Trading RMC (without exploits) is so damn risky. Always fake it first. Land your ship, go pretend to buy some RMC, get back into the ship and take your time. If pirates are around, they will shoot you. All they get is an empty ship. Saved me lots of money many times.

The premise stated in the beginning you start with nothing. No start gear not even a space... but then you stated you had to gear up so I guess nothing mean gear with a gun. so I am guessing your friend let you kill him and fly his ship. Oh well you do you thanks for the video.

fun fact, if you give one of the enemies another weapon, liiiiike say a rail gun or a grenade launcher, they still shoot them! i did this with a friend :D
