The Necrons are basically the old dude that's finally starting to get tired of the neighbours' kids running around his yard all the time.
That horrific moment whrn you learn the Galaxy has a homeowners association, and you have trespassed their bylaws.
I’m guessing the Tyranids are basically the infestation of termites eating their house or the ants terrorizing that very lawn.
I'm reminded of that one Clint Eastwood movie where he's just some old guy watching a gang war go on on his front lawn, and then he walks out the front door with an M1 Garand and tells them to fuck off.
Actually the plot twist about them is that the Necrons are actually the good guys in Warhammer, repelling Chaos and destroying Tyranids
just had an idea. humans would likely be a great option for the reverse bio-transference. need guiliman and silent king to come to an agreement. imperium and nercons work together, defeat tyranids and seal off the warp.
humans can supply the raw man power and recouses needed to fuel the necron war machine. add in, necron tech for humans.. unstopable.
then after the necrons win the wars, whats a few billion human bodies to the imperium for the necrons to take over?

You know, this is the second time an entity from the 40k universe has detected Institute transmissions (The first being the inquisition). I wonder what it is about this particular alternate world that has enabled them to detect Institute agents?

I have always thought the Necrons to be the most interesting and dangerous threat to the imperium. Out of the 3 races with which could wipe out the imperium the Necrons are the only ones who have a goal greater than kill everything you come across or consume everything you come across. The idea of souless immortal machines of war that once ruled the galaxy with the most advanced tech any living civilisation has ever seen waking up to take control of their former empire is so badass
Templin always manages to spice up lore videos that a lot of other channels fail to do. It makes me just kinda watch any of the videos regardless of the franchise because it's not just informative, but entertaining as well.

I watch a lot of 40k lore videos, and I specialize in Necron lore myself, and this is the best roundup on them I've ever seen.
It's pretty cool that you're doing the Necrons, but 9th edition is about to drop I believe, and with them being the major adversaries for the whole edition, they are bound to get loads of new lore.
In other words cool, but your video will be outdated in a few weeks.

I think what I like about the Necron is the same thing I like about the Tau: They're pretty much the only two races with lore that isn't based on each new thing being more batshit insane than the next.
Hibernating for millions of years sounds very relaxing and satisfying. I might just keep on hibernating...as long as I could still decide to wake up eventually.
That fake error near the end of the video got me good. I reloaded a half-dozen times before I noticed the video was actually still playing.
Ya know, given how this year has been going, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised for Trazyn's little disruption near the end there to have been genuinely him, and that the Necrons will be the first aliens we see.

Here's the secret behind Necron's teleportation tech: it uses physics of 4th dimension and remember, first 4 spatial dimensions makes up realspace so 4th dimension aren't part of the warp

Hey, I've been wondering if you're (TI) planning to or have considered making a video or more about the NPC empires and factions in EVE Online? They all have really fascinating lore, and there's a whole book (EVE Source) which contains a shitload of the lore surrounding most of the empires/factions in the game's lore, except the Triglavian Collective, as being the newest empire to the mix.
I would personally suggest (though biased) these factions/empires to do videos on:
-Triglavian Collective (DEFINITELY the most interesting empire in the game imo)
-CONCORD/EDENCOM
-Amarr Empire
-Caldari State
-Jove Empire
-Minor factions like the Blood Raider Covenant, Mordu's Legion, Angel Cartel, or the Gurista's Pirates
-Maybe a video on generally the lore of the New Eden galaxy? There's a ton of opportunities with EVE's lore that I think would be great content for TI.
Nice touch with Trazyn, there. Scared the bezeezus outta me, having recently suffered from some system instability... thought for sure I'd see another bluescreen.
