It's extremely refreshing to see three Chinese gentleman discussing China and the Chinese government system on a western social media platform. I've been to China a couple of times and have been blown away at what the Chinese people and CPC have achieved. China is a truly amazing country. It would be wonderful to hear more about the structure of the CPC (I believe Dr Eric Li has a ted talk about this subject which was extremely interesting) for us westerners it would highly informative I think, the so called 'Unicorns' and 'little giants' would also be very interesting and how to invest in a future BYD like Charlie Munger did many years ago. Keep up the great work, I've subscribed to the channel, I'm looking forward to the next episode.

Not going to lie though, I’m not too interested in hearing about the Third Plenum, but the little insights here and there on other topics & your personal lives & stories were nice to listen to. 👍 Comprehensively bring back reform and opening-up!
Quite right! Don't get too serious. A little anecdotal personal stories like travelling thru the US in Feb anticipating a US travel ban was interesting.
This is good, to have educated chinese discussing and debating issues in English. A lot of china issues are lost in translation which causes misunderstanding.

Haha, hogging the mic, that's what I thought 2 episodes ago too. He needs to let his thoughts settle before speak and when he speak, speak slowly, don' t swallow words. This is a talk show with some serious subjects, you need to engage the audience not putting them off.
yeah but Zichen is SUPER knowledgeable.... he writes the newsletter Pekinology, which you can get for free (I believe) by email, and it's just so informed... the guy's brain is always on overdrive. I think he's very clear too. I like listening to him
If china is to become international its needs more English discussion.
