Colter wall and Tyler Childers just to name a couple of singers that bring back the story telling country I love. Definitely keep up the singing man 👍👍
Here I am again trying to learn this amazing song. Very good your version man, excellent lesson. I feel lost here in Brazil enjoying these songs so good. Thanks brow!
You absolutely owned that dude, I'm only just learning it now gonna head over to your tutorial. Love the little riffs added and your voice was on point. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks man. I’m think of uploading a take two. It’s a lot better now than it was in that video. I’m also trying to get a couple tutorials filmed. Been having some issues tho
Thanks man. Yea it took me awhile to get down. Had a lot of minor tweaks that took a lot of time to get it as close to his sound as I could. I put a tutorial up too if you haven’t seen it and still are trying to figure some things out. Hopefully it helps if you need it.
Corbyn Ziemer Thankyou very much. Me too! Colters my favorite artist right now. And I’ve actually been working on nothin on and off. That will be one I’ll be posting for sure. Keep an eye out for it
Brett Little It’s just a open a, hammer on pull off second fret a, pick third fret e, pick open a, pick third fret e pick second fret e open e. Basically just a walk down. On the hammer on a do a slight bend and the first time you pick e on the third fret do a slight bend.
This is an excellent and outstanding cover!! Great job. I would like to see you mic your vocals because your lower tones really hit on this song. Also you were exceptionally clean on the riffs and fills.
Thankyou man. Yea I would like to run an amp and a mic but I don’t have the stuff for it. My guitar doesn’t work on an amp right now cuz the aux hookup is screwed up.
palmer grigsby I actually just posted a whole tutorial like 2 days ago. I’m not good at teaching guitar tho so it’s not very good but it should do the job.
Carlyle Stewart I’m not sure. I looked for one before I started working on the cover and I don’t think I found one so I watched a video of colter performing it live and just went off that. A person on here asked for a tutorial so I’m gonna work on one. It’s not gonna be great because I’ve never really taught guitar and have never been taught so I’m not very good at it but I think I’m gonna make one for this song.
Dillon Thankyou. Workin on one now. Just realized I can only post like 7 min videos without a computer so I’m having to do it in parts. It’s coming soon tho
Tristan Hayes No I don’t have a resource and I don’t know how to write tab. I guess I could learn and send like pictures and stuff but I am workin on a tutorial. I couldn’t find anything on this song and people are having the same issue so I’m gonna post a tutorial if that will help.
Thankyou. And it’s was more then likely stokers wintergreen. That’s what I can afford in Wisconsin. Lol. These tobacco prices up here aren’t like back home in Indiana. Cope wintergreen is over 8 bucks a can in Wisco. Stokers used to be 4.86 now it’s 6.21.
ryan damn that’s still high. Indiana was cheap and Kentucky was super cheap. 3.24 for cope wintergreen or mint and 5.45 for cope snuff or long cut all day everyday in Indiana. I don’t remember what southern blend was. But Kentucky was even cheaper than that. Next time I go down Home I’m buying like $200 worth of dip.
@@zarekmichalski4995 yes please make a tutorial. I can't find anything useful about strum patterns, chords, or anything.lol great job on this cover by the way!
Gary Christian Thankyou. And yes I couldn’t find anything on it either. I had to watch like 3 different videos of colter playing it and pause it a thousands times. But I’m gonna make one. It’s not gonna be very good but it will prob do the job I hope. I’m not good at teaching.
Pale Rider Thankyou. It’s just a open a, hammer on pull off second fret a, pick third fret e, pick open a, pick third fret e pick second fret e open e. Basically just a walk down. On the hammer on a do a slight bend and the first time you pick e on the third fret do a slight bend.
Pale Rider 4th fret fourth string hit once hammer on to fifth fret hit twice, middle and ring finger on 4th string and 3rd string second fret pinky on 1st string 3rd fret, hit 4 and 3 once then down up down up, lift ring finger hit 3rd string once down up down up, hit 4th string done up down up hammer on 5th string second fret down up down up then back to middle and ring finger 5th and 4th on second fret.
I thought this was really good. I did think that the vocals were a little low in volume compared to how loud the guitar was. You should re do it with louder vocals. I did think it was really good though.
I appreciate the kind words and constructive criticism. This along with a couple others I am working on re doing since I’ve had a lot of time to work on them and my voice has matured and playing has gotten better. And I do agree with you. Vocals are kinda quiet compared to the guitar.
Colter wall and Tyler Childers just to name a couple of singers that bring back the story telling country I love. Definitely keep up the singing man 👍👍
Super stoked you enjoy the videos! Actually gonna be posting a Childers song probably tomorrow if not then Tuesday for sure.

Sick bro this is good. Your guitar is 10/10 and I like the little changes you made to vocals and music

What is that beautiful riff you play after “in the cold rolling waters”
Brett Little It’s just a open a, hammer on pull off second fret a, pick third fret e, pick open a, pick third fret e pick second fret e open e. Basically just a walk down. On the hammer on a do a slight bend and the first time you pick e on the third fret do a slight bend.

Robert Lee Thankyou sir!!
Dude could you do a video teaching the guitar chords and progressions?
palmer grigsby I actually just posted a whole tutorial like 2 days ago. I’m not good at teaching guitar tho so it’s not very good but it should do the job.
Well I couldn’t have asked at a better time 🤣

Yes sir. It shows.
Mark Smith what shows? Sorry I’m confused
@@zarekmichalski4995 Your hard work.
Hell ya dude. This is good.
Great job. Gonna learn this next
Carlyle Stewart Thankyou. It’s pretty simple really. Just takes some time to get it smooth.
Zarek Wellington is there a tutorial online?
Carlyle Stewart I’m not sure. I looked for one before I started working on the cover and I don’t think I found one so I watched a video of colter performing it live and just went off that. Can you publish tabs for this song? Or do you have a resource ?
Tristan Hayes No I don’t have a resource and I don’t know how to write tab. I guess I could learn and send like pictures and stuff but I am workin on a tutorial. I couldn’t find anything on this song and people are having the same issue so I’m gonna post a tutorial if that will help.
Tristan Hayes if you would like I could write some tabs that might work for you if the tutorial doesn’t work.
@@zarekmichalski4995 Thanks for the tutorial

Jesus chrsut dude, this is imsane!
My favorite song by far. By the way, what chords did you play after "cold rolling waters" at the 1:55 point?
Pale Rider Thankyou. It’s just a open a, hammer on pull off second fret a, pick third fret e, pick open a, pick third fret e pick second fret e open e. Basically just a walk down. On the hammer on a do a slight bend and the first time you pick e on the third fret do a slight bend.
Zarek Wellington Thank you, I found that part really awesome sounding
Pale Rider your welcome. And yes all those little licks that get thrown in on the studio version are so badass. Makes the song In my opinion.
Zarek Wellington Another question if you don't mind.. I could never figure out the chords that you would play between 2:22 and 2:29, what are they?
Pale Rider 4th fret fourth string hit once hammer on to fifth fret hit twice, middle and ring finger on 4th string and 3rd string second fret pinky on 1st string 3rd fret, hit 4 and 3 once then down up down up, lift ring finger hit 3rd string once down up down up, hit 4th string done up down up hammer on 5th string second fret down up down up then back to middle and ring finger 5th and 4th on second fret.
Wow you killed that! You sound just like colter lol
Jacob and Jayce Thankyou very much. But idk about that. He’s got a one of a kind voice
Great fucking voice.
