There’s a lot wrong here. Bryars is not a normal 180. With a Precision instrument it three taps. It’s basically a 150 with desperado at that point. Also, the fusion is amazing in PVP with slickdraw because high impact fusions, don’t use much aim assist and they’re real limiting factor is handling and charge rate. My biggest gripe with Locus (full disclaimer, I haven't shot it much), is it's a lesser stat-ed Thoughtless, the also craftable stasis, 90 RPM sniper. It even has the same overflow/firing line best PvE perk combination. We are lacking in sooo many other categories non sunset in game, let alone craftable options. It's also not the first time, I don't see how Bungie keeps missing on this
“Are the new guns any good BC older guns got nerfed just now.”. Well, yes, it’s good because they just nerfed everything else. And buffed these in various ways including via i interaction. Me: this is why I don’t play anymore
Had the luxury playing a round of Spire with Him. My dudes breezes like through the level like flash. I was wondering if he was the original AscendantNomad
Semiotician with Bipod and Envious assassins lets you have 6 rockets in mag, from gameplay I've had about 50k+ direct hit damage. Obviously not best in slot but still a decent option for a craftable
I'm having an extreme issue with my weapons in destiny, specifically for trials. I'm not great at pvp, I'm not even going to pretend I am. I have gone flawless before though and have a momento still in my inventory. I want a crafted weapon that I can use with the momento. I know what the "objectively" better options are, but then it feels boring. However if I pick a different weapon it will always be gnagging at the back of my head that I'm not using the best choice I could be, and I know I will feel it. So what should I do, be boring and use something like the ammit? Or just say fuck it and use something crazy, regardless of if it's the best option?
I disagree with your assessment of the Compulsive Reloader/Resevoir Burst Eremite in PvE. I've found it to be quite good at add clear, if you're used to the firing pace of Aggressive Fusion frames.
I don't know why but I hate the feel of the hand cannon, and it sucks that that's the case, I want to like it. I'm using controller but I don't think that means much here, I bet even amongst those who are also on that control pattern I'm still in the minority.
When i looked at all those new guns, i got more and more disappointed with the awful perks they gave them. Every gun looks like it was intended to be a purely pvp gun, but then the stats look awful, and the perks dont have a good synergy. For the few pve perk combinations, you might as well pick up anything else that has the same frame and element, becaue it has, a VAST majority of the time, better perk combos. So sad to see potential get ruined every. fuckin. season. every. fucking. patch. every. fucking. time.
Bryas love is great, when it comes to energy scouts I dont find many i stick with. Since i got a kinetic tremor hung jury ive stuck with that however what ive really enjoyed is Bryas love with Explosive payload combining with void class. When volatile rounds proc the explosive rounds will hit multiple enemies thus massive spreading volatile explosions. Definitely a keeper once i can craft it.
Kept Confidence might _feel_ good, but the perks are pretty bad. Spare Rations may not be in a great spot, but it still has better perks than that thing. I wouldn't really call it an "excellent alternative" to Austringer either. Now that Bungie is doing the exotic mission rotator, all people need to do is play Presage whenever it pops up (as long as they own Beyond Light) and they'll eventually be able to craft an Austringer (and everything else from that season).
Yeah new guns all mid. If they gave the Sniper Snapshot I would’ve at least been a bit excited but ya don’t come close to season of the haunted with Austringer, Beloved, Drang and Calus mini tool.
how do y'all miss the big thing about the MG? go visit nezarec, add in something like the fragment that removes reload when you throw the grenade. now throw in one or two of the arc ammo reserves on. you can throw on some surge mods if you have some spare space. zen moment and target lock built would be best, add some stability. take someone with you that has the godlike or whatever the lasergun is called in english, and watch nezarec melt. i had 3.5 million damage with random trash perks on the MG. can't wait for our next rodeo, now that i've built the damage monster i expect it to be. the MG with two ammo reserve mods has something like 686 bullets. and you can craft it with 110 in the mag. it's basiclly an alternative to the dönerlord, so to maybe keep your exo slot for something else.
For eremite pvp give slickdraw a try. You can stat it for full range and stability while knowing your handling is maxed. I use it with void with elemental capacitor but on other classes I guess you'd go cornered. To be fair I dont have a glaciocasm, so Its my only high impact option but I like it
Imo, an Eremite with com loader and res burst is top tier for taking out hive wizards and killing stunned champions (if not doing so outright.) I find it a good second place compared to my Jotuun. Then again, I hardly have any top tier gear so I'm using what I can get
Confused why people dont seem to be giving keep away/opening shot love on Locutus. That thing is stacked with bonus range and sim assist. Sure you have to lean more heavily on your loadout to makeup the handling but seems like ot could be very good espeically stacking ta😊rgeting mods.
This is very helpful since even though I've been playing since destiny 1 days, I've never felt involved enough to consider weapons and certain builds. Honestly I still forget weapons have alternative stats to use
"Filler weapons" like these are still very important for the overall health of the game and for players who don't or can't access the endgame often, new or returning players, or players who play casually or are disconnected from the online meta discussion of the game. And, sometimes, you just want a gun that looks a certain way and has a particular sound/feel, regardless of whether it has 2 fewer stats than some other gun in its same archetype.
I haven't used a scout rifle in a minute. After using Bryan's Love, not only do i like the aesthetic, but it just feels...so right in my hands. I give it A tier.
I like Kept Confidence, but Austringer is better in pretty much every stat. I tried it out in PvP fully crafted and it felt like it wasn't hitting shots as often
I think the seasonal weapons are mostly mid. Each one could find use in the right build but I feel like we have been let down by bungie with the seasonal guns. One weapon that has shocked me in pvp is nightshade. I tried a few rolls amd didn't think it was good but then I got keep away headseeker with 78 stability and I fell in love. It performs very well and I love the feel of it and it has pushed me to maining lightweight pulses along with syncopation as they have a lot better aim assist and stats now that bungie has nerfed my all time favorite pulses like the messenger
Bungie has been fumbling the bag with seasonal weapons lately. Their perk combos are just so bad and mediocre compared to what we used to get. Nothing last season or this season has been remotely exciting to get for me. Like what happened to making good loot in a looter shooter?
I love the new machine gun in pve, even if its perks are bit... weird. Plus it has the looks. It just feels nice to use. Glad I got the blueprint quickly.
kept confidence feels so good, but collective action feels so bad on strand to me. the tangle cd is so long, often you'd just rather shoot a tangle instead of picking it up and sometimes your team just says "our tangle". harmony on a primary and mkc also just kinda feel icky to use to me
I used to play destiny and still watch videos but I never understood why people act like guns are so different I mean it's a couple Stat points and maybe cool perks but they're all pretty much copy pasted
You missed a really good pve roll for the fusion rifle. I had the roll on my first random drop for it and it was nasty. Envious assisin and resivour burst is a really good combo as you can get nearly all of your ammo into you meg, and most of your rounds would have the resivour burst procked for most of the meg.
Are you using wall hacks or something auto aim at around 4:10 mark your weapon just moves strange when no one is on your screen. Just really odd looking I guess. Good video

Hunters are so toxic. Invisibility and stompees need SEVERE Nerfs!!!!!
I don't know why but I hate the feel of the hand cannon, and it sucks that that's the case, I want to like it. I'm using controller but I don't think that means much here, I bet even amongst those who are also on that control pattern I'm still in the minority.
Ok, this is a REALLY good vid. You get a follow and a notification 'on'.
Clear, concise, great voice, no fluff. Brilliant.
The fact that Bungie RECOMMENDED Bipod, just shows how little they playtest their game.
To be fair I dont have a glaciocasm, so Its my only high impact option but I like it
Shooting Kept Confidence just feels so crispy, i can hip fire it and land crits!
The fusion with envious and reservoir burst is.........a blast lol
for brya's (aka badger ccl) fluted barrel/accurized rounds/keep away/explosive payload= have fun
I use Aisha's Embrace in pvp, would Brya's Love replace that well enough or should I stick.
Locus locutus with keep away/OS feels really sticky in pvp, high handling and a targeting mod or 2 can pretty much make up for not having snapshot
newish weapon models that look amazing, but of course the perks are bad... yippeeeee.......
The only one that is a niche pick for me is the sniper with discord + headstone. However a headstone bow does the same job for the most part.
Hive God Eris to Banshee 44:
"I'm something of a 'Gunsmith' myself..."
King of add clear… “SUNSHOT” 🙌🏽
Can't put my Auto-loading/Hatchling Rocket down from the last event.
This is very helpful since even though I've been playing since destiny 1 days, I've never felt involved enough to consider weapons and certain builds. Honestly I still forget weapons have alternative stats to use
I’m surprised we didn’t receive any seasonal sword or glaive this season. What with the Hive’s affinity for blades.
Titan shoulder charge needs a nerf
honestly the lmg should have been strand instead of arc, it could have been so good, much like EVERY weapon this season
Im so glad they brought back Truesight IS from D1 for Brya's Love
You changed the thumbnail 😂
Ngl I wasn't gonna watch the vid just cause of the thumbnail, but the new one made me reconsider
Nah Kept Confidence ain't it. Rose spoiled me. I can not pick up another kinetic hand cannon. They all just feel like shit compared.
Nothing says Bungie more than 5 weapons reskinned for the 10th time labeled and marketed as "new weapons"
I cannot say locus locutus without feeling like im having a stroke
I love the new machine gun in pve, even if its perks are bit... weird. Plus it has the looks. It just feels nice to use. Glad I got the blueprint quickly.
Same. I got mine crafted at level 11 now. Gonna kit it out to be my ad clear weapon so I can run double special like my one-two ragnhild and iterative
Very good insights. My experience was similar. I will use the scout rifle, but that is about all.
kept confidence feels so good, but collective action feels so bad on strand to me. the tangle cd is so long, often you'd just rather shoot a tangle instead of picking it up and sometimes your team just says "our tangle". harmony on a primary and mkc also just kinda feel icky to use to me
I used to play destiny and still watch videos but I never understood why people act like guns are so different I mean it's a couple Stat points and maybe cool perks but they're all pretty much copy pasted
The legendaries are sublimely adequate, that is to say all but one, the new 600 rpm stasis smg is kinda crazy with target lock
Woah woah, on bipod they are buffing it FYI. I think it will be amazing for add clear
Kept Confidence is the most fun I've had with a new Hand Cannon in ages.
Semiotician can generate Tangles with AoE damage and you can fire 2 rounds without reloading.
You missed a really good pve roll for the fusion rifle. I had the roll on my first random drop for it and it was nasty. Envious assisin and resivour burst is a really good combo as you can get nearly all of your ammo into you meg, and most of your rounds would have the resivour burst procked for most of the meg.
New map looks fun. I might have to play crucible this season….nah
Are you using wall hacks or something auto aim at around 4:10 mark your weapon just moves strange when no one is on your screen. Just really odd looking I guess. Good video
I don't know why, but for me, average weapons feel amazing and I do really well with them
Ngl, I don’t like any of them, if they had different combination of perks I’d get them but not how they are
The answer to this video is no they all suck. Play another game. I recommend Remnant 2.
