Why don't you show the part you need to cut out behind to allow them clearance to actually fit properly cause I'd like to know how you done it have same truck just no room behind
After getting tired of people flashing me to turn down my low beams & a couple “official warnings” I found the stock housing really not intended for that type light. BUT I did end up with a super set of lights that I’m more than pleased with and doesn’t blind the oncoming traffic. It’s a set of spyder projector with audew 360 led.
I like how you skipped the part where you got them to actually fit. I bought some for an 05. I would have to drastically modify the the frame behind the the light housing. I’m not willing to chop up my truck for them!
Agreed how the F%#k did you get them to fit looks like need to cut metal get them in there's absolutely no room too bad he left that part out now I have light's I cannot use GRRR
hid lights were good but they didn't like cold weather and so I would randomly have a light go out on my way to work which is about an hour drive to our shop.. the HID would get to a certain temp and just go out and not come on until I pulled over and let it warm up again, really annoying so I'm glad LED lights finally became main stream and good
My led headlight were a tight fit as well. But they look great! It took a bit to get it fitted in. I'm going to mess with it tomorrow and see if I can't take a put of the plastic out and fit it better. Great video! Honestly I was wondering if other people had the same problem too!
If you want to change your housing to a projector set up go with hid because they are brighter hands down, stock housing led are brighter, do not buy hid for a halogen housing they are not made for that and will not look bright on the road and will blind people
Perfect look with this headlights. 🖒Have the same Truck here in Germany. But... we cant drive LED bulbs like this in this damn Country. Its absolutly Not legal. I like it. God Bless america.
I bought a full set of LED headlight bulbs for my 05 Sierra HD, and one of low beams just went out about week ago. They've only been in the truck for a year. So disappointed with the life of them. However they were not auxbeam brand. But still spent $55 - $65 for each pair. Hopefully your auxbeams last longer than a year. I might go back to HIDs in my truck
Have you had a problem with the head from the bulbs and the plastic melting? I’ve wanted to buy some less for my Chevy but I’m nervous the heat will met the plastic
@@mrdirtwork6673 I bought 2 brands to test. The Hikari Ultra, in a white box. And I think the Auxbeam, and hands down the Ultras were better. But They are like $90, b/c they are definitely more powerful. The beam pattern really relays more on your headlight housing. But it’s not a bad pattern.
how do they work? I didnt like my hids because they keep burning out! I also couldnt see as good as the halogens. Can you see good in the rain fog or even just at night in regular weater
+Sam Peterson well thanks for your service as well, the cab lights came stock so I'm not sure how to install those but check out some more videos on UA-cam I'm sure there is one out there good luck sir
I just bought a one owner 160k mile 03 ext cab LS. the owner, luckily, was a big believer in regular fluid changes. other than that, really not much besides brake work has been done to the truck. so, there's a lot of stuff i can improve immediately. looking at the headlights however i thought no way can that fan to fit bw the headlight assy and the frame. in the video, it looks like the one closer to the radiator is really squeezed in there and even looks like it at a bit of an angle bc of it. can you tell me if you had beam adjustment issues bc the fan was wedged against that crossbar? thanks
+J.S. Reilly it was very tight but it fit and I didn't have any issues the lights sat level as well but maybe if you cut into the plastic behind the head lamps it should fit perfect
Love your videos and thanks for your service. I have an 06 LBZ and my housings are very scratched and pitted so I want to upgrade. I understand a projector housing is preferred vs the stock reflector housing so you don't blind people or get a ticket. It looks like you installed these in your stock housings ? Do you know where I can get a quality housing with a projecter for the main and a reflector for the high's ?
Ya man I want the same lights! Nice truck to, I have the identical truck, 07 Silverado, black as well.... I have HIDs right now, I hate the fact that the HIDs take so long to turn on especially when I want the high beams on!
Truck Master I am very frustrated, I finally ordered a set of lights for my Silverado from Auxbeam, never got them, delivery company I guess lost my order and they don't have a answer, Auxbeam aren't seem to be helping either. I hope I get my money back
Truck Master I have a tracking number, been watching it leaving terminal then arrive at terminal for a month! And yet nobody seems to have a answer why! Lol.... very frustrating I hope I get my money back, Auxbeam lost my business, il buy somewhere else. Great videos by the way, thanks for the reply. I have to vent!!!
I'm looking to do the same lights on my 2004 1500. I tried one brand but they wouldn't work unless you did some modifying. Did you have any issues or was this a pretty simple install?
So I did order this LEDs for my 03 1500 Silverado. It did say it matches my truck but The connections didn't match. And the led is to long for the casing
i called auto parts they said my bulbs are h11 and 9005. I also clicked on the link and the description said f16 h1 bulb which set up do i need my truck is the same year and same body style
recognized the tan under shirt lol. Knew right away your prior service. I hated wearing those shirts. Are you a dealer for Auxbeam, I am from Buffalo, Ny
+Paul the Wxguru great questions I plan on making another video on that. I have had people flash there lights at me already I think this is a great think for the hi beams but I might switch out the low beams now

+ShortyChevy04 I'm sure we all had the same problem with clearance but it really dose fit good.
Truck Master they did fit good just worried about stuff touching the back of it.
Mine won't fit as well without cutting the assembly help out if you can
Did you have to do anything else for your fog lights to turn on? I installed mine on 2003 tundra and my fog lights will not work.
Did you need load resistors for these? I know people use them on blinkers but I wasn’t sure about headlights
If you want to change your housing to a projector set up go with hid because they are brighter hands down, stock housing led are brighter, do not buy hid for a halogen housing they are not made for that and will not look bright on the road and will blind people
So if Anyones watching you don't have to cut anything they clear with out cutting I have a 2005 Silverado 1500 and they cleared with no issues
How was the light output on the road? I've found LEDs to be plenty bright, but do not do a great job of projecting the light on the roadway.
Are those light bright do they last long?
i know the classic take the 9005 and 9006 for low and high beam, why did you get the h11?
Same thing I wanna know

Truck Master How was the light output behind the wheel. Was it noticeably better?
Agent WK I didn't have any light shining outside of the wheels but the head lights were bright

Nice brush guard where did you buy that one at?
did you have to adjust your headlights
Whats that box called that the leds plug into. Mine dident come with it and there not working
First off...thank you for your service to our Country! Second, did you do a "how to" on the install of the marker lights on top of your rig?
+Sam Peterson thanks! And no I didn't but I plan on smoking them black soon and doing a video
Your welcome! I'm a Veteran as well! I have a 2016 LML and want to put those on mine! Did you install yours yourself? How hard was it?

for hids and leds you need projector housings
Is it possible to aim an adjust the low beam lights

Next time do the brightest test with the lights you just bought and drive around to show how much the street gets lit up
+Spider Stillz thanks for the idea I will post a new video on it tomorrow
F16’s are Awesome 😎 on my Dodge CUMMINS

Maxx Power you should try OPT7 led headlights,i ordered mine on amazon.they even give you a 2 year warranty.
looks good. have you seen the '15 tow mirrors (with LEDs) available on ebay now for your model truck?
+DRT71 no but now that you said that I'm checking it out. I've been thinking about changing out my mirrors
great video im subscribing! i have hids on my lows and fogs thinking about getting a pair for my high beams to compare them
+jeffrey aguilar that's a great idea, I had hids in the past and I must say the LED is the way to go but thanks for your support
I'm looking to do the same lights on my 2004 1500. I tried one brand but they wouldn't work unless you did some modifying. Did you have any issues or was this a pretty simple install?
I have a 2004. I used a dremel tool and cut the opening a bit larger.
Did one package come with both high beams and low beams?
Connor Linnenbrink yes
So I did order this LEDs for my 03 1500 Silverado. It did say it matches my truck but The connections didn't match. And the led is to long for the casing
+philip martinez that's not cool email that company and ask for your money back not sure but 1500 and the 2500 might have different connections
Is it the H11 or H1 link states its the H1 you state they're the H11 so confused 06 Chevy Duramax
how are they holding up so far interested in getting a set
+Travis Williams they hold up great
Does the light shine far with the leds?
+Yamaha Rider not really far but wider
Mines do

@@TruckMaster which were too bright the high or low?
@@TruckMaster so what kind did you switch to??
I’d like to note that the solution to a foggy headlight is NOT buying a brighter bulb
the brand light I bought will not fit because they hit the plastic behind the headlight

This dude is prior service
+Tyler Jones actually I'm still in
recognized the tan under shirt lol. Knew right away your prior service. I hated wearing those shirts. Are you a dealer for Auxbeam, I am from Buffalo, Ny

The link in your description took me to the wrong bulbs...
now that you have had them on the truck for 2 months, any issues at all? Flicker, passing motorists flashing, lights at you, etc.
+Paul the Wxguru great questions I plan on making another video on that. I have had people flash there lights at me already I think this is a great think for the hi beams but I might switch out the low beams now
