I've heard similar complaints from disabled people, especially wheelchair users. So many people think it's appropriate to just grab someone's wheelchair handles and push them to a random spot, regardless of whether they actually wanted any help or were even planning to go there. A friend of mine even removed the handles from his chair to discourage this, and people started pushing on his back instead.

I was getting ready for the gym and busted out laughing in my bathroom at that part. I was not expecting them to throw the 'old lady' into the graveyard.
as someone who's filmed skits outside, it's always interesting. everyone has a different reaction. in one skit I had a fake gun pointed at my friend and some old lady started laughing, which was even funnier.
two things: First its hilarious that old lady Emily was brought to the cemetery. Second you should also tell as a side note the difference between a tortoise and a turtle bc I've seen a couple of people mistaking tortoise as turtle and accidently drowning them by returning it to the pond/lake.

Emily and Ed, I just want to say thank you for all the education you provide. It unexpectedly came in handy today at work, when we discovered a poor pet turtle that was dumped by the road(!) It was real sad, he was just tossed in the grass in the hot sun. Luckily a passer by noticed him and stopped. Thanks to you I knew how to safely pick him up and see that he was not well. We contacted a reptile rehab and they will take him in. You never know when watching reptile videos on youtube comes in handy ; )
I hope you guys realise just how much you're really teaching younger generations to care and take care of animals. You make learning fun for them, and my nieces and nephews have learned so much from you. You're making a real difference and I hope you know how much we all appreciate it.

I was in brainerd Minnesota and there was this huge snapping turtle crossing the road. Maybe 30-40 pounds it was huge. This thing walked a little slow but holy hell is it quick to bite and they have quite the reach. I helped it across the road even though it was trying to kill me with it's dinosaur looking self 😂
Dude I had a similar experience but this bugger was three feet across and in a residential area. Almost got me even though I picked it up as close to the tail as possible. I thought it would swing around sideways, but the up and back bite was the most surprising!

Honestly though I’d do it all again, it had no injury/no marks on the road indicating a hit, and I’m glad I got to help a dinosaur go on its merry way and exist a while longer in its refuge amongst suburban hell
I think it would have been weird to carry a young person dressed like an old person into a nursing home in the best of times. Plus most nursing homes are still under pandemic rules so it was safer for all around to go to the wide openess of a graveyard.

I actually never knew any of this and this was a very good way of explaining it in a way that is easily understandable. As a kid my grandfather worked at a big auto shop on large vehicles such as semis and there was a big mossy yellow bellied slider in the parking lot that he picked up and put in a box so that it wasn’t hit since it was in the back of a large fenced in lot in a heavily trafficked area. As the employees didn’t know what to do with it he brought it home and we brought it to a stream in a nearby park and had named him old snapper (he wasn’t a snapping turtle just a very unhappy turtle). Now knowing this as an adult I feel horrible when at the time we were simply trying to relocate a seemingly lost turtle from a dangerous area. I sent this video to my other family members so that hopefully if anyone finds a turtle in a precarious situation again we know to either let it be or to simply place it nearby where it intends to go

Last week, I found a baby map turtle who blended right in to the asphalt path to a forest preserve & I’m certain he would’ve gotten crushed because cyclers fly through, and I thought to myself “what would Emily do?” So I just picked it up & moved it in the direction was going and wished him a long life 💚
