I have yet to get a peace lily. I did nurse my friends moms Lily back to health. It was one she got from an uncles funeral so I’m soo glad I kept it living for her. I love when I can help someone with there plants.✌🏾☮️✌🏾☮️✌🏾☮️
I do love a peace lily. 🌱 I love that you did this video because while peace lilies are usually labeled common they are no less beautiful if you can keep them happy. I have 3 that I’ve had for about 5 years and the more they grow their just more stunning. They will definitely challenge your problem solving skills but great suggestions on watering according to your conditions. ☮️🌱
I've had my domino peace lily for a number of years now and it grows like a weed. It now fills a 10 inch pot and constantly gives me blooms. But the leaves on mine are thin and wavy ( rippled?) with lovely huge, pure white segments. It came with a tag that said "domino" so I had to assume that's what it is. The leaves on your domino look different than mine but mine could have been mislabeled. could have been mislabeled. I also have a peace lily "sensation" that also grows like a weed. I uppotted it in june and it will have to be uppotted again in spring. It's fast outgrowing it's 6 inch pot.

Sup Jackie. Love the Jessica. I want one. I have a usual green and a baby domino. I find a day before the droop, the leaves get soft and stems a little less bouncy if that makes sense 🤔. That is the day I water and I not longer have any brown tips. Tricky part is the days are inconsistent but it’s about every 2-3 weeks depending on the season.

My almost 5-year-old Peace Lily died a few months ago. I confirm - inconsistent watering.☮✌
Omg I have grown to love peace lilies so much. Thanks to your videos I found a sad domino peace lily at Lowe's I took it home and watered it. Overnight it had sprung to life. Eventually the roots ate all the soil, lol. I repotted it and what do you know it flowered 🥹 first flower in a while. I have the domino, platinum, Jessica, silver and my original one now, lol. I love the self watering pots for these babies. It's working wonders on my domino may need to get more for the other ones

I had one in a mystery box, but idk if it can revert because the leaf that unfurled after I got it, doesn’t look variegated at all, and the new leaf got damaged while growing 😢 I’m hoping when it unfurls in the next few days, that it’s actually got visible variegation :/

I love my domino drama queen too, but that watering is serious. I probably need to repot it just to upgrade its soil since it is also a nutrient vampire 😂. Got it a little over a year ago and has less textures leaves than my friend's same plant, so some variation.

How often do you change the soil? I'm a total plant newbie. I have a domino peace lily that I got around a year ago and I repotted it around 10 months ago in June because the leaves kept turning yellow. It was thriving for about 8 months after the re-pot, and then the leaves started to turn brown (not just the tips). I just repotted again today into a smaller pot with more drainage because there was about 3 inches of soil under the roots so I assumed it was a drainage issue, but I kept the same soil in the new pot. Should I have changed the soil? And how often?

What type of grow light do you recommend for Peace Lilies? I keep seeing all kinds of varying opinions on the light meter readings etc. I have a light meter too so I just want to know the best and what other PL owners use! :)

My variegated peace lily is only growing stick size leaves. So it looks like grass in a pot. It’s getting bright indirect light and I’m on top of the watering. It’s constantly growing but just literally thing leaves. Like skewers
Do you feed regularly? It might be a nutrient deficiency. If you do feed, it might be the pH of your water or something you're adding that may be pulling nutrients out of the water and/or making them unavailable to the plant. Think of the soil like your gut. It has to have a healthy microbiome for the plant to thrive!
