repot it and separate those alive leave bushes from sick leaves bushes? I'm worried that those green leaves that won't live and won't die just drain the energy from the pot and won't allow my healthy leaves to grow. Or should I just wait and see what happens?
Update: So I repotted the lily and it turns out her roots are totally rotten! She had only 2 or 3 small healthy white roots. I'm quite shocked how she was so alive and how half of the leaves were looking great when she had basically no roots! As for the drooped leaves, I cut them off, because they don't look okay to me, and I don't think they will go up. I left the healthy stems and just cut off the leaves, and I hope after my Lily grows new roots in her new and fresh soil, she will have the energy to grow the new leaves too. Fascinating how both my friend and I thought she didn't have enough water and we were constantly watering her, while in the meantime she apparently had too much water and that's why her roots were rotten! So, what I'm trying to say is, if a plant doesn't look okay, check on the roots!
Fantastic video thank you so much. I have had my peace lily for 4 years it was the one plant that survived from my little brothers funeral. I have noticed around the rim of the clay pot some white dust looks more like thick snow.. what is this?
What a treasure to have from the funeral! What a sweet reminder of him. White snow looking dust sounds like powdery mildew and means there is too much moisture. Either too much watering or the soil is not well-draining enough. Definitely cut back on watering! Here is my complete Peace Lily Problem Guide: moodybloomsco.com/peace-lily-problems/ for more tips.
Peace Lilies can survive anywhere between three to five years and sometimes even longer as long as you provide some nutrients and replace water regularly. Distilled water and hydroponic fertilizer work best. Change the water out every two weeks, scrubbing any algae out of the container. You should also monitor the pH and keep it between 5.8 and 6.5.
Thank You so much for sharing this very beautiful and interesting video, dear Mary Ellen !😘... It was a great pleasure to watch it to the end !😍👍106 Wish You a Happy New Year 2022, my friend !🍾✨🥂 Warmest greetings, Arlette
Best video and most thorough information on the care of Peace Lilies. Truly excellent and very helpful. I love Peace Lilies and I’ve grown them for years. Many thanks for the time and efforts you put in to making this video! 👌🪴🥰
Very Informative. Will keep as my go to problems. I keep both of my peace lilies in the bathroom. Is it ok to make that area their home ? Could you or someone help me. I've had them for three weeks. Thank you for the video.
As long as they are looking healthy, the bathroom should be fine. If you need more detailed care check out my post here: moodybloomsco.com/peace-lily-problems/
Hello! Thank you for your valuable content. I was wondering, (as I don't believe you mentioned it in the video, sorry if I missed it!) when necessary, where should a leaf be cut? At the very base of the stem? Or...? Thank you in advance for your reply.
Great question...I don't think it was covered. If you are cutting a leaf off I would cut as close as the base as possible. It won't ever grow back a new leaf on that stem, so may as well get rid of it. It will brown and die off anyway.
I have a large peace lily. I always wait for it to start drooping before I water it. I give it 3 quarts of water. Peace lily leaves also turn yellow from too much sun

You need to feed it potassium. Soak banana skins in bottle of water for about 2 days. Lilies like potassium. Try it!
Try banana peel water 💧
@@kiemer13put water in fridge when you soak it?

Great explanation. Thorough. I appreciate all the details. Only one suggestion: add chapters! Easier to navigate. Subscribed

Thank you for having timestamps! 😀
You’re welcome 😊
I love peace lilies! This is great information. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Awwww thanks Elizabeth! That means so much to me!
Yay! I’m so glad they are thriving!
Thanks so much, my poor peace lily suffered many of those problems due to changing homes..I really appreciate your simple and thorough way to detect, diagnose and solve all those problems.
Same!
You are so welcome Reham! Thanks for watching!
Great video! Far more understandable than most. My poor peace lilywas moved to a different part of the house and started to die. This video helped me to understand my peace lily so much more 🙏
Thanks Tanya!
@@moodyblooms Thank you!! I almost threw away my favorite plant before I saw your video 🙏❤️

Thank you - very helpful. We have moved to an area with very hard water and have a built in water softener. I think both of the "hard" and "soft" water have not been very good for my peace lily. I may start trying my filtered water and distilled water. Well, anyway, I have a few new options to try after this video! Thanks again.
Thanks for stopping by!
This showed up in my feed and I was stunned. My mil has this sitting on the table in front of me right now!! Soooo glad I came across this!
Yay! Thank you! Cheers!
I appreciate the info. I can pretty much grow anything on the outside but this plant is really hard to care for inside of my home. It just feels like no matter what you do it’s not working to help the plant to thrive. I’m sure I just don’t know what I’m doing but wow.
I am sorry to hear it is giving you some trouble! Hope it improves soon!
This video is so thorough! Thank you for your time spent making it!!
Aww thanks so much for your kind words! Glad you enjoyed it!
Yes a sliding glass door can be quite cold for plants next to it in winter. I hope your plants are doing well!
@@moodyblooms thank you! I moved them all back a bit after this comment (with my peace lily across the room) and they all seem much happier!
Yay! I’m happy to hear that. 💚🌳💚
@@moodyblooms Thank you for Everything!
WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING?
I am so happy to hear that! Great job on bringing it back to life.
Oh good! Soil that is too wet is never good!
Very good and thorough video! Best plant video I have seen! Please make more

Appreciated the note about aeration.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I have gone through all these situations and learnt a lot now.
Glad it was helpful!

I've had a peace lily for the years , and it has never bloomed, even though it is very healthy looking with lush green leaves.
It may just need more light. Peace lily can still grow nice and healthy in lower light situations, but needs increased light to flower.

I would suggest checking the soil before watering again. They will use less water in winter vs summer so keep that in mind. Happy Planting!
Soo comprehensive !! Thanks a lot.
You are welcome!
Sure wish I could send a picture on here. My peace lily was on the grave of a very dear friend. I’m doing all I can but the majority of the leaves a brown from the tip up to half way the leaf.

Beautiful Lily flower
Many many thanks
Doing research for a friend, this video is very informative. Just how often should peace lillies be watered ?
The plant will droop a bit when thirsty, telling you when it needs a drink. If you pay attention to when it usually starts to sag, you can plan to water one day before it generally happens. Peace lilies need consistently moist soil, but they definitely don't like to sit in standing water. Whenever the top inch of soil is dry, water the plant until the overflow starts to come out of the bottom of the container. Wait until it stops draining, then set the pot back in its saucer.
Thank you very much! It's was very useful to me. 💖
Thanks!

@@moodyblooms you’re welcome ☺️
great informative video , I have a peace lily which has 2 flower buds for weeks
that don't open , why is that ? thanks
Amazing! I love to hear that. Thanks for sharing Mary.
That is so cool! They love that climate!
Brilliant video thankyou for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you so much, very helpful. What do you do if you suspect a fungal infection? Mine has been developing yellow spots on the leaves. Thanks!
Wow....tempting❤
Thanks a lot 😊

Just acquired my first peace lilly. My husband's memaw passed and we were gifted this beautiful plant. Thank you for these expert tips! My daughter named it "Bob" 💓
Awww I love this! And Bob is a perfect name!
Have you tried the sticky yellow traps?
Thank you. A very in depth video. Hopefully I've got it sussed now. 🙏😊

Hi Great info
Please what type of fertiliser do I yiu use for peace lily
Thanks
amzn.to/3FAH7xr works great!
Thank you for this video. I have two and both have black and yellow leaves. Going to check the roots and repot.
Thanks for watching!
Most impressed. Thank you for your expertise! :)

Excellent video! What about Peace Lilies that are in water and not dirt? How do I keep it healthy?
Peace Lilies can survive anywhere between three to five years and sometimes even longer as long as you provide some nutrients and replace water regularly. Distilled water and hydroponic fertilizer work best. Change the water out every two weeks, scrubbing any algae out of the container. You should also monitor the pH and keep it between 5.8 and 6.5.
Thank You so much for sharing this very beautiful and interesting video, dear Mary Ellen !😘... It was a great pleasure to watch it to the end !😍👍106

@@moodyblooms I saw a leaf being cut at 5:32. Is that what should be done with brown tips?
Excellent presentation
