It's worth the $45 base package, everything is earnable in game, and buying ships is the ONLY long term "loop" there is so don't ruin the experience by wasting usd. I haven't had a playable session in over a year due to 30k's. .19 has been no different so far. Some are having a bug free experience however so kinda luck of the draw. Don't expect deep or long term game play, there is none. It's a make your own experience kind of game. Expect mostly pve with VERY LITTLE pvp. Lastly you can refund with-in the first 14 days so knowing the risks and you want to try it anyway, go for it, they do refund with almost no issue. Jumptown is amazing, the rest of the game is bore imo, but am also a pvp whore. Fun for the most part, just don't main it and you wont run outta content.

My only complaint on pvp is when people just blow you up instead of making it interesting and trying to kill you and then shoot open and steal your cargo, giving the chance for counter play. Most "Pirates" in SC are just griefers. Nothing is more fun than actually defending against pirates who want to get as much of your cargo as possible. Since blowing your ship up destroys most of it. Idk maybe I'm alone in this but I just feel like killing for the sake of killing is just boring and unfulfilling. Some of my best moments have been at JT defending against people after my cargo. Makes the successful defends that much sweeter.
That’s what I hate about this game. People in chat asking questions being friendly, but any of them might kill you the next second and you will not even know it. Same with beacons. A guy answering your beacon might be someone you killed just 5 mins ago or you killed his buddy and you both wont know it. That’s f-d up.

Friendly Reminder: If your ship gets taken like this, don't panic. You can ask for transport through the beacons menu and somebody can come give you a ride back to a station. In 3.20 this legal heisting of a ship will be gone as that update will bring ship trespass to the game. Also always get your ships party members before exiting a safe zone.

Getting the Player Unstowed, 30018 Error and can't even launch the game. So glad they are having a free fly week with so many bugs that the game is unplayable. So smart.
How do you pretend that this level of desynced lagged out buggy gameplay is acceptable in a game that has been in early access for 7 years. It is borderline nonsensical to watch.
It's definately not acceptable but there is still nothing like star Citizen so the sense of open world and exploration and opportunity overrides the annoyance of the bugs and lag for me. In saying that I take big breaks from it as well. Also I come from Ark which has always been a buggy mess so I'm just used to it at this point :p
The main issue with Star Citizen missions are they are dull, lacking and worse of all BUGGY, the whole process of doing missions solo, often feels, or turns into a vacuous, salaryman plod. Iam increasingly leaning to Org/Group play, that is the heart and soul of SC/PU not billy no mates SOLO.
yeah unless some tards come with a2... i literally had 2 x 2 runs on both terminals without pvp, logged back later and had to fight for terminals, lots of bodies, but after hour or so wanted to do it again, killed somebody, got to terminals, 80k on each and a2 came XD
300k per 30 minutes?? Good money, but not great. And then there's the very unpredictable threat of getting ganked, so it's more like between 300k and nothing per 30 minutes.
Yeah I enjoy it for the threat it makes it interest8ng and it's great money for pvp players as all we really had was spk which wasn't great or really soloable
@@H.O.D.S Just the handling of the guy who came up to you while you were AFK but didn't shoot, had the potential for something great but you threw the opportunity away when you went squirrel mode.

@@H.O.D.S That's how some of the most glorious moments happen, going one direction you bump into a random guy going another direction and both your courses careen down a new and potentially legendary course. Makes me think of how things were in Starcitizen 2.0 when it all began. Dan Gheeslings videos centered on the shenanigans around security post kareah are probably the best window into this golden time of heroes and monsters. The gold standard of wandering in search of adventure in starcitizen. And later on with the "We have papers" and "Catnuts the arch nemesis" stuff that just happened it just reaches cult classic status. So good infact that I setup a discord with links to all 459 10 minute episodes neatly laid out in 50 episode sections for easy navigation, mainly because youtubes user interface has degraded to the point of near un-usability when trying to watch awesome older videos in a channel with thousands of vids. I'm currently watching through them again and will be posting a set of "Best of" links As I find the best things that happen. I'll send you the link to the discord if you like.

I always check the ships comm channel before i leave. if i see a stowaway i imediately transfer all of my gear to the station or moon/planet while im still landed. the second i see im out of AZ i start the self destruct. BYE. ive had to do this multiple times. they never get to me before the ship explodes killing everyone.
