tears of understanding and connection flow. thank you for cleaning the grungy window that i peer through to look at myself. i wasn’t listening to my grief and fear from losing my parents and i’m feeling frightened but not alone in the fear anymore. thank you infinitely for showing me how to bring grief to where i can hear it and listen ♥️

I was going through a binge when I decided to research “how to get back from a binge” and found your videos.
Thank you for reminding me to reconnect with my body and change my perception of “bad week, bad day “ to its just a bad moment. You helped me to change my behaviour straight way. God bless you ❤

Thank you so much for this, as a guy its pretty hard to acknowledge that an eating disorder could exist, but when I have looked into it Binge eating disorder is one of the biggest things affecting men that often goes under the radar. I have only just this year began my journey of reconnecting with my body after an adolescence of completely abusing it, self-harm, drugs, alcohol, all of which I have managed to overcome because of the well documented cases of how they are addictive behaviours. It was only a month ago that I really became aware that binge-eating (or food addiction) is a real thing. This video has helped shed some light on that, whereas in the past I was in that conflict of "this isn't who I am, I just eat alot" as though that formed part of my identity, even amongst friends they know I am the one who will finish off anything that is left. I have raised the issue with them, informed them that I have an issue with food and body image and they are being incredibly supportive around it, but it is still my journey to go through and this management of internal conflict I think will help with more than just my binge-eating. About to sit down with my journal and see what parts of me need to be heard

I've been binge eating for 20+ years, stopped believing that it will ever change.
But I'm glad to come across your channel, I think it's very helpful and informative, I'm sure it will help so many people who can't afford or don't want to go to therapist.🎉

New subscriber here with mild lifelong food relationship problems. Very helpful video.this is about the tenth vid of yours that I've watched. My motto had been...well, one way to make temptation go away is just to give into it, which I've done alot. This video gives me some alternatives, thank you.

I wouldn’t advise IF to anyone with binge eating problems. If it works for you then by all means go for it, but most people I’ve worked with who struggle with bingeing find IF makes it worse.

yes there is always this tension I have with the urge to binge, worry tht I did something wrong so now I have no choice but to binge because I ate my 'forbidden food.' I'm beginning to realize, in the moment, I always have a choice. eating a little extra or something like this, never needs to lead to the binge but then why is that so hard to follow?

I hate that this was recommended to me because I am this person too. That conflict when you're thinking about eating it or not feels like anger to me until I eat it, then shame when I eat it, but as you said, at least there's no conflict.
I hate that I get angry until I just eat it.

Follow you on Instagram and saw you shout out this video so I headed over. I am saving this, and after work this evening I plan on revisiting it and taking notes. Everything you experienced about yourself is exactly how I feel. I don’t trust myself anymore and have stopped setting goals because I never follow thru anyways (I also have adhd which makes things a bit trickier) my main issue is that I don’t KNOW how to “connect” with my feelings. I don’t know the reasons WHY I feel a certain way or what triggers things other than immediate stress in my daily life. I do have a therapist for my adhd but we never do deep dives it’s just scales and talking about the past couple weeks and med changes. Not sure how to even start
