  • A blood clot is a gel-like mass formed by platelets and fibrin in the blood to stop bleeding, a process necessary for healing cuts and injuries. However, clots can form slowly and without obvious damage inside the veins or arteries. These clots block blood flow, depriving tissues of oxygen and nutrients, and can lead to serious health problems such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), heart attacks, strokes, and even death. Understanding the risks and how to manage them is important for maintaining cardiovascular health.

Thank you for the content you create. 🙏🏻 In the fast-paced world we live in, due to different factors, we consume many preprocessed, fatty foods that lead us to high blood pressure, followed by using chemical medications to reduce or try to dissolve or thin out blood to back to an acceptable range. As a warning for those with vericous veins....after hip replacement 9 years ago i started getting vericous veins and they were not painful. They got worse over time and after having a stent put in for deep vein thrombosis i found out there was 80% blockage so I'm lucky to be alive because of blood clots. My doctor told me if they didn't bother me to leave it alone because insurance wouldn't cover it. So for those with vericous veins just say they hurt you and get it fixed.

It's important for everyone to be aware of the potential complications of varicose veins, especially after surgeries like hip replacements. Your story is a powerful reminder to take symptoms seriously and advocate for proper medical care. I'm glad to hear that you're okay after such a scary situation. Stay safe and healthy!

I had very low platelets and was warned by my Doctor not to use blood thinners. If your blood is thin you can bleed to death. 🥰😴

Hi friend, "Thank you for sharing your concern. Following your doctor's advice is crucial, especially when dealing with low platelet counts. While some foods have natural blood-thinning properties, it's important to understand that not everyone should consume them, particularly if you're at risk of bleeding. Foods like ginger, garlic, and certain herbs can be mild blood thinners. However, if you have a medical condition such as low platelets, it's best to avoid these foods or consult your healthcare provider before making any dietary changes. Always prioritize personalized medical advice over general dietary suggestions.🙏🌼
