Competitive CSGO But Every Round Gets Faster

- We played a game of competitive counter-strike where every round the speed got faster & faster! Here's what happened.
To use this fun csgo command to play with your friends, enable sv_cheats on your server and then use host_timescale. We went from host_timescale 0.5 up to host_timescale 2.5 - Ігри
Warowls Rules of Counterstrike:
#1: If there are custom maps, there is a Dust2
#2: If you slightly alter any aspect of CSGO, the Negev becomes undisputed Meta.
"slightly" (plays game at double the speed)
Its so fascinating that The meta is held up by duct tape that any changes turns it into a call of duty death match
Counter-Strike is an intricate set of rules designed to keep the Negev from being viable.
Honestly these videos have me giving a lot more credit to Valve for weapon balance. Of course there are obvious and glaring problems with it in CSGO but it really is like trying to play jenga.
CSGO balance is when Negev isn't OP

@@weavorjjohanna5619 i mostly set my video speed on 1.25x/1.5x, i only use 2x when the video feels... oddly slow
then i use 0.9x when trying to find some details and quickly inspect a background :D

im glad to hear that, it definitely shows in the final product that you had fun making it, and thats what matters. small detales like the music speeding and slowing down are great
I think to some extent the reason the negev always gets better is cause its so simple, that small perturbations to gameplay dont affect its overall effectiveness, whereas with something like the AK or m4, the extreme changes in speed or what have you result in exponentiating ineffectiveness.
WarOwl, when do you think someone should start playing CSGO Comp for the first time? For example: how many hours, what sort of skills required, etc. Thanks
Greetings! It's going to depend on every person, if you come from a FPS background you'll get into it much faster, if you're completely new it's going to take a couple hundred hours probably. Just make sure you understand the flow of the game before you hop into competitive, how the game mode works, what you should be doing in normal situations (retakes, calling, etc), but to be completely honest, you can hop in competitive at any time if that's the experience you want, don't let anyone gatekeep you (you're just enjoy it more if you understand what you're getting into)

I got csgo in 2013 as one of my first pc games and hopped straight into a comp match just do you
Just start playing compi you will be queued with players of your level, if you keep improving on your aim and gamesense it will be easy to climb first few ranks, but it's a team game so try to find some homies who will grind ranks with you

I really like these videos as a person who sucks at CSGO I do love watching the game and theses videos really show just how much balance and effort is put in to CSGO to make it one of the if not the most balanced competitive FPS

Valve should genuinely add these kind of special game modes to the CS:GO. Maybe an event that changes every week.

2 or 2.5x awp only is super fun, also I’m amazed none of you tried the smoke and kit defuse strat at high speed.
One detail I like about this is how the music actually is slowed down or sped up by the speed (If it is 2.5x Faster, then the music is also 2.5x Faster).

i think showmatches at pro CS events should use these counter-strike tweaks that are in your videos, it keeps it fresh and makes it harder for one team to just sweat out of their minds. Id rather have a cool tweak on the game and watch top players react and adapt to it then just watch a bunch of top players play against each other except they’re on mismatched teams
The slow down footage from the 2.5x speed round was literally every silver game ever.
I actually find myself after watching this video my mind think about fast, I feel everything is fast for a second.
Also WarOwl please, can you do the part 2 of ' PLAYING 2012 CS:GO MAPS ', just for Vertigo, if you have other interesting old 2012 CS:GO maps do it.
