Detangle in a vertical direction. Sideways is to style after detangling. It makes a huge difference.

$36 dollars is too much. We need a dupe😄😄😄 I been surfing the net. Soon as I find a dupe, Im buying it lolll. My stylists used the same brush in my hair at the sink bowl, I was shooketh. I panicked and thought she put relaxer in the conditioner seriously. It detangles my curls like no other, and she didnt even do it in small sections😂😂 (you remember back in the day when the natural hair movement began to take off some salon stylist were adding some form of relaxer in conditioners, ruining people curl pattern😑)

Love this brush! Btw works even better in shower with running water and conditioner on your head🚿 Unlike tangle teezer which pulled out my hair more overtime ( my hair is fine curly)

I suggest wrapping some old fashioned rubber bands around the handle. That should help improve the grip when your hands are slippery.
Wow awesome tip, ive just started grabbing from the paddle area 😀 Thanks!! I just bought another one so I can have the other to use once my hair is dry (I rollerset then wrap my hair up) since it does take a little while to dry☺
That you for trying this brush out, I am definitely going to check it out. Perhaps it should be more ergonomically designed. I generally use a large tooth comb after I finger detangle my fine hair. I bought the Denman 8 row brush but hardly ever use it. Great video!
No problem! Large tooth combs are a nice way to go over hair after a finger detangle. As for the Denman 8 row brush, I see a lot of people using it and they seem to like it. Do you mind sharing why you hardly use it? How do you feel about it?
I love this brush, but I’m still figuring out how to best detangle my hair lol. Sometimes it breaks my hair. It’s super uncomfortable to hold. But this is still a great one and worth it in my opinion. I don’t use to style. I have low-pos, fine, medium density 3b/c hair
Thanks for sharing!! Definitely sounds like you're having a bitter-sweet experience with the brush but I'm glad you still think it's worth it! With time, you'll figure out what detangling technique works best for you.
