  • The 8 Brocades (a.k.a. Ba Duan Jin) is one of the most popular qigong practices dating back to over 1000 years in China. As the story goes, General Yue Fei from the Song Dynasty developed the 8 Brocades as 8 different movements and exercises for his soldiers to keep their bodies strong, healthy, and prepared for battle. Try this routine of the fourth of the 8 brocades, "Owl Turns His Head."

WHY WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH…
So many people from all walks of life-regardless of social status or background-suffer silently from mental health and emotional wellness related issues. We believe people should no longer hide about what they feel and what they are struggling with. Rather, we believe healing happens when we honestly feel and express ourselves, take the action steps necessary to get better by getting to the root of the issue, and then find a community that honors and supports my healing process. Mental health and emotional wellness are 100% attainable and is our inherent natural state for all of us. We, at Brain Education TV, want to be your solution, your shoulder to cry on, your go-to place to turn to for constructive dialogue and resources related to mental health and emotional intelligence and wellbeing. You are NOT alone!
Brain Education is what gave us the courage to overcome our own mental health struggles and create the lives we want, and now we hope you can too through the videos we share on this channel.
