Probably the cruelest thing about Gaston is that despite sharing what he thought about the Beast in the song “Kill Beast” and that he described the Beast as a bloodthirsty savage, he was obviously aware of the Beast’s intelligence and knew that he wasn’t just some dumb animal as he made everyone else to believe. He talks to Beast throughout the fight showing that he clearly knows he can understand him. This might be giving him too much credit, but It’s possible that Gaston might’ve even realized that the Beast was a human being who had been cursed. But Gaston didn’t care about any of this, he just knew that Bell had feelings for him and he wanted to get rid of him.
For me, Gaston is the scariest Disney villain, second to Frollo I don’t hear people talk about how Gaston basically got the whole town in on his plan to marry Belle, and they just set up a ceremony and everything. On top of that, he got everybody in on sending Maurice to the looney bin, which would leave Belle alone and vulnerable. Me too. It’s not even that I think the beast is handsome. It’s just he was like, disappointing? For me I think it’s the lip and hair color clash weirdly and make him look off.
My highschool did the musical of this, and it's really good. I have all the music memorized. It's so fun. The girl who played Belle really sounded like this version. Really cool
Mr. Beast: "I kidnapped a French girl and put her in a library, where her favorite book in hidden! If she finds it before the rose loses all its petals, she gets the book, this castle and my respect!"
These renaissance era movies would remind you of Wish BECAUSE they were what Wish was trying to be. Wish tried to bring back their roots and pieces of the past to make their ultimate anniversary movie but it just didn't work because 💸 So Hercule's (from your reaction) and Belle's "I want" song are just a few examples of what Asha's "i want" song tried to be.
I rarely comment sometimes, But i appreciate watching these after a long day at school. You guys are so genuinely funny and it makes me giggle and laugh sm
I love Beauty and the Beast, it's one of my favorite movies! Basically every single song is a hit, and the animation is gorgeous. (Also, based editor for two zelda songs in the first two minutes- my zelda senses tingled as soon as Zelda's lullaby started playing lol)
Chip never aged throughout the Curse. It's revealed in a flashback during Beauty and the Beast's Christmas that He was exactly that age the night they were all cursed
One thing that sticks out in my memory is how empty and intimidating the castle feels at first. Everyones voice echoes off the walls and it makes you think, "yes there are charming characters here, but its still being used as a prison."
Eden being like "It takes place in France? But they've already got Ratatouille!" Poor dude's gonna lost his mind when he hears about Aristocats and Hunchback of Notre Dame.
i always forget just how dramatic beauty and the beast is, honestly i think it’s the best out of the renaissance movies. i think it was nominated for best picture too! and it’s the reason why we have best animated picture at the oscar’s, the academy didn’t want an animated movie to win
This is my favorite comfort film for all time. The animation is beautiful and the story is awesome. And the songs are absolute BANGERs . I remember watching it when I was five and was distraught that I couldn’t finish it because it was my bedtime. Also I agree with you the Beast got a glow Down . There is a book called “ as old as time “ in which bells mom is the enchantress and the beast chooses to save the objects instead of himself. Much better ending.
Not even three minutes in, and I'm absolutely in love with the amount of appreciation you guys have for the animation. Back when Disney made movies for the sake of telling a good story and creating art. Hoping we'll return to it, some day...
Tbh I like to think that everyone in the castle was in a state of suspended animation of sorts because they were turned into inanimate objects, so their natural/organic forms would not be able to change as long as they took care of their materials that they were made of as an object (polishing your silver to made sure it doesn't tarnish and etc) I also like to think that Chip has a chip in him both because of his name and because he is missing a tooth. :)
The curse will be perment if not broken by his 21 birthday. Than we hear in the 'Be Our Guest' we learn it's been ten years already of being cursed. So, the witch cursed a child, a 11 year old for his bad attitude. Him AND his servants? That really is messed up when you think about it. The live action tries to fix that by saying the servants didn't do anything to stop their master from ruining his son but, they are servants. They can't be talking to their boss like that if they wanted to keep their job. So, ehhh.

Since he has been the only childhood dog that I actually knew, I was devastated. Anyways, Since I got home, I’ve been watching these videos and they are cheering me up and helping me feel better. Thank you for helping me through a lot more than just this, and have a good night.

Beauty and the Beast
/ \
Nôtre Dame _____________ Ratatouille
The HOLY trinity of animated french placed Disney movies
Not to forget Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, they take place in France too
1:48 even the flea from Monster in Paris
Am high rn and trying to resist the urge to start story boarding the FMAB blunt AU instead of my uni animation project I am meant to be doing.
IT’S A SIGN DO IT
I remember as a child, i was so frustrated when beast turns back into human. Not very sure why, but apart from him turning back into human form, i really love the movie lmaoo
Me too. It’s not even that I think the beast is handsome. It’s just he was like, disappointing? For me I think it’s the lip and hair color clash weirdly and make him look off.
It's because we were so used to his monster form the last minute maybe put us off a bit
Lumière and Cogsworth are my favourite Disney couple
Except Lumiere was clearly into the Duster.
Always remember that belle had no idea about the curse, so she was really really disappointed when beast turned human
10:12
The first appearance of the "Priness" poster
"They (the french) really get two movies bro?"
wait till this man finds out where Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty take place
It hurts my soul to watch a goated hero die to a clown he's beaten a million times 🥺
8:15 I Don’t WANT TH SEE THAT “WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS”
These renaissance era movies would remind you of Wish BECAUSE they were what Wish was trying to be.
Wish tried to bring back their roots and pieces of the past to make their ultimate anniversary movie but it just didn't work because 💸
So Hercule's (from your reaction) and Belle's "I want" song are just a few examples of what Asha's "i want" song tried to be.
I rarely comment sometimes, But i appreciate watching these after a long day at school. You guys are so genuinely funny and it makes me giggle and laugh sm
i thought it was gonna be jack simping for gaston, turned out to be eden
It's funny because Kor's the bisexual one
@@Turnt3chGodh3ad i thought jack was the bisexual one
@@Ray_Vun nope, it's Kor. Jack might be bisexual but I'm not one to pry
@@Turnt3chGodh3ad always thought it was jack because he's the one always simping over male characters.
although tbh, none of them give straight vibes
@@Ray_Vun lmaoo my gaydar def goes off at all of them
14:27 Beast has read more books than Katt Williams 😂
Omfg i was laughing so frequently i couldn't eat a candy corn with choking and leaking orange out of my face holes
13:57 funnily enough, Rupert Everett (Voice actor of Prince Charming) also auditioned to play Gaston
7:57 BRO'S TOO POWERFUL! NO BDSM CAN CONTAIN HIM, HE'S ANTI-BDSM!
Eden being like "It takes place in France? But they've already got Ratatouille!" Poor dude's gonna lost his mind when he hears about Aristocats and Hunchback of Notre Dame.
If someone makes a Stockholm syndrome joke, their sense of humor hasn't matured since 2015.
i always forget just how dramatic beauty and the beast is, honestly i think it’s the best out of the renaissance movies.
i think it was nominated for best picture too! and it’s the reason why we have best animated picture at the oscar’s, the academy didn’t want an animated movie to win
2:19 the laugh
This is my favorite comfort film for all time. The animation is beautiful and the story is awesome. And the songs are absolute BANGERs .
I remember watching it when I was five and was distraught that I couldn’t finish it because it was my bedtime.
Also I agree with you the Beast got a glow Down . There is a book called “ as old as time “ in which bells mom is the enchantress and the beast chooses to save the objects instead of himself. Much better ending.
Ah Beauty and the beast. One of my all time favorite Disney movies
The FMA blunt tangent went crazy
I literally just watched FMA and it was so funny
Same😂
I know they likely would never, but I’d give damn near anything to see them react to some of the star kids musicals
2:35 PERSONA 3 REFERENCED❗️🎉🥳
That title change is WILD
Not even three minutes in, and I'm absolutely in love with the amount of appreciation you guys have for the animation. Back when Disney made movies for the sake of telling a good story and creating art. Hoping we'll return to it, some day...
12:05 lost my composure and started to laugh while at the same time my sister was crying
7:45 Fun Fact: LeFou is voiced by the same guy who voiced Bitores Mendez in the original version of Resident Evil 4.
So, ehhh.
Actually France 🇫🇷 Gets 3 Disney Films Because Wasn't The Hunchback
Of Notre Dame Set In Paris?
Isn't Tangled French?
Edit: Or at least the castle was based on one in France.
@@dinodare1605No, the original tale of Tangled takes place in Germany.
Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty take place in France too though
@@Zekushion_
I bet you're right but I made a video where I called Tangled a French Disney movie during high school. Let's pretend we never had this discussion 🤐
Kinda funny that no one of them noticed that the Mrs. Potts' child is kinda similar with the prince
(ironically that they made a "Beasting out on the room" joke as well)
I remember watching this movie in French growing up. Since this story is studied a lot in French education
The fact that this movie was in the running for Best Picture next to The Silence of the Lambs- They even both have a "scary guy steps into the light to stare down at heroine" shot and the Gay(ze/s).
For those that dont know ,mini trivia, the "mob song" was in fact inspired by the AIDS crisis. Some people (dont know the full list) worked on this and the little meramid. One guy lost his partner do to aids ,ther was some minor emotionally charged undertones for those specific scenes. Part of yourworld reprise ver ,bell song ,mob song and i forgot there is much more.😭❤️🥺
1:46 you kinda forget the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Lmao.
21:49
The goat and the horse
I remember the three identical girls who had a crush on Gaston were my favorites. Thinking back I probably had a crush on them
After that joke at the beginning, I unironically want Mr Beast to be in the next Beauty and the Beast Movie.
I love powerful misunderstood monsters, the Beast and Bowser own me actually
