I was there sitting listening to you, but I know the two of you personally so much more now. Sincere, and loving and caring. The real deal!! Love you guys!!!
I love that you posted this. It brings me back to when I saw you on stage… The first time I got to meet you both. It’s been all celebration of this WOE from there! Thanks for being part of my journey.
Fantastic video, I love you all and your powerful testimonies ( and I agree…..if you can lose 100 lbs in a few weeks, you’re in big trouble (say NO to whacky 👽 diets lol 😆)
I would definitely recommend an RMR as well, I gained 50 lbs in 3 months going into depression and thought I ruined my metabolism. The RMR is a breathing test. How accurate it is, I have no idea but I am losing weight based on the calories they told me I burned. Anywho glad to be back on keto, where I feel literally my best.
Rachel, those heavy shots of you show you were a whole other person in those days. Same with Joe. That is how I feel about my fat photos - a whole different person. My brain worked differently, my feelings were different, my whole life was different. When I was looking to lose weight in the past, I would decide on the diet I could do for awhile, do it, lose the weight and then go off it and immediately gain it back. The grapefruit diet, the I Love NY diet, the ice cream diet, you name it. I had to decide that I had to commit to the plan, not just say I will diet.I had to commit to keeping the weight off. I had to commit to a different lifestyle. I had to commit. If I did not commit, I would just do some stupid diet and lose a few pounds but it wasn’t sustainable. It was no do-able for longer than a couple of weeks. I couldn’t even go a month. I couldn’t even go 2 weeks. These days I do eat some carbs, BUT I eat half the amount at a sitting. Then I eat low carb the rest of the day. I do not end the day with several candies. I do not end the day with 2 bowls of ice cream. I serve myself a tiny amount in the morning, eat it, enjoy it. Then I’ll;; go weeks without doing that. I never would’ve been able to think of NOT eating it forever. I have learned to control myself. This is what works for me. As the years go on I eat less and less. Problem is I work in a bakery. I see it. If I am stressed out I will eat some BUT not all, not a lot. A bite or two. I never would’ve been able to do that years ago. I am slowly getting rid of it all in my system. Sometimes I go weeks without any,, no issue. If I want a bit, I have it. I do not feel guilty. That helps to not feel guilt.
I am genuinely curious to hear your thoughts on this scenario: I did keto (correctly) for 4+ years. I never really lost weight doing just keto, I only lost when I did extreme fasting (OMAD). After some time I started gaining weight, losing hair, experienced extreme exhaustion & food intolerances. My blood sugar #'s started getting too high (T2D range) and I NEVER in 4 years got into ketosis. I felt horrible. I started adding carbs back over the past 1.5 years and have started to feel better....however I gained even MORE weight and am very puffy. I am reluctant to go back on Keto because of the EXTREME restriction and the rise in cortisol I experienced. I see a lot of influencers adding carbs back now and I am playing with the idea of doing Keto for 2 months and going off for 1 month then going back. How have you been able to do keto for so long and not experience these issues? What would you say about my experience?
Glad it's a "humble" opinion that you needed to tell Joe. He could wear MC Hammer pants and would be beautiful because his heart is the only thing anyone should be looking at.
You are so right about taking pictures. There are no pictures at all of me when I was heavy, so like 15 to 20 years of nothing.
You guys make me cry so often my husband just looks at me and says 2kk? Lol! Love everything! #Keepstruggling!

Hi, 2KK!
❤
😃💜
Joe and Dr B. Men over 40 should not wear skinny jeans. imho 🤷♀️
Joe was almost in a wheelchair, so maybe he's just celebrating being able to wear some fun styles that he missed out on
That's all you got outta this??
Maybe don't look if you don't like it 🤷🏻♀️ imho
Glad it's a "humble" opinion that you needed to tell Joe. He could wear MC Hammer pants and would be beautiful because his heart is the only thing anyone should be looking at.
Anyone can wear skinny jeans, there’s no ad for skinny Jeans that specifies “only under 40” he looks great.
