'Jazz' Trumpet Variations on 'Good King Wenceslas'

  • A series of 'jazz' or 'light' Variations for solo Trumpet/Flugelhorn on the Christmas Carol 'Good King Wenceslas' arranged and performed by Alex Brain.
    Recorded in St. Clements Church, London, on 14th December 2020. All clips were recorded in a 'live' environment and there has been no editing to the audio whatsoever.
    Alex was using a B&S Challenger II PCL trumpet with Warburton PC2D/12* and PC2M/8* mouthpieces and a Yamaha 8310Z Flugelhorn with a JK Exclusive 7C mouthpiece.

    This mans plays his trumpet/cornet/ Idk what type of horn you used in this video some sort of French horn thing and its just great. I think the scream was my favorite just cause the high note at the end which was a high C I think. I'm bad at remembering the note names but keep up the great videos and playing.

      Its a flugelhorn...The last note is concert F, which is a G on a Bb trumpet
