Great overview, thanks! Looking forward to your review after your kids have tried it out. Curious which apps or features on the watch you/they feel like are most useful, and if you feel like the SE price is worth it for a kid

Is it really possible that Apple doesn't release the GPS Version for family sharing? That would be some mega information. Or can someone help me? Thank you guys.
Great video- Question - I have all this set up and and it works great for wife n son. BUT - I was told they could unpair (keep cellular) from my host phone and re-pair with an old phone (not on a plan anymore) and everything will still work. Which would be great Cus then they could get texts n FaceTime etc on all devices. Any idea how to make that work?
Ok so me and my brother are getting a apple watch SE 2 in 2 months and i have some questions because we dont have a iphone and its gonna connect to my dads phone via family sharing or whatever its called. its also both gonna be the cellular version and by t mobile if that helps answer my questions. and we all have different icloud accounts if that helps. ok so first question- if me and my brother connects to the same iphone (my dads) will we still be able to both download apps and games like spotify and chess as i heard they work on apple watches, and if so please tell me how to do it so i can tell my dad. second question- will all features of apple watch still work (including the downloading of third party apps as said by first question) i will ask more question if i need to later on. Hi Jerad, thanks for this movie. Do you know how to migrate to new iPhone with Watch Family Plan? As normal? Unpair watch, make backup and configurate on new iPhone from the beginning?

Feb 2023- currently at a AT&T store. They said that you cannot have two sailor watches on one cellular phone. I don’t want to watch his number synced to one phone. I want to be able to give one to my son and have them text me or call me. I can pair it with my phone but it is not go anywhere else to be on the cellular. So what is the deal with this set up?
You can have multiple watch is connected to one phone, but you can only use one watch with one phone. The family setup option is simply to set up additional watches. They do not connect to your phone except for adjusting settings just as I show in this video, so, AT&T is correct in the fact that you can only have one watch connected to one phone but wrong or because you can set up additional watches, using your phone with the family setup feature.

Hey Jerad, good video. Do you know if the setup is different if the watch is for mom/grandma?
It is not all of the steps are the same and you do still need to make a “kids” account for iCloud
So, from my understanding, the cellular part of it cannot sync to a phone. It can only be used under Wi-Fi of some sort.
I’m 10 and have a charge 3
And I might get this with the family’s internet provider because both me and my mom want one
