Something that most people are not aware of that I think I mentioned under one of your other videos, is that Fabius Bile ascended to be a minor god of Chaos. His trilogy is a great read and explains his ascension as well as who the "fake" Fabius Bile's are that are still around in the current era of 40k.
EDIT: Also, the lore you detailed for the Ghoul King of the flayed ones is more of a "horror story" Necrons tell to each other and not the true nature of the dynasty. If you read the two books currently out in the Necron trilogy (Reign & Ruin) you get to learn how the Ghoul King became the Ghoul King and what his true motives are. The flayer virus doesn't turn necrons into flesh hungry savages, it's just a symptom of the bio transference that some necrons still have their biological urges (e.g. wanting to breathe) while trapped in metal bodies. The inability to actually perform these acts slowly drives them crazy and causes their bodies to warp. The Ghoul King is actually just a very kind and selfless Necron who wants to help others not lose themselves to a virus and establish a safe haven for the afflicted.
EDIT2: With the writing I'm doing I really hope you get around to read this. If you want to deepdive into the necrons and specifically what they might evolve into read the two books I've mentioned and also the book about the vendetta between Trazyn and Orikan as well as the newest Ahriman book. There are a couple of necrons out there that have pushed past biotransference and become unspeakable things and Ahriman accidentally unleashed a Dynasty imprisoned by the silent king himself for their power.

I am surprised you forgot the Necron Dynasty in the Jericho Reach, the Suhbekhar. Who's crown world exists in quantum pocket inside a G type star. They harness the energy of the star to power the crown world. The problem for them is their Phareon mind became so corrupted over the long sleep he is unrecoverable. But the elites of the Dynasty know there is a massive super weapon and plan created by their Phareon for the Jericho Reach sector. Expect because of obedience protocols, none can remember what it is, how it will activate or what it even does. Current steward Ahhotekh of the Dynasty is barely holding things together and a rival dynasty has entered the Reach (traditionally Suhbekhar territory). While the Deathwatch is also trying to discover the ancient Necron plan. The steward Ahhotekh has come to believe two things after centuries of studying the humans and Tau of the reach.
One the Tau, their history, their nature and even rise with Ethereals/Tau empire. Have convinced him they are Necrotyr off shoot race of some kind. That one or another dynasty, Cryptek or Phareon secretly created them. More than likely as means to return to flesh for the Necron. Second, that because of EoM, the Primarchs, Space Marines, human pyskers and nulls. That the Humanity is kind of doomsday weapon created by the Old Ones at the end of the War in Heaven. Though doesn't know if the Old Ones intended them to be uplifted by the Old Ones (like the Alderi and Kroks) to fight in the War in Heaven. Or as backup plan to take care of the galaxy if they lost the War in Heaven and their uplifted warrior races like the Kroks and Alderi were unable to take the role of stewards.

You missed the Maynarkh Dynasty ruled by the Phaerakh (female Phaeron) Xun'bakyr, The Mother of Oblivion. They're the ones responsible for taking down half an Imperial sector and the Angels Revenant space marine chapter.
They're also known to have ERASED a C'tan from existence, properly and not shattering it into fragments (Llandu'gor, whose death is reported to be responsible for the flayer virus). They have black hole weapons and use Flayed Ones as troops.

The Empire of the Severed is one dynasty I found interesting. Basically, some kind of radiation storm wiped out the memory banks of the Necrons sleeping on the Tomb World of Sarkon, resulting in them becoming truly mindless, and the Master Program of the Tomb World itself became the Necron Overlord called the Sarkoni Emperor and took command of the dynasty.

I'm an avid Warhammer fan in almost every aspect, especially the lore. My favorite faction are the necrons and they are maine main faction in the tabletop game. I've read quite a few Necrons books and consumed tons of additional lore from videos and wiki articles. And has been for years. But despite all that, I still have very little grasp of the entire dynasties and absurd chronology of the Necrons. Damn it, i really needed this video.

You have already covered the Flayed ones before but it might be interesting to do a more in depth video about their origins (and combine it with the Destroyers) while the common theory is that it is curse from the C'tan Llandu'gor, and there is a lot of evidence that points towards that, the Twice Dead King series paints a far more complex picture.

Once again asking for a deep dive on Garviel Loken! My first foray into the lore of 40k was the Horus Heresy. At the time, I didn't know that it had taken place 10,000 years in the past relative to the setting of the game. Something that would be helpful, especially with their taking a more involved part in current happenings in the galaxy, would be doing a video on the Ynnari. Things are going on with all of those in the Aeldari codex, and while it seems to be more background to major things like Primarchs returning and hive fleet Leviathan, I think they may be getting some bigger moments soon-ish.

I love the Maynarkh, if you don't know about them. The Silent King's personal executioners back in the day, they were ruled over by the only Phaerakh i know of: Xun'bakyr, The Mother of Oblivion. One of their final acts as living Necrontyr was the murderof the C'tan known as Llandu'Gor the Flayer, and it's said The Flayer Virus originated in their ranks. After waking up in the current setting, the ones that aren't already Flayed Ones have sort of fallen into nihilism and despair because they all understand Llandu'Gor's curse means that eventually they're all going to succumb. Xun'bakyr has united them and given them a purpose, which basically amounts to "if we're going down, we're taking fucking everyonewith us," and the Maynarkh are now essentially a Dynasty-wide Destroyer Cult, relentlessly fixated on killing every living thing in the Galaxy

An idea I’ve always enjoyed playing around with is the idea of sort of a reverse necron dynasty, one that views their metal bodies as abominations and view it as an offense to the universe, and as opposed to fighting to restore necron rule they fight against other necrons and seek to destroy the entire necron race in atonement for their sins, and while they don’t help other species they won’t attack other species unless provoked and may even help other factions if they’re fighting necrons. Their ultimate goal is to wipe the necrons and everything they created from the universe in the name of atonement and to prevent them from making a universe destroying oopsie

Since flayed ones can teleport vast distances, retain some bits of their original personality, and are possibly contagious in an unknown way, perhaps Vargle(the Fallen Lord) isn't insane, he's just keeping them from spreading.
But, regardless, I'm a Nihllakh player. Trazyn is Nihllakh(though most of his dynasty hates him).

The Necrons are the OP of the powerful setting. The Song of Oblivion the Silent King's flasgship has wrecked entire war fleets without receiving a scratch.

Are there any stories that follow a member of the Carcharodons. They really peak my interest as to how they manage as a group dynamic and how they avoid getting through out by the other legions.

Without knowing much about the drazak ruler the reason he may remain could possibly be to keep his insane subjects in check or instead of just raiding nearby world's every so without him they might go on s path of unrestrained bloodshed till they got put down possibly trying to create a cure for the insanity given if he is apparently more or less sane thats what i would assume possible reasons to remain

one topic i'd like to see expanded on is: what is Chaos using Horus Lupercal for in the aftermatch of the Indomitus crusade? several of the Horus Heresy books show that Horus was not in control of his own body as the war raged on, that he was a prisoner to a deep fake personality clone.

Horus is a tragic character in my opinion, when the initially rebelled he didn’t want to worship chaos or have his brothers turned into demons, I like to think that his initial intentions were good and legitimately wanted to free humanity from tyranny but he was twisted into a puppet for chaos
