I completely support whatever it is that makes people enjoy this hobby. For me it's hard enough to spend 25 dollars for someone to look at your card for 25-30 seconds. Even harder to pay that much for shipping when ebay can ship stuff for next to nothing/free and it be insured. I'd rather buy a couple more singles or another booster box with that money.
My 2nd ever submission just went into Grading stage! Come on PSA!!! The excitement and anticipation of watching your cards go through the process is unreal!
I just recently started getting into pokemon because my daughter is into it. I've watched a few of your videos and I gotta tell you I think you have the best outro on UA-cam. I care about you guys is an awesome thing to say. Such simple words that mean so much. Keep up the good work. I'm glad your getting some well deserved recognition 😊
Got back my first PSA Submission today! Out of 5 cards had 1 that seems to be a bit on the graded poorly side, thinking it might be some population control to be honest. But it is what it is, happy my cards turned out well besides the one card
I agree with you 1000%. Here's a comment I left on this video lol. "Here after getting railed by PSA. 25 JPN 151 cards submitted (24) PSA 10s and (1) PSA 9. 48 English cards sent in (22) PSA 10s, (23) PSA 9s, (2) PSA 8, and (1) PSA 7. All cards pulled by me and are pack fresh. All cards were well within centering margins. Identical centered cards with various different grades. 2 gold cards got an 8 and 7. I will never be sending cards in with them again lol. I will be moving to sealed and already graded cards instead." Even going back over scans of my cards it makes 0 since to me how these English cards got screwed over. 100% someone having a bad day or a bigger issue with PSA controlling quantities.. never doing it again
Just submitted an Umbreon V alt art that I pulled back when evolving skies first came out. Kept putting it off to get graded, now its on the way! Thank you so much!
I’ve watching a few people talk about how to submit to grading companies, but there is one thing no one ever mentions. The idea of getting sequential graded cards, for example the the order you submit to the grader and the order you enter into the system, does that matter, or just submit the only cards you want in sequential order? For example the Charizard evaluation line from 151, and hope to get all in 10’s and as a set, can it up the $ value. It’s something I wanted to do with a few cards like the yunagabe eeveelution set.
Thank you, super useful video. Do you have a video as a guide on what to look for when thinking of sending a card for grading, like the centering of the artwork etc.
Do you recommend not using the little sticky note pull tabs to help the cards out of the card saver? Also, no more need to sandwich the cards between cardboard for shipping?
@@bsevan8461 Yes, I created a PSA account a few months ago and they have sent me several $50 discount codes for my first submission. I just received another one 6 hours ago that's valid until the end of the month.
Serious question, do they ship you back your sleeves/toploaders etc or do they throw them away? I'm not trying to by nice protective equipment if it's just going to be trashed
FYI recently submitted the Pokémon special last month and it said 50 business day turnaround but was processed and back to me in 3 weeks. You pay once it’s ready to ship back so make sure it’s already set aside if you do the bulk service.
Psa says to cut cardboard and use rubber bands to sandwich the cards between them, also they say not to cover up the barcode with clear tape guess it doesn’t matter too much
What's the grand total for submitting just one card??? It would be great if I had over 20 cards to submit in a bundle and pay a bulk price and spend around $500, but if I were looking to just get one card graded, it seems like it would be around $75 for just one card. I've looked into PSA before for just one card and honestly it's not worth it unless you do bulk grading. Need to let the viewers know that as well bro.
That was my thing with grading as well. The price is just too much to grade unless you are grading a large amount. I have about 10 cards I believe are gradable for a 10. I still think that is not enough for a max value in cost. On the long term it may be beneficial but they are other factors involved with pricing now.
Holy crap ur awesome. Definitely have a few cards that I've been wanting to grade. I guess it's destiny now and I'm taking advantage. Thanks my Vault hero. Can you make a vid on buying from discord?
I've got a question, since im new to pokemon tcg collecting, been doing it nearly for year now, so how would I go about selling bulk dups cards like my base set commons, uncommons etc, I'm in the U.K also, should I use ebay or find a card store?
Awesome video! Question for you Vault, is there any benefit to having a lower declared value or a higher one? For example, if I have a card that I think/hope will be a 10 but then that would put the value at $700, is it better to do that or just decare it at $500 and hope that it still get's a 10?
I know you're sponsored so maybe you can't answer. I've heard a lot about PSA grading a card low and then when it is submitted again it grade far higher. Thought?
Must feel pretty good getting recognised by such a big company congratulations mate too bad can’t use code being from Australia but you can’t win them all 😂 keep up the great work mate
Very helpful video. Quick question though - regarding the address to send to ( FedEx or USPS), you said that "they'll let us know". How will they let us know? After we pay on the website? In other words, where do we get an accurate shipping address?
I watched it all I understood some of it but I got confused at lots of parts because I’m tryna grade my cards and I’m just a kid my dad will do it for me because of age
Nah I’ve switched completely to Ace Grading. Slabs are way higher quality, nicer looking and they are much stricter in grading. I’m sick of PSA not knowing how to grade cards or give cards that should be a 6 a 10. Grading should be objective, not subjective. Grading fees shouldn’t change based on card value either. Still, congrats on the promo code! That is actually massive tbf and am still sure loads will use your code!
People think because a card is graded it's automatically worth something. 99.9% of cards submitted have no value and aren't rare in the slightest yet people put them on ebay saying "rare" and they sit there forever because nobody wants them.
NO WAY I JUST WATCHED UR 2023 video like 30 minutes ago
Same 😂
Same just kame from there 🤣
I almost clicked on it instead of this one xD just pulled a Giratina V Alt Art from lost origins :) 400 dollars off a 15 dollar tin
@@WotaGamesIt congratulations!
I was honestly going to give this a try until I saw the total amount for shipping was nearly $40. That's crazy
not much tbh, u get value back from the graded cards?
the shipping is wild, and then you gotta insure the package as well so thats another $15+ on top of the shipping

Kinda want to grade a single card now…. Hmm 🤔 thanks Vault!! Thanks PSA too!
You skipped the part where you have to pack the cards in the same order you listed them on the order sheet.
If you don't cover how to make gengar into poncho Pikachu in this video what about the next one?

i love watching vaults PSA subs and guides. Ive used them on my own cards and makes the job so much easier.
That ‘graded value’ claimed is a double edged sword. The higher value will sometimes increase the fees for the submission alone
if u send in a 80$ card and if it gets a 10 and is valued at 1000$, why would u care about a 10$ markup
@@sanderolsen7426 the mark up isn’t always calculated like that
This really helped got into collecting again and didn't know how to do this other than when I use to go to comic book conventions and PSA was there. 😊
Thank you for this video.. i have always wondered how to get cards graded i have a couple i would like to send out lol

So cool! I actually have an autographed Ash’s Pikachu I’ve been wanting to get graded so this is perfect timing! Thanks for the simple walk through!
I have never gotten a card graded. I appreciate the information.
Information to spend money on a company that has 7 places in America and is a gamble with being honest😂

No more sticky, and you can absolutely sandwich them between cardboard
I’m pretty sure the cut the card savers open instead of risking pulling them out, so the pull tabs wouldn’t be of use
Totally non biased unsponsored content from everyone’s favorite PokeTuber!
Thank you so much for this! I've been wondering about grading lately.

You can get a better discount code ($50) by creating a PSA account and waiting a few weeks for them to email you about your first submission.
