- We're finally working in the zoo again! Enclosures are getting decorated, lights are beginning to be installed, etc. But don't worry, there are plenty of shenanigans in-between ;)

meh, i think it's a different personalities thing. ed seems pretty lowkey and as a fellow pretty lowkey person, i'd probably sink into the ground for the rest of time if fifty people jumped out and wished me a happy birthday. in my eyes a perfect birthday is spent reading a book or working on something i'm passionate about! i just assumed it was the same for ed. :P

I love watching your channel, I've always loved snakes and was always the girl going "Ooh a snake!" and catching Garters on the playground. My father was a forester (before he had a mid-life crisis and became a laywer) and he taught my siblings and I what snakes were safe to handle and how to handle them, and what snakes to leave be. When I was in high school I would remove and relocate snakes from my neighbor's house since she was petrified of snakes. One February, she found a baby eastern rat snake in her basement and to keep it safe, I rescued it and kept it for six weeks till it was warm enough to let if go free. I've always loved snakes. I hope to one day have a breeding set of Garters and Mexican Black Kingsnakes.
