The only thing missing is the sliding. A huge part of the fluidity and feel of these kind of movement games comes from sliding and being able to keep momentum without bhopping

Interestingly, Titanfall's engine is based on a modded version of Source.
Heavily heavily modded tho, to the point they got almost nothing in common.

Wallrunning is actually less beneficial if the maps arent designed specificly for it. Titanfalls maps,excluding some bad one here (im talking about you,"trash site" aka crashsite ), were designed around x y z axis which made the map balance on both horizontality and verticality.
Edit: oh yeah and i forgot the other factor: weapons. Wallrunning open vary playstyle, shotguns which really underpowered (and most likely that way) could be meta if you know what you doing. Ex: get close quickly in correct moment and flee with wall running. I actually think that Noble Strike ( halo cs mod ) would be even more fun with their custom weapons and stuff.
Lol all that I remember of crash site is someone camping at the top of a tower with a kraber.

Zool actually isn't on staff, though there is some more more modded stuff in the pipeline.
Zool did the Halo mod and CS Classic Offensive.

Suggested rebalances to this:
- sliding
- no gun is accurate, all guns have insane recoil patterns
- sliding
- all guns 100% accurate when moving but still having recoil!
-flying
- all guns are 100% accurate when moving and no spread or recoil

that would actually be quite easy compared to other mods like these im sure. most of that would stating values and randomizing them.

I was thinking the other day of proposing a “Counter Strike but it’s Titanfall” video, but I think this is close enough. Nicely done as always
Also, I wanna see competitive counter strike, but with agents. Basically have every model linked to one weapon and one sidearm that only they can buy and make each model only available once per team. That way not everyone has a smoke for example, or not everyone has a flash, or the guy that awps has no helmet or whatever. Basically, play rainbow six but in cs

Personally I think you don't get enough props for the music choices and timing of then you put into your videos.
I'm biasedly happy whenever you use MW2 and Crypt of the Necrodancer music like at in 6:00, but there are quite a few other games music that you also use too and it's always a good choice and fit.

I've only seen ZooL say that "it wouldn't work with CS:GO", but I don't think any of what WarOwl played was remotely close to what CS:GO is

Valve should also made some map for this as well or otherwise cs map aint design for wallrunning and people gonna just hold angle and kill you while on the ground.
@@kitasan_onegai True but I was thinking more of a mini-gamemode that changes every week or so, one week some speed boost, next this as a gamemode. Would change up the gameplay and would take very small a amount of development.

someone should make a mod with these mechanics PLUS bullet time, like, each round, one person on each team gets the ability to trigger bullet time for a couple of seconds ONCE per round, or something like that.

Considering that both games are on the Source engine (though Titanfall has obviously been heavily modified), I wonder what more you could do to bridge the gap. ZooL's mod appears to be "just" using CS:GO's current mechanics to mimic TF2, so I'm wondering how full-fledged TF2 airstrafing, slidehopping, grappling, etc. would work in a CS:GO context (maybe with some larger maps or more open ceilings.)

This is actually a really great mod, it's a shame it didn't work out. Maybe with another gimmick, like pistols only or shotguns only, or more accuracy the faster you move, or custom maps that work better for this mode, it would work better? I'd love to see you try this again!

Here's an idea: bomb is planted anywhere on the map, and everyone has deathmatch spawns. Maybe everyone will initially know where the bomb is to balance things out . . .

@@Micha-Hil That's different. In that situation you're able to choose a strategic point to guard the bomb, and the T's have time to get to the bomb because of prior knowledge. In my situation, it's a race to get to the bomb which might be located in a terrible holding spot.

Competitive csgo but somehow implement the hostage game mode into it.
Don't know if you guys remember Uberstrike but maybe some of those features implemented into a competitive game.. like ammo and health boxes in the map. Jump pads etc.
