      I think it's more expensive for you guys in the States due to shipping/taxes. It's a British brand so it's not as pricey here (£17.50). Still steep for a brush but not as extreme as $33.

    I bought this brush because of Afrikan hair god. I love it. I feel like the ultimate tangle teezer was chewing up my fine strands. Particularly my ends. I love it more than the tangle teezer because it’s has a larger surface area so I can get through bigger sections quicker. I feel like it more gentle in my hair. Maybe because the teeth aren’t as closer as the tangle teezer. And after applying ahg tips for detangling hair, I’m all set. Now hopefully this time I won’t need another detangling brush

  • @Jasyoucan
    @Jasyoucan 3 роки тому +39

    I love that brush! I find it works even better when you start off brushing vertically *with the handle in the same direction as the ends of the hair* and then go through horizontally as you did in the video. It makes the experience even better 😆
    I alternate between my kazmaleje paddle comb🥰, my d38 🥰and occasional my tangle teezer ultimate.
    I get a lot of breakage from tangle teezers sadly and they need to be replaced often.

    My new favorite and only brush tool I use on my hair. My former favorite was the EZ detangler I got from Shanique Buntin. I use it on my wet hair, damp hair and blown out hair (I have a Revair Blowdrier) honestly best all round tool hands down. Hair stats: Kinky, 4B/4C, fine strands, medium density, high porosity, medium length. Guys seriously get it I have been using it for a month now no complaints so soothing, smoothing and detangling.

    I just received the denman paddle brush and for $34 I would expect more of a solid feel from it. I feels to airy and I would expect heavier feeling brush. But they just keep making stuff with cheaper materials as years go on charging the hell out of us. Besides that it does detangle good.

    I have been waiting for this! Thank you! I already got it, but I love to see other naturals liking what I like and I like this brush. I'm so glad I only tried 1 other detangling tool, cus this brush is so expensive, but I feel like it's worth it just because of how much hair it can handle. A good paddle speeds things up.
    Oh! And I got a bomb blowout with it. I'm terrible at blowdrying my own hair, but this worked out much better than my past attempts with the chase method. Lost way less hair, too.

    I got this brush almost exactly a year ago. It is as good as they say. And that’s on my tangly, fine, full head of 4c and beyond hair. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last. A number of the bristles have fallen into the brush and pulling them out and back innplace doesn't fix it. I can literally hear bristles rattling around inside of it. It's such a shame because otherwise it's perfect

    People should stop telling people how to brush their hair. People brush their hair in directions that works best for them. With that said, I have the old school Denman brushes and I am a faithful Tangle Teezer user. However, I am going to purchase the Denman D38 brush. I wish they made the Denman brush with multiple length bristles because that is what I love about the Tangle Teezer. I feel that having multiple length bristles detangles easier.

You can get a regular denman at the beauty supply store for pretty cheap, as well as a good quality paddle brush, so i do not see any reason for this to be so expensive. I use a regular paddle brush in my hair and i love it, especially using it vertically for detangling first. I do love the original denman brush but they really pushing it with this price.

      The best part is that it's a paddle brush so I can do bigger sections which means shorter detangling time!🙌🏾 I like the Tangle Teezer too, but I feel like over time it does more mechanical damage as the shorter, flexible bristles kinda "pop" and "catch" on the strands instead of going through them. Idk🤷🏾‍♀️
