Agree with all these tips / mindset shifts!! I had a really really bad relationship with food when I was young and I would beat myself up if I went over 1200 calories per day. Those days were absolutely miserable. I’d say loving myself & finding things that I enjoy apart from food helped me the most. I am soooo much happier right now & I can finally focus on things outside food, like my loved ones & my career. It’s crazy how restrictions on food can affect you as a person!!! I hope y’all find your food freedom as well ❤
Thank you so much for this video :) those mondset shifts have been the most helpful input on healing my relationship with food that i have heard so far.
Absolutely loved this video, honestly had a few tears in my eyes because everything you said is true and is what I’ve gone through. it’s been a lot of work but finding balance has been life changing and having a good relationship with food has always been my biggest struggle as well as comparison.❤ But these tips I will definitely use in my day to day and have been so helpful to learn. I would love to see a part 2 maybe about food freedom and learning how to intuitive eat especially around the holidays 💕
Really loved this video and the three mindset shifts! I really have been trying to work on breaking free from the all or nothing mindset surrounding food and unsubscribing from the belief that my worth/beauty is tied to food+how my body looks. It definitely is a process and takes a lot of intentional work and perseverance because diet culture is so embedded in our society to the point I've internalized it. But I truly feel so much better when I'm balanced in my habits and thinking.
It really is so internalized in just how our society thinks and operates and choosing to consciously break free from it is so so powerful and definitely a beautiful journey with a lot of ups and downs! So proud of you, keep going ❤
I love this video!! ❤️ I've been going through my own fitness journey recently and this resonated 1000%. Thank you for sharing and also for making a note about cultural views on food. I feel like that's something that's not talked about often but definitely plays a big role.
this is so helpful that you took the time to explain this! thank you sm 🫶🏼🫶🏼 and guys don’t forget that JESUS LOVES YOU AND VALUES YOU! so we have a reason to treat our bodies as a Temple of the Holy Spirit ☺️💕
i adore you and am so appreciative that you are shedding light on this topic!! i have a question: did you take time off of exercise completely when healing your relationship with food. i am currently struggling with feeling like i need to "earn" my food in order to justify eating more
Hi, love the content. I have been struggling with a good balance and end up doing that all or nothing then binge eating food. I’m on a medicine that causes my appetite to go down and can only eat small amounts of food, do you have any recommendations of small snacks that are easy to make?
What a beautiful message from beginning and especially at the end. Remembering your body is a vessel really puts it in perspective that I need to be grateful for all it does for me. You don’t have to workout, you don’t have to move your body, rather, you GET to do those things and that’s a gift in itself 🩷🩷
"Be on your body's side" ; what a beautiful way to see the body!!!!
YES!!!!!
