He mentioned a similar scenario on one of his other vids(forgot which one) where he instinctively shot a ring target at a split second. Really similar to this phenomenon where the human brain worked so instinctively.
weird to think we've been watching you for so many years. I really only just thought about the fact you taught me the basics of this game more than half a decade ago. I hope you make csgo content until the end of time because we'll be here to watch it xoxo
I don't take the game seriously (mostly playing Wingman with a friend) so random weapons are basically a given. I probably use an AK/M4 for one or two rounds tops. Sure, I don't WIN, but it's a lot of fun to use the less-used weapons. Especially since nobody knows how to counter a close range MAG-7 rush.
my friend and i legitimately use that as a tactic. second round on ct side vertigo we always buy mag 7 and push the enemy and if we succeed our eco is really good by the 3rd round.
This looks like it could be a lot of fun, if it was tweaked to have a higher percent chance for lower-cost weapons then it would actually become surprisingly balanced, maybe even close to competitive since with the idea of losing to luck being part of the game it wouldn't end up being too frustrating, more so funny. I mean look at Hearthstone.
Look at Fifa, frustrating as hell with many factors you can’t control Edit: what I mean is that when luck is involved you are not mad at yourself but you are mad at the game, which I think is way worse
to some extent the luck in hearthstone is guaranteed but its "evened out" over a bunch of games so overall the better player still wins. and to some extent the decks and cards are built fairly so u have counterplay in most cases barring some highroll decks which are generally terrible in wild and god draws which only happen once in a lot of games and every deck can draw well(especially given they all draw alot) so its a little different. this one seems a little less counterplay if youre on the t side and have a shotgun against rifles. and its not so improbable too, i think lowering the odds for good guns like u said is great
@@elginngzhing4026 To clear it up, I didn't mean Hearthstone is all luck-based, or that if you lose to luck in a game you can't get angry. I actually think losing to luck is super frustrating. I simply meant that if the mechanics of a game are built on luck (Which Hearthstone is, and this game mode would be as well) you can't really get upset if you lose to luck since you signed up for it when you went to play the game. If you don't like that you don't have to play it. Also, as you said, luck is fair in the sense that it will balance out eventually, so getting angry when losing to luck is hypocritical if you have also enjoyed winning from it.
Fleshing this idea out: "Swap best and worst each round" - Swap at most one player for one player each round - Ties resolved randomly - If nobody dies due to enemy action - Top damage that round swaps with lowest damage of opposing team that round - Otherwise - The first player to get a kill is swapped with - the first of the other team to die or if non such exists then - the surviving player with the lowest health
3:50 Summary: Shots 1-5: Clearly missed. Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control). Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses. Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because WarOwl was already dead.
my idea: weapons dont despawn after every round, each kill gives 300 nomatter the weapon round win +500 no other way to get money, if possible the weapons which stayed have the same amount of ammo.
@@legendsofthepitch5328 you mean the dropped ones or ones that the players are holding in their hands? Coz the ones they hold in their hands stay defaultly Idk how to make the dropped weapons not despawn tho, so I'm wrong about not needing any coding UNLESS there a command I don't know about that can make weapons not despawn(and knowing counter strike there probably is)

it's things like this that i really love, because even if you wouldn't apply these strats in a real competitive game, it gets you thinking outside of the box and lets you be creative rather than falling into the same, routine plays that everyone is used to. Honestly, like, if people actually did put in the time to develop actual strats for some of the lesser used weapons, i think it could change the way game is played somewhat. more creative strats keep your opponents on their toes and keeps your team unpredictable, something which you can massively increase your chances of winning.
literally nothing keeps people from developing these strats currently though. You can already coordinate with a team that force buys every round or has different loadouts for strategies in different maps, people don't do it cuz it's hard to consider when easier all around loadouts everyone uses works well.
This coding team sounds promising. I would love to have an option like that with the random weapons. Sounds really fun. I usually change my weapon every time I die.
I absolutely love this concept; in deathmatch or the arms race gamemodes, sure you can get/use whatever weapon u want without repercussion, but this FORCES you to make use of what you're given in a competitive match, making for, as we see, some interesting and fun strats.
