Your video is exceptional! You explained everything to the "T." You didn't elaborate meaninglessly on common sense info', like registering for an account with PSA. You touched on PSA's paid membership, without acting like it's the best thing since sliced bread, as so many others do. Best of all, you were "hands on," and actually showed us, in detail, how to complete each and every step, without boring us, lecturing us or far worse, acting like a "know-it-all," and "YOUR" video was the absolute easiest to follow and understand, especially for someone like me, who has watched quite a few of these "How-To-Submit-To-PSA" videos, and who has never had a card personally graded. I have literally watched a lot of your videos and actually believed I was already subscribed, but wasn't. Well, I am NOW and I gave this video its due and gave it a double "Thumbs up!
PSA states to put the cards between 2 pieces of cardboard before You rubber band them and then You can bubble wrap as You want. I always do this just to make sure. Don't want to piss off the grader from the start. lol
Hey just commenting on this video to show you my appreciation as a fan. When I was a kid I use to collect NFL trading cards but stopped and now picked the hobby back up. Your videos have educated me in so many ways! Out of the all card collecting channels yours has to be #1! Thank you so much and hope you and your family have a happy holiday’s 🙏🏽
Great video. I see lots of videos where people get back PSA 8's and below, so if that happens to someone new I'd highly recommend not skipping the wipe down. I've never had an 8 or below yet so feel that has to be why. Pretty sure grading companies literally do tank you when they use a super zoomed in microscope even for dust you don't see with the naked eye, but most definitely if there's tiny hairs you didn't notice and wipe off.
Not trying to be negative, but 2:11 the purple soccer card I feel stands absolutely zero chance of getting a 10 and it looks like that massive spec was something you could have easily wiped off.
For the penny sleeves you can it the corner so you make sure it doesn’t bang the corner, and is you cut up a little sticky not you can put it on the penny sleeve so the graded can easily pull it out
Whats the best technique on figuring out if the money makes sense? If your certain its an 8+ what should the minimum value of an 8 be? 9 be? 10 be? percentage maybe?
What kind of penny sleeves do you use? That one on that stroud looks roomie for an optic. Which is a good thing IMO is you are going to put in a saver and send off
Great video and very thorough explanation so thank you! I I have a couple of questions for you? 1) I know you've already commented that this is not required, but I just want to double check before I start my submission :) If you were to submit an autograph card i.e. VICTOR WEMBANYAMA 2023-24 TOPPS CHROME AUTOGRAPH ROOKIE CARD, would you select (Autograph Dual service) or is this not required since they autograph was printed by Topps? 2) If I want to do a multi submission, i.e. a list of 20 cards at the $18.99 (declared value up to $500) tier because of the declared value of those cards, and another submission with 5 cards with a declared value above $500, how can you do that so you end up with 1 label to be printed out and stick it on the box? Thanks!
I have a Gretzky rookie card that is a reprint but nowhere on the card does the word reprint appear. Can I still submit it for grading even if I notify them that I know it’s fake?
Hey i dont think you mentioned insurance, have you ever lost cards and do people even use insurance or just always taking a risk of they got lost intransit
When i tried to make a submission i had football cards from pre 1980 and after 1980 and some auto cards that i wanted the auto graded also. Since psa considers them as 3 different categories i had to make 3 submissions. I can ship them to psa in 1 box but they will ship them back to me as 3 different packages. And if you become a member and want the bulk deals you have to have 20 cards of a certain catagory to get the special price. For example you cant have 15 cards pre 1980 and 5 cards after 1980 to meet the 20 card bulk minimum. Its kinda frustrating.
so let me get this straight, great video overall but didnt answer a question i have had for a while now and why im so hesitant to send cards out, cards in a psa 10 are worth thousands that im sending in but it only allows me to put $500 if the card is a 10 will it not get graded a 10 because of the declared value? please help anyone !
From what I understand, if you put the value of $500 and PSA thinks that it's more than that, they will charge you more. It's like for them to get a cut from you...but I don't know how much it depends.
Just more expensive and takes way longer is the big thing. I don't think it's worth the effort unless it's a really high end card and you're 100% certain it's a 10 auto
Hi Troy, does the order appear only after they have scanned the package and how long after they scan will it update under orders? This is my first time submitting and my orders page is currently empty. Thanks!
Never send your cards to PSA!!! SGC and Becketts are much better. PSA never tells you what is wrong with a card. This should be banned! We pay to know what is wrong with our cards. A psa 8 was sent to both becketts and sgc who graded it a 9.5. There needs to be a parallel grading system. I've used PSA for one year. I questioned them. I took my cards to an ex employee of PSA grading-he said it's a fraud mostly. yes cards will need to look very good to get a 10 but many many cards are just graded lower because they skip them quickly, toss em in a case and charge you for it. He admitted SGC and Becketts were far better grading places.

It’s always a great day when trike uploads a new video! Great video for people who have not yet subbed.
Appreciate that a lot!
Thank you so much for making this. My son wants cards graded for christmas and I was a little nervous having to try to do this!
will you adopt me?
Thanks, you saved me a chunk of money because i was about to choose the Autograph dual service for my pack pulled auto cards
Your content never disappoints. Great stuff brotha!
Thanks so much bro!
Appreciate the amazing vid again! The hobby is in good hands
Is it just me or are card savers super difficult to put the cards in?
Look for slightly wider ones.
@@dklaufthey are terrible, do in a 10. Then come back an eight😂🥃.
J/K they do seem tight
Most Definitely
I use the block fillers from donruss football to stretch them out
You don't have to use card savers you can use cheaper ones that are similar. Also can use the wider ones.
Great video. Thanks for sharing!
Just sent in my first submission using your video!
Does it have to be a card saver 1 or can it be a large beckett sheild sleeve?
Very informative - great video. Thank you!

Thank you for an amazing video!
Sir, you get a "Like" from me. Great video!
Thanks
For the penny sleeves you can it the corner so you make sure it doesn’t bang the corner, and is you cut up a little sticky not you can put it on the penny sleeve so the graded can easily pull it out
If you put on a sticky note it will be in the initial photos from PSA when the product arrives to them.
Do you suggest a normal or larger sized penny sleeve?
Whats the best technique on figuring out if the money makes sense?
If your certain its an 8+ what should the minimum value of an 8 be? 9 be? 10 be?
percentage maybe?
Can I print my label out on shippo?
Can u ship it thru UPS???
literally the video i needed nice
I'm glad! Perfect timing
What kind of penny sleeves do you use? That one on that stroud looks roomie for an optic. Which is a good thing IMO is you are going to put in a saver and send off
Is declared valley based on raw value?
No

Does depends on the player
How do you submit thick cards? What is the PSA approved method?
Please make a video for patch/relic cards.
Can you pre load 18 cards and then come back an hour later after you find 2 more?
I have a Gretzky rookie card that is a reprint but nowhere on the card does the word reprint appear. Can I still submit it for grading even if I notify them that I know it’s fake?
Love your stuff bro. Have to come to SA, Texas one day! Would love to meet you!
Hope to one day!
What if the package gets wet?
Can you do one with bgs please
Hey i dont think you mentioned insurance, have you ever lost cards and do people even use insurance or just always taking a risk of they got lost intransit
Insurance is on the postal service u just tell em u need extra insurance if ur sending alot
When i tried to make a submission i had football cards from pre 1980 and after 1980 and some auto cards that i wanted the auto graded also. Since psa considers them as 3 different categories i had to make 3 submissions.

Great video! is getting just the auto graded expensive / complicated? or is that a totally different process
Just more expensive and takes way longer is the big thing. I don't think it's worth the effort unless it's a really high end card and you're 100% certain it's a 10 auto
i guess they no longer want the sleeves labeled any longer?
Hi Troy, does the order appear only after they have scanned the package and how long after they scan will it update under orders? This is my first time submitting and my orders page is currently empty. Thanks!
Excellent video
Thank you!
Great vid! When it comes to patch cards, or thick cards, do you still use a card saver or a top loader?
I mainly just leave those in a top loader
@@TRIKESportsCards ok thanks
Cool vid
When does PSA charge you for the order?
Right before they ship the cards back to you.
@andywilliamson1515 okay thank you I appreciate it.
ILLEGAL TO BE THIS EARLY
Quick with it!
Can you just send 2 cards at that 25$per card
Just pulled a $250 card def gun send it off to psa.
Aren't you supposed to put cardboard and rubber band on the cards?
nice cards
Let’s go!
Yessir
That stack will sure cost a FORTUNE to get graded!
What up T415
What up what up
Just my luck that i see this after I just submitted my first card to psa
Same man same
80 cards at a time is 2k, seems expensive.
